How to Start the Design part in XI while Converting the PDF file into Text file using Module Processor?

Govind,
If you want some changes to be done to the file like mapping etc then you need to have the IR setting done too.
But if you are going to use XI as an FTP service you need no configuration on the IR except creating the Datatype , message type and message Interfaces .

If only the language is Hebrew, you should correct it in the Paragraph and Character Styles.
But in such a case I would expect more problems.
If you are a creative cloud subscriber you should additionally install the InDesign version, English with Hebrew support:
Go to the preferences of you CC.app. It is found behind the Gear Symbols on the top right.
When the preferences open, go to the Apps section.
Change the App Language to English with Hebrew support.
Now you can install it. It will install on the very same place where your InDesign program is found some additional plugins, which will give you access to Hebrew functionality, like RTL text. Otherwise you will inherit in the document (and where you copy and paste it from such a document into another one). But now you can change or repair problems.
Now repeatstep 1 + 2, but you need not to install your own language again. InDesign will now, when started, run in the language of your OS (when you have it installed in that language) but with more functionality to handle problems with Hebrew documents.
The same steps you would have to do with Arabic or Asian documents. These languages will also add more plugins. But keep it limitted to those language you need. I have installed it that way, because I get sometime documen where the text flows the wrong direction or the numbers come up in Farsi digit, not in Arabic digits. For such purposes I need versions in languages I don’t understand myself.

How to start the Message Server?

Hi,
I wish to start the J2EE engine and for the same it is mandatory to start the Message Server first.
In order to start the message server, I run the following command:
D:\usr\sap\J2E\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386>msg_server start
msg_server=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used.
msg_server=>sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline

Hi Anand,
Will be good to know what OS are you using...
If you're tryng to start an instance use <prompt>: startsap pf=<profile of the system you want to start>
If you logon as <sid>adm just type startsap
If for some reason you need to start only the message server try <prompt>: msg_server start pf=<profile of the system you want to start>

I installed it in E drive (2003 server). Database path is F drive.

Check the following path
E:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SapGui
Here the actual Logon Pad file would be stored with name "SAPLOGON" or "SAPLGPAD".
Create another shortcut for above file on your desktop.

How to start the data socket in VC++? In my application, i need to link to pc , so in order for me to start running the data socket, is it mean this two pc have to install with measurement studio software? after that, how can i code the server side so that the server pc can get the text file from client's pc?

Hi,
The DataSocket server is an executable, so you can just lunch it as any other executable. You can use the system commmand or any other way.
Once the server is running you can just use the connect method to start up the communication. You don't need measurement studio in the client machine, all you need is to create create an installer that includes the DataSocket component as any other MStudio controls.

How to start the jms service?

I have installed the oracle9ias on linux 7.2. I start the EM web manager, and start other component in the component list. and I found that the 9127 port not open.
how can i start the jms service. the rmi port is already open.

Hello Xiaofeng,
The 9127 port is only used by the standalone OC4J J2EE Container (i.e. when you run OC4J outside of Oracle9iAS). When you run OC4J as part of Oracle9iAS, the JMS port is allocated by OPMN (Oracle Process Manager and Notification Server) dynamically that's why you don't see anything on 9127, if you go to the EM Web Manager, click on Server Properties of your OC4J instance, you should be able to see a configuration parameter that specifies the range of JMS port, OPMN will use a port number in the range for the JMS server. When you start Oracle9iAS (with embedded OC4J), the JMS server will start automatically.
Another thing to point out is that the JMS service in OC4J is a light-weight, memory based messaging server and it doesn't support persistence. If you want to deploy production JMS application, please use OracleJMS instead, which is based on Oracle Database Advanced Queuing, in that case, you start the JMS service by starting the database.
