How to transfer user defined accounting fields from SRM to ECC ?

Hi!
We are running SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0 with classic scenario.
We have defined Business entity filed account assignment tab in SRM SHC.
New fields are also defined in tables BBP_C_ACC_F and in BBP_C_ACCFD and added in the structure also INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF. New fields are also defined in srpo accounting.
In R/3 the same field is already defined as it is standard one.
When I create PR or PO i entered the Business entity for the account assignment R i.e real estate.
However, when I order my shopping cart with values in new fields, the values are not transferred into backend.
Standard fields transfer nicely, but the user defined fields dont transfer.
Can any please let me know what we have to do for these user defined values to transfer to back end. We need to implement any BADI ?

We are running SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0 with classic scenario
We have defined some accounting fields in SRM into structure BBP_PDS_ACC in an
include INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF. New fields are also defined in tables BBP_C_ACC_F
and in BBP_C_ACCFD. New fields are also defined in srpo accounting.
In ECC same fields are defind in include CI_COBL.
When I create manual reservation in ECC using transaction MB21, I can use new fields properly
and they are restored in table RKPF - reservation header level just like cost center.
However, when I order my shopping cart with values in new fields, the values are not transferred into backend. Standard fields like cost center transfer nicely, but non of the user defined fields do that.
We have BADi BBP_CREATE_BE_RS_NEW active with manual ACCT_MAN indicator on and
movement allowed indicator on. In BADi wehave managed to to pass value from structure
IS_SC_DOCUMENT-account to structure cs_rs1_document-is_rs_header, but still not getting values to the backend. Is there some mapping done after BADi or how its done?

Sending Custom fields from SRM to ECC through BAPI

I am looking for a step by step instructions on how to send my data i.e Start date and end date at ITEM :LEVEL for limit items from SRM to ECC

To change User defined Value field from Amount to Quantity in COPA

I have created a created a User defined Characteristics VV930 - Number of labor hours. While creating, i wrongly assigned the chategory Amount instead of Quantity.
Now when i am trying to change it is giving me errors.
Also it is not allowing to delete and recreate the new VV930 with category as Quatity.
No data is posted in COPA.

1. Remove it from your COPA data structure in KEA0... Shift it from Left to right in data structure screen... Then try to delete it
2. Else, reserve this Value Field for future use and change the name as of now to XXXXXX...Create a new Qty Field for your use now.

How to delete User-Agent header field from http request ?

Hi,
I'm currently using HttpUrlConnection to create a HTTP 1.1 POST client, and I wish to remove the User-Agent field from my request.
However, java seems to set this field to "java.1.4.2" if none is provided.
I have found methods to modify the User-Agent ( "setRequestProperty()" and system property "http.agent" ) but none to delete it.
Is there a way to remove this header from the request ?
This field is said as "should be implemented" but is not required in rfc2616(http1.1), so I'm a bit surprised that I can't remove it in the java HttpUrlConnection...

You can always go around java.net.HttpUrlConnection with your own subclass of UrlConnection or simply a socket. You may lose some functionality, for example with handling binary content, but it may still be a solution.
(But are you saying that the server requires that there's no user-agent header? That's not a case of incompatibility, it's a bug. Scrap the server, and get one that works.
It seems a lot more likely that the server just have strict ideas of what user agents it wants to talk to. Then instead of removing the header, you want to find out what values the server will expect.)

Passing CUF fields from SRM to ECC 6.0 and PO in Held status

We are upgarding from SRM 5.0 to SRM 5.5 ( New system ) and 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
We have implemented classic scenario. All the codes (BADIs) have been copied to the new systems. We are facing two issues here
1. CUF fields are not being passed to ECC 6.0
2. PO in ECC 6.0 is in held status.
Regarding issue No.1, the CUF coding is in BADI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK and I hope I dont have to do anything at R/3 end as it will be taken care of.

#1: shows the new field "foo" in the template
#2: shows "foo" in the list of names
#3: shows "foo" while editing a new card

Classic Scenario- Service Item custom field transfer from SRM to ECC

Hello Experts,
I was looking for a way to transfer custom fields from SRM to ECC(PR/PO) for service items.I am on SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.0 ehp 5.
The same custom fields are getting transferred for Material item using the BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW.
But the same badi doesnt work for service item transfer.
I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

You can use the Function Module SPOOL_RQ_CREATE with the parameters as bellow and debug.
REQNO = SC number
REQUIS_NUMBER = as Purchase Req no ( from backend )
IV_BE_LOGSYS = backend logical system.
System will go through the same path as SC bridging to PR.

How to map user-defined fields in XML communication on SRM site

We use the External sourcing scenario and we transfer requirements from ERP in SRM through XI (PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_In)
We should transfer the user-defined fields, but we can not map it in SRM site.
We have enhanced enterprise service in XI, have realized BADI PUR_SE_PRERPSOURCINGRQCO_ASYN on ERP site.
I see the XML message with ours z-fields in tr. SXI_MONITOR (into SRM), but I can not find it in BBP_PDISC.
We try to use BADI BBP_SAPXML1_IN_BADI (there is no method for SC), and BADI /SAPSRM/BD_SOA_MAPPING (z-fields is empty)
Someone can tell how to map user-defined field for SC?

We have enhanced standard service in a new enhancement name space and defined own enhancement elements in our namespaces. Then these enhancement elements refered to the SAP standard Enterprise Service.
But In our new interfaces were different XML namespaces
When we have correct an error we could use the next BADI
on ERP site: PUR_SE_PRERPSOURCINGRQCO_ASYN
on SRM site: /SAPSRM/BD_SOA_MAPPING

How to use user-defined packages in JAX-RPC web service

I am trying to use Object of my class located in my package in jax-rpc webservice,the code is

Temp is located in Hello package,I have jar the Hello package as Hello.jar and has set its classpath in targets.xml of Ant tool.
The code compiles well and service is deployed successfully,but when i try to call the service from the client its gives me following error.

Please guide me in doing that.

I don't know if your error is about a missing class from your custom package, ... what track did you followed to say that?
To use your package in the implementation of you web service, you should only follow the rules of making a web application: put your package jar in your \lib directory inside WEB-INF/ or your package classes unjared in classes (also in WEB-INF/).
As I already said, I have doubts that your error should be originated from a missing class from your package, but:
-try to see the logs (errors?) when you deploy your web service that could give a hint about the problem.
-try to see if you can access your endpoint through your browser to see if there is a online status
-display your config/WSDL file, and the steps you did to build your web service.
