Can you please advise how to show a blank or clear cell as the first option in a pop -up menu on a Mac, I can see how on an IPad but but not on the Mac.

Yvan Koenig wrote an Applescript to create an popup menu with a true blank menu item. You can find it in Yvan's Box Account public area. Click on for_iWork'09, then for-numbers'09, then look for and download popup_with_nil.zip. Unzip the file, then open it with ScriptEditor.
Yvan's scripts include instructions (in French and English) on how and where to save the script and how to use it. I haven't read this one recently, so I can't give you any further details on it.

To gain Internet access for the MacBook Pro, you will either need your own Internet service provided by an ISP or access to another Wi-Fi network that has Internet service.

If this is an IMAP account, that is how it is supposed to work. The whole point of IMAP is to keep your email synchronized across multiple access devices.
Instead of trash, you could move those files to a new IMAP folder you create, something like "ignore on iPad" folder.

Tv show is available to download in Itunes on ipad, but not on my Mac mini.

I wanted to download a tv show that aired last night, and it is showing up as available on my ipad in itunes. I have a Mac mini hooked up to my tv (got rid of cable), so i went to itunes on the mac mini to purchase the tv show, but the tv show is simply not showing up on itunes in the store on my computer. It is really odd. Are shows simply available sooner on devises like an ipad?
And, I assume since I have iCloud activated, I can purchase the show on my ipad, and it will be available on my computer, correct?

There does not appear to ba a facilty for this on the iPad. However there are a number of apps that will allow you to create and play video playlists. Try VP Lite which is free.

How can I delete photos from iPad but not iCloud?

Before setting up iCloud, my girlfriend downloaded photos from her camera to her iPad. We now have iCloud set up, but the photos on her iPad remain in the "Photos" album instead of Photo Stream. I would like to delete the photos from the iPad to free up storage space, and move them to the Macbook. I'm guessing that I would need to somehow move them to Photo Stream then delete the old album where they were stored on the iPad... Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP forum.
I understand you can't print from your Mac book pro. I would like to help.
Since your iPad can print I think it is a software issue.
Go into system preferences and remove the printer.
I would also uninstall the HP software if any is present.
You should then verify and repair the disk permissions.
Then do an Apple update.
Reboot your Mac book pro.
Then install the HP software.

ICloud syncing iPhones and iPad but not to iCloud nor my Mac

I have two iPhones, an iPad and two MacBooks. iCloud is used for syncing the content. This all works ok, except for the Address book. Address book content is synced only between the iDevices but neither to the iCloud Web-Portal nor to my Macs. This is very puzzling because I thought all the synchronization is done through iCloud, so how can the iCloud Portal and my Macs be left out. Especially given the fact, that the calendar sync works perfectly.
Here's what I did to verify:
- create a new address record named "test iPhone" on my iPhone. The record shows up on my iPad, but not in the web and not on my Macs
- create a new address record named "test iPad" on my iPad. The record show up on my iPhone, but not on the web and not on my Macs.
- create a new address record named "test Mac" on my Mac. The record shows up in the web and on my iDevices
- create a new address record named "test Web" via iCloud web interface. The record shows up on my Macs, but not on the iDevices
any ideas?

You can have each individual service turned on or off, so while you may not be using 2 iCloud accounts, it is perfectly possible to use 2 accounts and get exactly the results you are getting.
Why don't you look to see if you are using 2 accounts, you could check settings > mail, contacts and calendars on your phone and iPad or just look at the contacts app.

How do I get rid of xml tags but not when the tag has copyright in it?

That sounds like a lot of work, but in the vast majority of cases the lookahead will only have to look at one character before yielding.
"<(?:(?!copyright|[<>]).)*>" This is basically the same as the second regex, but it does all the real work in the lookahead. I don't recommend it; it's less readable and probably less efficient than the second regex. But both the second and third regexes can be made more efficient by using [possessive quantifiers|http://www.regular-expressions.info/possessive.html] (that whole site is highly recommended, by the way): "<(?:(?!copyright)[^<>])*+>", "");
"<(?:(?!copyright|[<>]).)*+>" The first regex can use a possessive quantifier, too, but not in the lookahead: "<(?![^<>]*copyright)[^<>]*+>"

Would doing the "Reset" under General settings do that? When I returned from Europe I reset my ipad to get it in the right time zone etc.
