I/ve got Garageband and my Firepod 8 channel interface working ... but I need some tips .. especially on the relationship of input levels between my Firepod and Garageband ....
When I am setting input levels for a recording ... where should the input level be on the track in Garageband? .... Is that volume setting only for playback and mixing? .... or is it for the input as well ...

Yes, as loud as possible without lighting the FP's clip leds.
When I mix the final product ... and change the volumes on the different
tracks.. aren't you then changing the input levels?
No, you're changing the output levels.
can't you red line and overload the track?
Yes, that's why each track has a fader, so that you don't clip.
Is there a master ouput level indicator
Yes, right over the Master Volume slider.
I guess you can't just put each track as loud as you want ... correct?
As loud as you want without clipping.
I would strongly suggest doing some web searches on "Mixing and Mastering" to learn more about how to mix, there's a TON of info floating around the web.

(I know this is months after your post.)
Control of the iMic volume is in the Preferences pane called "Sound". You can set the output and the input levels there.
Remember the iMic's position switch works only for the imput, either close to the microphone icon for "microphone" or away from it for "line in".
I use the iMic exclusively.

The iPhone _does not_ support Bluetooth file transfer. You must use the USB cable for syncing, or there are file transfer/storage apps in the App Store (Files, File Magnet, Air Sharing, there are lots) that use Wi-Fi.
On the iPhone, Bluetooth is limited to voice calls, music streaming to stereo headphones, and tethering (using the phone as a cellular modem). Tethering requires carrier support - O2 and Orange support it, Tesco does not.

How to set up Windows with Reader and certificate for all users

we're dealing with a Win XP (SP3) system that is set up by an Administrator. One task is to set up the system in a way that all users (w/o admin rights) become able to read a certified-protected PDF. Currently we know a way to install the "public key" for this certificate only for one known user. But how to proceed when not all users are known? The users shall later on never be asked to confirm the certification installation/registration.
If it helps, here is the software version:
Acrobat 8.12 to encrypt the PDF via certification. In near future I will switch to Acrobat 9.x
Reader 7.x and/or 8.x on customer PCs.
Thank you for ideas and hints.
BTW: Next time we want to provide a solution for Win7 systems, too.

Try this in a TEST instance before you promote it to Production.
You will need to bounce the application services and enforce the users to sign off/on after setting those profile options.

Much like calling from one phone to another, you would need a separate Apple ID to contact with FaceTime (just as calling your own phone number would direct you to your own voicemail, rather than ring your phone).

How to set input delay and output delay when source Synchronous

ClkIN is the board clock which is connected to the FPGA. Clkif is the generated clock from ClkIN. The Device's clk come from Clkif. So, how to set input delay and output delay in this scene(within my understand, this is Source Synchronous)?
The example in many document, the input delay and output delay setting all refer to board clock(within my understand, this is System Synchronous). In that scene, the input delay max = TDelay_max + Tco_max; input delay min = Tdelay_min + Tco_min; the output delay max = Tdelay_max + Tsu; output delay min = Tdelay_min - Th.
So, I want to know how to set input/output delay in the Source Synchronous.
In system synchronous, I set input/output delay such as:

So, first. Architecturally, the clock that you forward to your external device should not come directly from the clock tree, but should be output via an ODDR with its D1 input tied to logic 1 and the D2 tied to logic 0. This guarantees minimal skew between the output data and the forwarded clock.

This generates an output clock that is the same frequency as your input clock. This is consistent with your drawing, but inconsistent with your constraints - is the forwarded clock a 50MHz clock or a 25MHz clock?
I will assume your ClkIN goes to a BUFG and generates ClkIN_BUFG. Your first constraint generates a 50MHz clock on the ClkIN port which will propagate through the BUFG to (among other places) this ODDR.

Assuming your forwarded clock is supposed to be 50MHz, then your 2nd command is close to correct

With this done, you have successfully described the forwarded clock from your design. This is the clock that goes to your device, and hence should be the clock which is used to specify your input and output constraints.

If you want to get fancier, you could try adding a set_clock_latency to the forwarded clock to account for the board propagation of the clock

(But I haven't experimented with clock latency on a generated clock and I don't know for a fact that it works).

the 'Cursor Stability (MSCS001)" package. How do we change the Default to the "Read Uncommitted ("MSUR001") package??? Since it is keeps defaulting to the the other package
we can't connect to do it in the T-SQL query, it has to be set at the Connection String level.

According to your description, you want to set the Transaction Isolation Level in Connection String. Right?
In Reporting Services, the Connection String for OLE DB Connection can only contains Provider, Data Source and Initial Catalog. There's no property for setting Transaction Isolation Level in the Connection String. Based on my knowledge, we can
only set the Transaction Isolation Level at Query level or set it by using code (C#, VB, Java...) to call the property of Connection. So unfortunately your requirement can't be achieved currently.

We are using workflow and when it fails it we are sending the notification mail to the user on his company mail id, i.e. [email protected]
This is working in the current production system. We are doing the new development which will replace the current production system. The existing Basis team does not know how it was setup in production system and how to set it up in the new system.
When we send any mail notification from workflow we can see the mail in SCOT transaction but it is not received at the specified mail address.
Can any one provide the configuration steps or any document for this.

if the data is multiple i.e. line items choose table.
if the data is single i.e. fixed choose template.
Create table
> Draw u r no lines
> choose option select pattern
> select display framed patterns
Choose u r required one.
out lined, or full lined. u can choose option.

That's a good question - I've been trying since fios came out with fios tv central to view the tv guide online. It keeps saying "invalid user name/password". I am recording electric guitars using small amps and Shure 57s and 58s through an Alesis MultiMix 8 FW. Then create the condition to HIDE the rows having those values to be filtered (if this is your purpose)..
