How to transport changes made in KSAZ

Hi All,
I want to move changes I made in KSAZ setting through TR. When I am saving after making changes, system is not asking for TR but directly saving it.
If anyone can help me out to put the changes in Transport.

Thanks for your reply, but I didn't get anywhere in OKE7 & OKE8 to include the credit records I made in KSAZ in a Transport.

How to Transport changes made to tool Area

Hi
According to my requirment
i had to remove a Portal Search option from Tool Area.
My requirment is to removie it from the theme as we don't need it
I performed the following
Go to Content Administration
Portal Content--> Content Provided by SAP->End User Content-> Standar Portal Users
From Default frame work page.Open the same and untick the Visible Check box beside tool area iView in the frame work page.
Now how can i transport these changes from DEV Portal to QUA Portal

You can transpor the pcd content using
Import/export options in SystemAdministration->Transport
But I am afraid that you cannot transport the standard pcd content as its id starts with sap.com.
Best of doing is Don't do any changes to the standard default framework page
Instead of that... you duplicate it and change the id of the framework page then export it
and import in the target portal as said above.
Use that imported frameworkpage in your dekstop.

We have make changes to Workflow template via tcode PFTC_CHG (Change Task), with workflow builder screen, we make changes on the standard task, work item text etc, save the changes to workflow template WS90000XXX. However the changes we make is not save under a Transport Request number.
How to make the changes on workflow template to save under a transport request and transport it to other client. ?

Hi Eric,
All development and customization of workflwo are saved in a transport request.
If while making the changes it did not prompt you for a TR then check the TR in whcih the task was created.
To port TRs follow the below procedure:
1. Go to t-code SCC1.
2. Select the transport request number and enter the source system (client)
3. Click on 'Including Request Subtasks.
4. Click on button 'Start immediately'
This would port the TR.
Please note to port workbench TRs before the customizing TRs.

How to transport changes made to Who's who program SAPMPZ01C

We made changes to the output fields details (displayed in Who's who search) for all countries. However there are no options to transport these changes from Development to QE or production. Please let me know if you know of any trick to transport these changes to PE.

However sevares consultant do this configuration MANUALLY in EACH client and EACH system.

This will come after the data was EDITTED and when SAVE was clicked by user in output scren.
Here now in the final internal table(ITAB) you can find the data changed in EDIT mode.
After this you can do manipulation what ever you want.

How to view changes made to Program code in PRD?

Hi all,
I'm currently auditing SAP landscape management and noted the following in the PRD environment:
1. table logging is disabled (transaction SM31)
2. profile logging is disabled
3. transaction SM20 doesn't give anything
4. don't have access to changes with SECR transaction.
My question is how can I have a population of changes made directly in program codes on PRD? (without going trhough the transport manager).
SAP R/3 release: 4.5B

Hi Rainatou,
Change logs are disabled in PRD considering the database load and performance.
The changes to program code can be better viewed in DEV by displaying the program,Utilities,Version management.
If you want to compare to code in DEV and PROD you can use split screen editor (SE39).

In ABAP there is no chance to check the version managment of the script , the better option to get this is to develop a small tool as follows:-
Every time u release the request of a script or layout just import that layout with (layoutname_request) no in application server. and using this RSTXFCOM program u can check transported one with existing.
Note: Everytime while checking transported one make it a local layout in RSTXFCOM we can check two layout differences.

How to track changes made in the ERD in oracle designer

I want to track all changes made in my ERD in oracle 10g designer. Please suggest how to achieve it.
use case: An ERD was approved in design phase. Few changes were made by development team and now in Implementation phase I need to track what all changes were made from say 3-Jan-12 to 3-Mar-2012

Designer Version is 10.1.2.0.2.
1. In my project versioning of ER is not being used so ER Version diff is not an option for me.
2. In Reports, there are options for getting all entities, attributes which are created/modified in a period. But it seems it is not giving me correct results.

Since versioning if off, there is no way to track changes.
You can get a rough overview of possible changes by looking at the audit attributes (date created, date modified) in the properties palette, but that is already mentioned in your point 2.
Basically, developers should comment what they added/modified.

There are two sources for that:
The "Solution Browser" (http://solutionbrowser.erp.sap.fmpmedia.com/) which lists the differences between source and destination release and the release notes (http://service.sap.com/releasenotes). You'd need to read here all those from 4.6 to ERP 6.0 (so 4.7, ECC 5.0 and ERP 6.0) to find out the behaviour changes.

Do I have to create an Object containing the changed table? Do the chnages take effect in the actual Context node so that I just have to use this?

Hi,
In the IMG, payment terms, , select the payment terms you want to transport, go to menu-- click on transport --then u will get include in request and delete from request, click on include in request, then u will get the request creation pop up, then create a new request, release and then transport the request.

Transport changes made to company code address (ox02)

Hello All,
We are making the changes to the company code address in OX02 in development online client and transporting the request generated while saving to the quality client in the same system.
However, after importing the request successfully, we don't see any changes made in target client.
Kindly suggest what could be the mistake here.

Once we come to the main screen and click on Save button, it automatically asks for a transport request. I don't understand why we need to include in request mannually. Becuase, this is may not be acceptable to my customer until we show some wirtten procedure on this from SAP. Can you give me where I can find this so that I can proceed further?
