How to trace the database table for a structure

hi
am trying to find the database table for a structure unfortunately am failing to use the sql tracer any one know howelse i can do that the structure name is 'busbankcheck' and 'bus000flds'.

1) U can go to tcode sldb and give ur structure name or if u can find which logical database it is from u can get the tables of the structure....
Suppose it is of HR it may be like pnp logical database and then to sldb and give pnp and u can get all the table of that....
2)If u know which fields u want from the stucture....then go to table DD03L and give ur fields name and it iwll bring where all tables this field is avaialble and u can find them......
3) the st05 sql trace can help u.....

Hi,
when you press F1 it will give the necessary information
but some times it may give the structure names also
those structures are being used by the back end module pool
programm
so every time we can get the exact information about the
data type or length
but not sure that every time we get the exact database table name
and field name
according to me, if i dont know where some field are getting stored in
database ( if the field name and table is structure )
then i will ask my functional consultant ...

Thanks for your response. It is PM related. When I run a T Code - IK18, the field Total Counter Reading field appears. I am looking for that particular fields actual table name and field name. I think I have found it in IMGR table. Now I want to get IMRG-READG in my report, but there is no common fields in neither MKPF or MSEG table. How to Read the internal table for the data download from the spool

HI all,
I have one issue regarding the spool ,we are getting the correct output as per requirement of user but when we send the same to the user in pdf format they did notget the same.
they are telling that the due date is missing from the pdf.
Please advice me how to track the internal table for the spool data converted intopdf in a readable format.
the FM used for the above task is :
call function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'

How to transport the DATABASE TABLE into the Test system ?

Hi Experts,
I am working on BI7, I had created Database table in BDV system using SE11. Tech_name is ZGLACC_TEMP. I had activated it. I had used this database table for the purpose of writing the start routine in the transformation. while I am transporting the transformations to the test system, It is showing as syntax error in ABAP program,
In BDV system there are no syntax errors. it is working fine,
So now I have to transport the database table to test system so that I can transport the transformations into Test system without any error.
Kindly anyone can give the answer , it will be appreciate and points will be assigned.

Hi Sekhar,
Go to SE11, go into the change mode of your table and change the Object Directory entry (Goto -> Object Directory Entry) to some valid package (other than $tmp). Then it will ask for a transport request. Give a transport request and then I believe you know what to do with that transport.
Another thing to keep in mind ... transport all the data elements and domains you have created for this table. Change their Object Directory Entry and assign them to the same transport request.

        I have the filed name f1.
Now I want to know the check table of this field programatically and if this field has a configuration table then I need that table also.
eg: if werks is the field the Master         Table is : MARC
                                and Configuration Table is : T001W.
Is this possible first of all programatically ?
If yes can anyone help me out ?

1. I don't know the master table for the field werks
A field is never independent. It is always linked to a table,
otherwise the information is only half.
2. So incase if we do not know the tablename,
   its best to query the table DD03L with WERKS,
and filer out CHECKTABLE with *,
and take any one record.

For a given Sales Document number, there are several conditions.
How can i extract all the conditions for a given sales document?
I am coding a report for this. In which database table can i get the condition between sales document number & different conditions attached to it?

The information in webcenter content, such as meta data fields, users, security groups etc are stored in
database tables like- Revisions, SecurityGroups, Users, DocType etc..
Can we access this tables from an adf application or any webcenter application..
If yes, then what can be the approach for that..??
Another things, how can we create custom tables just like the predefined tables...??

Can we access this tables from an adf application or any webcenter application.Yes, you can - like to any other existing database. But I would strongly discourage you from any, but read-only access, or you can easily end up with inconsistent data.
If yes, then what can be the approach for that..??Just create a database connection and define in your model what tables you want to access.
Another things, how can we create custom tables just like the predefined tables...
Actually, WebCenter Content provides functionality of creation of custom tables (see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/doc.1111/e10978/c04_metadata.htm#autoId2 ) and these are probably the only good candidates for read-write access. See further in the manual what use cases are supported. Of course, you could do this even externally, but rather than Data Definition Language, I'd use services (if there are some).

1. Employee table where EMpNo field would be included as an attribute. Other fields would be EmployeeName,Designation, ...
It will have Primary Key as EmpID
2. QualificationType table with QualificationCategoryID and QualificationCategory with values Highest Qualification Post Graduate etc
QualificationCategoryID is the primary key
3. QUalificationTypeAttributes tables with fields as QUalificationTypeAttributeID,QUalificationTypeAttributeName
QUalificationTypeAttributeID is primary key
and QUalificationTypeAttributeName will have values Institute Name, Qualification Category etc
4. EmpQualificationTypeValues table with fields
QUalificationTypeValueID, QUalificationTypeAttributeID , QualificationCategoryID , EmpID, Value

DD02L Table contains the SAP Tables.
DD02T Table contains the SAP Table Texts.
DD01L Table contains the Domains
DD01T Table contains the Domain Texts.
DD03L Table contains the Table Fields.
DD03T Table contains the Table Field Texts. (Language Dependent)
DD04L Table contains the Data Elements.
DD04T Table contains the Data Element Texts.
DD05s Table contains the Foreign Key Fields
last words with L and T only. L->Database Fetch T-> Text
For ur question use table DD03L or DD03T.

but there is one sentence which is not added by me, could anyone tell me how to find the reason why the sentence in my version.

Not all the 3 TRs
Goto SE03, Click on Find Requests under Requests/Tasks section.
Give all the 3 requests names in Requests/Tasks, Give User name as *
See any sub tasks are there in the above requests by double clicking on each request.
Or
Goto SE03
Click on Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks under Objects in Requests
Select the first entry R3TR PROG give the program name.
In below Request/Task Selection , check the status Released.
See what all Requests are displayed, who are all the persons who changed them.

But when I use rsa3 to do test it, nothing found. I try to initialize the setup table, but I can not find it under SBIW.

Here is LO Cockpit Step By Step
LO EXTRACTION
- Go to Transaction LBWE (LO Customizing Cockpit)
1). Select Logistics Application
       SD Sales BW
            Extract Structures
2). Select the desired Extract Structure and deactivate it first.
3). Give the Transport Request number and continue
4). Click on `Maintenance' to maintain such Extract Structure
       Select the fields of your choice and continue
             Maintain DataSource if needed
5). Activate the extract structure
6). Give the Transport Request number and continue
- Next step is to Delete the setup tables
7). Go to T-Code SBIW
8). Select Business Information Warehouse
i. Setting for Application-Specific Datasources
ii. Logistics
iii. Managing Extract Structures
iv. Initialization
v. Delete the content of Setup tables (T-Code LBWG)
vi. Select the application (01 u2013 Sales & Distribution) and Execute
- Now, Fill the Setup tables
9). Select Business Information Warehouse

iii. Managing Extract Structures
iv. Initialization
v. Filling the Setup tables
vi. Application-Specific Setup of statistical data

        Specify a Run Name and time and Date (put future date)
             Execute
- Check the data in Setup tables at RSA3
- Replicate the DataSource
Use of setup tables:
You should fill the setup table in the R/3 system and extract the data to BW - the setup tables is in SBIW - after that you can do delta extractions by initialize the extractor.
Full loads are always taken from the setup tables

now after pressing the save button:
just read teh two attributes to field1, field2 using code wizard. then
<db name>-<fieldname1> = <field1>.
<db name>-<fieldname2> = <field2>.
insert <dbname>.
