How to unassign(delete assign) Organization Unit to User?

How to <b>Unassign Organization Unit to User</b>? Is there any furnction module to do this ? <b>What are the function modules to update org unit of the user & to update the attributes of the user</b>? Update org unit means we have to delete & recreate org unit or else directly to update org unit of User any function module existed? Please help me out asap. Thanks in advance.

I am developing a function module. In that one I have to write the code for the below case.
Suppose user was assigned to 'XYZ' organization unit. Now I want to change his organization unit as 'ABC'. How to handle this programetically? Later I have to update that user attributes. I think now u understand my requirement. Please help me out.

How to Configure Overview of Organizational Units iView in MSS 5.0/6.0

Hi all,
Does anyone have any idea on how to configure the "Overview of Organizational Units" iView in MSS to work with the HR backend?
When I click on the Organizational Unit in the iView, it does not link me to a new page and no Organizational Unit overview pops out.
Any form of help or hints is deeply appreciated.

Hi Leong Ko,
In order for this to work, first and foremost your userid has to be linked to some "manager" employee of your choice in infotype 105, subtype 0001.
Secondly, the position that this "manager" employee is holding has to be assigned to one organisational unit (technically relationship A003, but you can do this from transaction PPOME).
Thirdly, the position in question has to be marked as "chief position" (in technical terms relationship A012-manages between the position and the org. unit to which it belongs). This can also be done from transaction PPOME.
If the organisational unit to which the position belongs has, in turn, subordinate org. units, these will also be shown in the Iview.
Of course you will have to be logged on to the portal with your userid (the one that you assigned to the employee in infotype 105) for this to work. It will not work if you are just testing the Iview without being logged on.

You will have to delimit the Org Unit to a New End Date...to disallow using of this Org Unit...
To do so, Run the TCode RE_RHGRENZ4
Enter the following values in the Report:
Plan Version - 01
Object Type - O
Object ID - XXXXXXXX
Reporting Period - All
New End Date - 31.12.2009
Infotype Selection - Leave it blank as it will delimit all the Infotypes that were maintained for this Org Unit...and will delimit to the new date..
Existing End Date - 31.12.9999
Checkmark the following:
Delete records with start date after delimit date
Lock Object
Display Delimited Objects

Hi,
As noted above, there are several methods to delete an object, but please be careful - do your really want to delete this Org Unit? If anyone has ever been assigned to it - you do not want to delete it. You want to delimit it if it is not longer needed. This way you will maintain the history of the persons who had been assigned to that Org Unit. Please use delete only if no one has ever been assigned to that Organization.
To delimit - PO10 - Enter your Org Unit ID, select the Object infotype (IT1000) and the delimit icon. This will delimit all relationships with other objects.

How to drive sales order Organizational Unit to equal the Sales Office

CRM 7.0, sales order is using org rule ORGMAN_23 which has FM CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_11
The sales order finds the sales org, dist channel, division, sales office, and sales group but the Organizational Unit always matches the sales group.
Will any of the delivered FM's used in PFAC
CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_1
CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_2
CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_3 ......
return the results I desire? or will we need to copy and modify one of these FM's.

You need to adjust your org structure in ppoma_crm.
Currently the org unit which is mapped to an ECC sales group holds the attributes that mapped to the BP's sales area data.
(If you are using rule ORGMAN_23).
Please create an org unit, which is not mapped to the sales group, with the desired attributes, then assign the BP to this org unit.

- read EE's current org unit
- use i.e. FM HRCM_ORGUNIT_MANAGER_GET passing it as objid and otype = 'O' .
You will get this org unit Manager.
Note!
There are plenty of functions you can use to achieve the same. The above is just an example.

How do I delete one of two admin users in Mountain Lion?

I have just migrated data from my iMac (Snow Leopard) to a new Macbook Pro (10.8). When setting up the computer at the Apple store, I chose my name and surname to set the computer (icon image is an eagle from the Apple library).
When I then migrated the data (via external backup and using migration assistant) to the new Macbook, I was prompted to rename the user account ("the user account that you are transferring has the same name as an existing account on your computer. you can't have two user accounts with same name on your computer"). So I renamed the account differently.
All my data has migrated correctly, including my emails. But I cannot see my personal icon in my mailboxes in Mail, I still see the image of the eagle. I went into system preferences and wanted to delete the original admin user account (the one with the eagle image) but it is greyed out and I cannot delete it.
What is happening exactly? Why do I see the icon of the other admin user account in my mail and not the one I used on my old iMac. How can I delete this user account? Is there a particular reason why I couldn't delete this account?

I'm assuming you want to synchronize Active Directory with either another LDAP directory or another repoisitory such as a relational database or a flat file.
If you just want to export or import objects from Active Directory using an industry standard interchange format, you may want to investigate the use of LDAP Data Interchange Format (LDIF). The tool included with Active Directory to import and export LDIF files is called LDIFDE.EXE
You may want to investigate directory synchronization products such as Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager. (refer to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/ida-identity-lifecycle-management.aspx)

How can i delete keychain data for all users on my Mac Server?

We have 2 Mac servers on our windows network and user passwords change every 30 days to keep up with security. How can i stop keychain asking for the users old passwords or get it to update with the change of password?

First you have to create a new folder or 2/3, om My Mac... Mail>Mailbox>New Mailbox...> Loacation>On My Mac.
Highlight the eMails & drag to the new box(es), if IMAP Mail will try downlodaing them again.
If POP & Remove fron Server when downloaded it won't.
Quit Mail after the move, log into gMail Webmail via a browser & delete what you wish.
PS. Even though you delete everything in gMail, google keeps copies for themselves & the NSA, just you cannot see them.

By assign, we mean in SAP configuration what is the sales route authorized by the company. This is a very important step of a company's set-up.
In most situation, Plant may be the same as Company code or Sales Org. In some situation, there may be 2 plants to assign to the same sales area.
Plant is a location where material stock is kept and could, for example represent a production facility in the system.
MM is primarily concerned with the material flow. From a MM point of view, a plant is, above all, a location where material stock is kept.
In production, a plant can represent a manufacturing facility.
In Sales and Distribution, a plant represents the location from which materials are distributed and services are provided and corresponds to a distribution center, The relevant stocks are kept here.
The plant has a central function in SD:
- To use the SD functions in system, you need at least one plant.
- Each plant is uniquely assiged to a company code.
- A plant can be assigned to serveral combinations of sales org/distribution channles, and vice versa.
- The plant is essential for determining the shipping point.

How to link Finance sales organization and logistic sales organization ?

In VA02, I defined BP05 for sales organization, and two items : the first one in the BP01 plant and the second one in the BP02 plant.
The sale order works and I am trying to delivery two products from two differents plant in the same document.
Here the message No VL415 : "Plant BP01 has deviating sales area data"
"In a delivery with internal offsetting, the system determined during the
plant check that the plant has different sales area data from the header
sales area data determined for internal offsetting."
How can I link finance and logical sales organization ?

There is no link between Finance sales organization and logistic sales organization
Look at the following points in spro for the intercompany billing:
Sales and Distribution > Billing > Intercompany Billing > Assign Organizational Units By Plant
Sales and Distribution > Billing > Intercompany Billing > Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization
