Are you saying that you want to see the menu screen when you launch the program?
If so, go to the Help menu and select Welcome Screen. When the Welcome Screen launches, click on the gear in the upper right corner and set Always Start On to Welcome Screen.
Or are you asking how to start the program from the Welcome Screen?

Hi there, on my macbook pro, can anyone tell me please how I can reset the welcome screen in Premiere Elements 12 back to how it was, were it asks to open an existing project or a new one. I made the mistake of changing the settings to open Premiere Elements editor by default but now it opens straight into a new project each time. Many thanks.

I am strictly an Elements Windows user, but I think I am on common ground with this response. Please check it out.
Resetting of the Welcome Screen is done using the icon to which the arrow points in the screenshot.
If you cannot get to the Welcome Screen due to a prior set, then in the Open project, if you have a Window Menu, go to Window Menu/Welcome Screen.

How to serialize Premiere Elements 11?
We're in a networked (domain) Windows environment. How do I deploy a serialized version of Adobe Premiere Elements 11? We've been able to create serialization packages for CS6 using AAMEE, but not for Premiere Elements 11. AAMEE says that "a valid installer could not be found". However, the installer works fine, if it's just run. I've also been unable to use AAMEE to create an install package for Premiere Elements 11.

On my Mac, after the installation i get this error when i start - "Premiere Elements 13.0 has encountered an error. [/Adobe/pre/main/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283]"
any ideas how to fix this, i don't know or haven't faound out how to contact Adobe supporet....Here's the contact link for Adobe support. It's just three clicks from the site's home page.

Had Photoshop Elements 12 on my other Mac that recently got smashed, new one has no CD drive. How do I install Elements with my product key? Purchasing an external CD drive is not an option at this time after forking over the 2500 for the new Mac...

Cannot start Premiere Elements
I have successfully downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements with the serial numbers from Adobe.
My machine is a Sony Viao with Intel I7 core and 200 GB free on the C:/ drive.
Elements starts and runs faultlessly
Premiers pops up the User Account Control (UAC) window "Do you want the following program to make changes to your computer" Name Premiere Element 12 Publisher Adobe Systems File Origin Hard drive on this computer.
After click on YES, the UAC window closes and there is no further progress.
Opening Task Manager reveals that Premiere Elements has not openedAre you using an Administrator account to run your computer?
What version of Quicktime do you have installed?
•What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
•What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
•Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
•For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
•-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

Dual video problems - Do you have dual graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed

CPU at 100% when starting Premiere Elements 10
Hi,
When I start Premiere Elements 10 the program runs at 100% CPU usage. Even when I haven´t opened a project yet. So it is not caching media or something. On the screenshot below you can see my problem. There is no project open but the task "Adobe Premiere Elements.exe" is running at 100%.
This makes my system very slow and instable.
I have a 2GB Pentium D 3.0 GHz and my harddrives have lots of free space (They are not working very hard when using Premiere).
Can anyone help me with this?
DimitriNo, it doesn't barely meet the tech requirements (regardless of Adobe's suggested minimums). It is not adequate to work with this program.
With only 2 gigs of RAM, the program is not only idling but also doing a lot of paging. And, if you've got less than 30 gigs of clean, free, defragmented space, it's also struggling with defragmentation.
It's also possible the Organizer is auto-analyzing your drive and if you've got other programs running in the background (like a live defrag program or an intrusive antivirus program like Norton or McAfee) that could be contributing to the problem. -

does anyone have any idea on how to start an application with a login window? a login window is the first frame or window to be displayed when an application starts running. and only correct login id and password have been entered the real application will start. any sample out there? thank you.You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

Originally, I want my .SWF to keep changing its background.
The solution I got was placing colored stage-sized rectangles on
the bottom layer. Then I don't want the viewers to see the HTML
area where I cannot seem to control smooth color changes.
