How to transfer music from old pc (that's not on itunes), onto ipod/new pc itunes account?

Just bought my first ipod. All my music I need to put onto it is on my parent's pc (it is not in itunes, just as normal music files (had old sony mp3 that has broken)), BUT I will be using my own pc for my itunes account. How do I do this without wiping the ipod/etc? thanks

Use a Flash Drive/Portable HD/CD/DVD to transfer the mp3 files to your PC. Then import them into itunes.

I am new with IPad mini, and have issues with music on device:
A) I wonder whether I can transfer music from PC to device (A 1432) and
B) I have problems 'approaching' iTunes Store app because it shows on screen interface for iTunes U app (which I downloaded previously and deleted it in the meantime because of this problems)...cannot shut it down because there is no way to exit this mode.
hope someone will help so I can finally have some music on device.

I did manage to solve problem of music transfer iPad mini-PC, however I didn't succeed in approaching iTunes Store and there is nothing in the manual about it.
When I open application I have iTunes U interface and cannot move anywhere but close app. I did try to re -enter pass and ID in iTunes Store app settings but nothing changed.
Does anyone have any idea what to do in order to have approach to ITunes Store.

Deleting music from my phone that is not in iTunes library

How do I delete songs off of my iPhone that is not in my iTunes library/ICloud and all that mumbo jumbo? This is infuriating! I deselected anything that has to do with music in my iTunes while my phone is connected to just simply wipe out all my music from my phone and for some reason the Summary part says I have 13 songs on my phone still but theres actually 39 songs on my phone that just won't GO AWAY! Itunes match is off as well.

Thanks for the question. You can remove a song from your device by doing the following:
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

If you have iOS 7, this will delete the song from local storage, but the song will still appear with a cloud symbol in the Music app, as you may have noticed. To hide the iTunes in the Cloud purchases, navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store, and disable "Show All: Music".

I just upgraded my drive (same computer) and installed leopard. My older drive has my imported and purchased music on it. Running under Tiger. I can access the drive with a remote kit, so all files from the old drive are still accessable.
how and what do I need to do to transfer all my music library and purchased music/authorizations to the new hard drive?

I've tried doing that, and had an odd result. All of the names of the songs are added to my library, but when I attempt to listen to well over half of them, I get an error message:
"The song "__" could not be used because it could not be found. Would you like to locate it"
And indeed, the only music that shows up in the finder window are songs that will play. The very newest music seems to play, including things purchased from iTunes. Tech support said they can't help with the issue because of copyright concerns, but I just don't want to put 5 crates full of CDs into my computer one by one!
Any thoughts?

I replaced the iTunes folder on the new one with the iTunes folder from the old one but the music doesn't show up in the library. If I go to the iTunes music folder and click on a song it gets added to the new library, but I have 4000 songs. My admin user name is the same on both computers. What's the secret?

More information would help. The simplest answer is drag the files from the old drive to the iTunes window when you have the application open, or the Automatically Add To iTunes folder. If you mean the whole library that is a different answer.
