How to stop 261 and 262 MVT types after GR for production Order.

After GR [MB31] against the Production order, 261 and 262 movments should not be happen, but in present proces its taking place,
Client dont want to happen it,
Can any body tell me how to controll this.

You can TECO the production order if reqd since delivery complete status of the order.
or you can go to system status and do as explained .

Hi all,
How to Restrict Reversal of Goods Issue by 262 for a Production order after Goods Receipt (GR-101) for Porduction order is posted.
eg will make more clerity.
Step 1- After creating Production for Finished Material, I post Goods Issue GI against production order with 261 movement type.
Step 2- Confirmed the Production order for Finished Material.
Step 3- Make GR for Finished Material with 101 movement type.
Now If i want to Post Reversal of the Goods Issue posted previously with 261 movement type for Semifinished Material, system should not allow to do that, but system allows me to do same with 262 movement type.
as the same material i already issued against production order & is consumed. so if some one want to makes Reversal GI with 262, it should not allow.
Please help.

2) Select CNF and double click on it.
3) New entry
4) RMWA- Goods Movement set as prohibited. save

I guess u r trying to view the detail scheduling info (tab in MD13) for a planned order . In that case -
1. Go to PLAF and enter the planned order number. (PLAF-PLNUM) and get the ID of the capacity requirements record (PLAF-BEDID).
2. With this PLAF-BEDID go to KBED. pass the value here. KBED-BEDID. The KBED-ARBID values are your work center ID.
3. To get the work center texts ( the way is appears in the screen) - Pass this value to CRHD . CRHD-OBJTY = 'A' ( i.e Type work center) and CRHD-OBJID = KBED-ARBID.

I have created a production order, now before even making the issue of rawmaterials from the inventory the system is allowing the goods receipt for that production order , kindly tell me the step by step procedure to check it.

Hi Srini,
there are couple of ways to handle this situation..
1. If you set all the components as Backflush relevant in Material Master or setting all Compoents tick in OPK4 will ensure that at the time of confirmation you will have all the components will be done auto GI.
Now in your control key or Prod. scheduling profile specify that Auto GR.
Now your GR & GI are linked.
In OPK4, in the 2nd Tab page, termination of Goods Movements and Goods movements Ticked, so that when ever there is a problem with the components system will terminate the Confirmation.
So there will not be any GR without GI.
But, one can make GR with MB31 or MIGO
(So this is an option but no fool proof method).
2. Activating the User Satus (Status Profile) so that once the GI is done only you allow the Confirmation.
(The settings we can discuss if required).
3. Having the Use Exit..
Enhancement - MBCF0002
Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
Include - ZXMBCU02
Refer below links for further details..

default quantity of confirmation(co11) should allowed in goods movements mb

How to block movement type 261 and 262 from several storage locations

Dear Expert,
Can we block the 261 and 262 movement type from several storage locations? These storage locations are not affected by the MRP run, where for the materials that have been moved to these storage locations their existance are not count. These storage locations could not be used for confirmation production order, therefore i want to block 261 and 262 movement type from these storage locations.

if my understanding is correct abt ur query,
1) you want in confirmation screen, Consumption should happen only from one storage location
2) Rest all storage locations should not be allowed
3) Maintain Storage location in BOM component view, in mass you can maintain in CEWB
4) Now GO with SHD0, Make storage location field as Out put only, for CO11N Transaction

How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done

Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
Pls suggest best solution.

You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
Enhancement - MBCF0002

Allow mov type 261 and 262 for a material type only

Requirement is to allow movt type 261 and 262 for a particular material type.( Assume Only 261 - 262 issue transactions happen against that material type.)
User to be restricted, while material issue (migo), for the material type XXXX to 261 - 262 movt type only.
No any other movt type allowed for this material type while issuing material.
All suggestions welcomed.

Movement 261 and 262

Hi All,
I am having a problem regarding movement type 261 and 262.
When I am doing 261, in production order withdrawn quantity is getting updated and acording to that the Cost of that component also gets updated. And storage location Stock getting decreased respectively.
But when I am doing 262, nothing is updated(withdrawn quntity in production order - component overview & Cost of that component). But respective Stock is getting increased in storage location.
What is the problem. OR what procedure should I follow to overcome from this problem.

Again i m clearifying my problem with example...
Suppose, i m doing GI (movement type 261) using MIGO or CO27 for one component in production ordr.
Then it is appearing as a "Quantity withdrawn" in "Component overview" in production order. say 10 pc.
Then stock of perticular storage location will be decrease by 10 pc.
But when I am doing reverse GI (mvnt 262) using MB1A then "Quantity withdrawn" field should become blank, i mean zero. but that is not happening. But stock of perticular sorage location is Increased by 10 pc in right way.
So, I can say it is right according to Stock increase and decrease. But, by seeing component overview i can't say the situation of GI.
Is there any setting in SPRO?
plz give guidence.

Hi,
You have 2 potential solutions in your case :
1- Sub-class TextNullable class of Framework and add your methods in the
sub-class.
This is the way Domain class work. Only Nullable classes are sub-classable.
This is usefull for Data Dictionary.
The code will be located in any partition that uses or references the supplier
plan.
2- Put your add on code on a specific class and instanciate it in your user
classes (client or server).
You could also use interface for a better conception if needed. The code will
also be in any partition that uses or references the supplier plan where your
add on class is located.
If you don't want that code to be on each partition, you could use libraries :
configure as library the utility plan where is your add-on class.
You can find an example of the second case (using a QuickSort class,
GenericArray add-on) with the "QuickSort & List" sample on my personal site

Your question about "utility classes" brings up a number of issues, all of
which are important to long-term success with Forte.
There is no such thing as a static method (method that is associated with a
class but without an implicit object reference - this/self/me "pointer") in
TOOL, nor is there such thing as a global method (method not associated
with a class at all). This is in contrast to C++, which has both, and
Java, which has static methods, but not global classes. Frequently, Forte
developers will write code like this:
result, num : double;
// get initial value for num....
tmpDoubleData : DoubleData = new;
tmpDoubleData.DoubleValue = num;
result = tmpDoubleData.Sqrt().DoubleValue;
tmpDoubleData = NIL; // send a hint to the garbage collector
in places where a C++ programmer would write:
double result, num;
// get initial value for num....
result = Math::Sqrt(num);
or a Java programmer would write:
double result, num;
// get initial value for num....
result = Math.sqrt(num);
The result of this is that you end up allocating an extra object now and
then. In practice, this is not a big deal memory-wise. If you have a
server that is getting a lot of hits, or if you are doing some intense
processing, then you could pre-allocate and reuse the data object. Note
that optimization has its own issues, so you should start by allocating
only when you need the object.
If you are looking for a StringUtil class, then you will want to use an
instance of TextData or TextNullable. If you are looking to add methods,
you could subclass from TextNullable, and add methods. Note that you will
still have to instantiate an object and call methods on that object.
The next issue you raise is where the object resides. As long as you do
not have an anchored object, you will always have a copy of an object on a
partition. If you do not pass the object in a call to another partition,
the object never leaves. If you pass the object to another partition, then
the other partition will have its own copy of the object. This means that
the client and the server will have their own copies, which is the effect
you are looking for.
Some developers new to Forte will try to get around the lack of global
methods in TOOL by creating a user-visible service object and then calling
methods on it. If you have a general utility, like string handling, this
is a bad idea, since a service object can reside only on a single
partition.
Summary:
* You may find everything you want in TextData.
* Unless you anchor the object, the instance will reside where you
intuitively expect it.
* To patch over the lack of static methods in TOOL, simply allocate an
instance when required.

When deal with fragmentation, most of the time we will be directed to read the technical paper (How to stop defragmenting and start living). If i'm not mistaken, this was published in the year of 1996/1998 for Oracle version 7/8.
Time passed and we are now at 11g and i can't help to wonder if the many good advices still hold true? I've seen posting saying forget about segment with > 1024 extents, as it doesn't degrade performance.
I want to stick to that advice, but...its kind of old! Or maybe old is as good as gold.

Realistically, any recent Oracle version is going to use locally managed tablespaces, using either uniform or autoallocated extent sizes. In either case, it is practically impossible to have fragmentation, so there is exceptionally little that a DBA could even do if he wanted to. You don't set extent sizes at the table level any longer, you don't set PCTINCREASE, at most you pick an extent size for each tablespace and pick with tablespace an object is going to reside in.
The principles from that white paper are still very valid. It's just that Oracle has made it exceptionally difficult to deviate from them now.

Both the movement types 501 and 561 are used for goods eceipt without reference document
501- goods receipt without reference to purchase order to unrestricted use stock
561- When you are doing mvt type 561 means initial entry of stock balances withot any reference documens(purchase order production order or reservation) from legacy system to SAP system.
No physical material movements occurs during this process.
The quantity recorderd posted to selected stock type and increase the valuated stock of the material.
The valuation of the stock to be recorded depends on two factors
1.The data in the material master record( price control, current valuation valution price)
2.Wheather you enter a value for the quantity to be recorded in the initiial entry of stock balances (EXTAMT.LOC CURRENCY in the item details on the quantity tab page in MIGO screen.)

Hi George,
There are are two types of statuses.One is system status and second one is user status.These statuses will tell us current situation of an order.
We can't change system statuses.But we can create our own statuses through status profile.With this profile we can control user statuses.
In this status profile,
1.We define the sequence in which user statuses can be activated,
2.We define initial statuses
3. Allow or prohibit certain business transactions.
Selection profiles are used to select the objects (say production orders) with different status combinations.We assign status profiles to selection profiles in BS42 T-Code.
