How to stop users not in any group and users from other groups accessing sites they have no permission to access on top link bar?

Hello Community
    Using SharePoint 2010 Server and UI, a web application
was created with subsites.
    The subsites have unique permissions and Owner, Member
and Visitor groups.
    The problem is however even if a user does not exist
in a group that user can access the top link bar/navigation
bar and its sub sites.
    Also any user in any group can access any top link bar/navigation bar and its subsites.
    How do you enforce that if a user is not in a group
they are denied access the top link bar/navigation bar and its
subsites?

If you are using the built in SharePoint navigation links, SharePoint will automatically hide links to sites that a given user doesn't have access to.
The problem is, it sounds to me like you have a fixed top link bar that lists the content and if a user doesn't have access, the link still shows up.
You may want to look at how the top link bar was encapsulated in the design of the page. If it isn't wrapped in the permissions provider code, that could be the problem.

Anyway probably your users have the authority of transaction code ME35K (Release) and authority object M_EINK_FRG (Release Code and Group (Purchasing)) to be able release contract that they created.

(I may start a new thread about getting a new router, but I will look for answers first to my questions and only start one if I cannot find answers.)

Try and closing the app (app store in this case) and switch it back on and then download. If it still doesn't work, then give the IPad a rest and try again later.

You can also check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

set the message number 06 076 as error message , then system will not allow the same line item to cross the PR qty

How to stop user from forwarding his mail

Dear Experts,
I am using the class cl_bcs to generate mails to some users , it would be great if i can stop those users from forwarding such mails to some unauthorised people. I understand that the add_recipient method has the parameter I_NO_FORWARD which should probably do the job when set to 'X' . But unfortunately it still doesnt stop the users from forwarding.
Is there any other way of achieving my requirement.

How can multiple users from different locations access my Muse website files to update them?

We're a team, and we need to be able to work together remotely.
How can I let another user (on the East Coast - I'm on the West coast) have access to my Muse website files so that they can work on them and make changes - but I can also work on them here?
I've already made them an Admin in the Manage section of the live Muse website that is hosted on Business Catalyst.
BTW, they also belong to Creative Cloud.

You need to share your .muse file with this other person.
Muse does not currently support multiple users opening the same .muse file at the same time.
There's lots of options for sharing a file - you could copy it up to a company network server, or email the file back and forth, or use a filesharing service like Dropbox, SendThisFile, Adobe SendNow, or Creative cloud sync, among others.
Which one is right for you depends on the size of your file, how often you're sending the file back and forth, and personal preferences
Whatever you choose, it's important that you DO NOT have 2 users working on the same .muse file at the same time. This can cause corruption of your .muse file. I'd also recommend frequent backups of your .muse file, as you might find that one of you clobbers a change made by the other and you want to be able to go back to your old copy of your .muse file to copy/paste some content to your latest copy of your .muse file.

We have two companies. Already we have restricted end user for using 961 & 962 mvt type in MB1C transaction code in one company code 1000. Now, we want to restrict end user for using 961 & 962 mvt type in MB1C transaction code in other company code 1200.
I have checked configuration using OMJJ transaction. But, it is there so there may be some different way of control.
Can any body help me?

Hi,
To restrict/block the movement type, the steps are:
1. use transaction code OMJJ.
2. Enter the movement type you want to block.[From 961 To 961](do for both961& 962)
3. Select the Second option in the List which appears in the left. (Allowed Transaction).
4. Remove the transaction codes (MB1C)from where you do not want to use that particular movement type& save.
For user specific to block the movement type, pl consult Basis Consultant.

How to stop user from entering value for already existing data

We have a situation , where we need to give user a template for entering the data and then send it to the database. But we want that if user has already entered the value for a combination, then he should not be allowed to select the same combination again in that template.
In other words , there should be write access but not update access.
So I have two questions related to it:
1. How to build report with giving user , the drop-down list of available members under each dimensions. (I know that we can provide list by writing all of them in excel and then using those values in drop-down)
2. How to restrict the user for selecting the combination which has already been selected.

Hi Sanjay,
for your first question...
you can build an EVDRE in a hidden area/sheet to display all values of a desired dimension in rows. Set Option SuppressDataCol to 'Y'. Also maintain MemberSet options to display only the values you need.
Now you can reference your DD-box to the key- or description range.
With some VBA-code you can refresh this EVDRE on Workbook_Open and also set the range (attribute ListFillRange?) of you DD-box dynamically to the RowKeyRange.

I have deleted the iCloud account under my name on their iPads and replaced with their ones. Apple support said yesterday I needed to click the small 'I' by each name as it came up in the TO box and remove it. After doing rid for each contact under each letter of the alphabet it should remove them from latest contacts. Having done this, although I could not remove groups I had sent, I am not convinced they will not return once I have written a few texts, any ideas?
