We have a requirement in which we need to store a information of type some thing like as below:

I understand that we can store this as a Blob or Bfile format.But I need to retrieve the data and display it on the GUI in the same format.
Can anyone please suggest me how can I achieve the same in APEX?

Create Custom List, store information and display the information on web part

Hi,
Working on a Custom visual web part in sharepoint 2010. Scenario is i would like to have two button on that web part, one is "I read it " button for users to tag the page and another one is "find the list of people who already tag/read that
page". i have added a visual web part into my project and two buttons event within it. Now goal is once user click on "I read it button" it will create custom list to store urls and usersname. When click on "Find the list of people"
get the username only for that specific page whoever read/tag it.
1. How can i create the custom list to store all users information
2. Retrieve the information from Custom List and Display the list of people based on specific page url who ever read/tag that page.

List has four columns Title, Hyperlink, Created by, and created. i just wanted to display Users and hyperlink column. i tried to retrieve the items from list but query is not returning any items and displaying. As you said in CAML query we can pass the page
url to get the collection of user for that particular page. but is not something will be hard coded value, if we pass the page url into CAML query? is there something we can dynamically retrieve the users based on page url. for example, if users visits

I need an idea for implementing the"Store, Retrieve, Display Image/Video" concept in JDBC. My Database is DB2. I could not get proper info from google.

1. Figure out how to display image/video
2. Figure out how to encode/decode a image/video into a byte array
3. Design a database suitable for your application that stores blobs
4. Figure out how to use JDBC to store/retrieve blobs via byte arrays.
Steps 1 and 2 have nothing to do with this forum (nor GUI code). There is at least on forum on this site that deals with questions about that.
Steps 3 is only somewhat related to this forum. A DB2 forum would be best.
Step 4 is the only part of this that is specific to this forum. And if you have not used any JDBC then you first start with the tutorial or some other suitable method to learn how JDBC works before attempting blobs.

How can I catch and display the "cent" symbol (Alt+0162)?

I have a jTextArea field in which it supposes to be able to catch a special
character, money cent symbol by Alt+0162 from the keyboard. Does anyone know
how I can catch it and display it in money cent symbol in the jTextArea field?

Create a table with a Long RAW Datatype column for storing the Image Column Data.
Create the form based on the table , which by defaults the column with LONG RAW atatype to a Image Item.
You can use Forms Built in function READ_IMAGE_FILE to read a Image file stored on the file system in to the image item.
A save on the form saves the image in the Image item in the long raw column.

Based on your description, you want to eliminate the substrings (eliminated by comma) that are not AD or AM in each value of the column. Personally, I don’t think this can be done by just using an expression in the Derived Column. To achieve your goal, here
are two approaches for your reference:
Method 1: On the query level. Replace the target substrings with different integer characters, and create a function to eliminate non-numeric characters, then replace the integer characters with the corresponding substrings. The statements

How to retrieve and display image from database in a web page

Hi all;
I have been trying this for some time now. I have found some tutorials so far but none of them addresses my concern. Here it is:
I have built a web application that can connect to an Oracle DB.
I have a table called "employee", where I record any employee details, among which the employee picture. I stored the pictures and the finger prints using "Oracle sql developper" as blob type.
How can i retrieve and view all these information when i run the application?
I can easily retrieve all other types of value, but the image(BLOB type) has been a nightmare for me.
HELP PLEASE.

I think you're slightly misunderstanding something, so maybe I'll try to chime in, even though everyone has said it in various ways.
Before OSX 10.7 (aka Lion) came out, the upgrades to OSX belonged to the Mac and not the user. Probably there was a technical legality in the user agreement that you couldn't do that, but everyone did. I could sell a Mac with Snow Leopard (or anything before that) by just erasing the hard drive, and reinstalling OSX. Then ship it to the buyer. Now, I was pretty honest as a seller, and including not only the original installation discs but also any upgrade. I would only sell a Mac if I was replacing it, so I always was getting the brand new version.
With OSX 10.7, upgrading was done online, with no disks. So the upgrades were tied to an Apple ID rather than the machine. Recently, I sold a MacBook Pro (to upgrade to a 27" iMac), which came with Lion. I had promised the buyer that it would come with Mountain Lion, but I didn't know that the upgrade was tied to my Apple ID. I made good with the buyer by sending along a $20 Apple App Store card so that she could upgrade to Lion.
So what everyone is saying here is that you need the original Installation discs or Snow Leopard disk to reinstall and wipe out the Mountain Lion that is on your Mac. It doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the seller, and without his Apple ID and password, you cannot use it. Once you do a reinstall of Snow Leopard, then you can upgrade to Lion and then to Mountain Lion. I do not believe you can upgrade directly to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, but I'm not sure.
If the seller claimed that you were getting Mountain Lion, then he was lying to you (or being more civil, maybe he just didn't know like I did). If you bought the used machine from Amazon Sellers or from eBay, then you have recourse through the feedback system or through PayPal. If you bought it any other way, you're on your own.

You will have to do some leg-work yourself. You will probably want to use DOM to parse and manipulate your XML data. Xerces (xml.apache.org) is a good open source parser. There are extensive examples on their site.

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

How can I resize and reposition the Date Created window for All windows?

When setting view options for a finder window set to list view, I cannot get column resizing or positioning to hold. When making those changes, the option for "All Windows" automatically shifts to "This window only" and it then does not hold.
