How to update Flash Builder 4.6 Premium from Master Collection CS6

I want to update from Flash Builder 4.6 Premium to Flash Builder 4.7 Premium. But I have no seperate Serial number for this product. Only for the complete Master Collection CS6.

There are no updates for Beta 2.

How to update Flash Builder 4 beta 2 so that it remains compatible with snapshots?

I have Flash Builder 4 beta 2 STANDALONE installed on my Mac (MacOSX 10.6) and I just upgraded my Flex SDK to the latest stable snapshot (4.0.0.13875). Now it seems that the visual designer is not very happy with this upgrade.
And in "Using Gumbo builds with Flex Builder" (http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Using+Gumbo+Builds+in+Flex+Builder) it is said that "Please note that the release of a milestone build will usually have an associated automatic update to Flex Builder that will include all relevant files."
The question is how do I get that automatic update? I've tried Help/Software Updates/Find and install.../Updates for existing features, but it didn't find any updates. Any idea how I can revive my Design mode?

Why I can't install Flash Builder 4.6 with a Master Collection Serial Number?

Hi all,
downloaded Flash builder 4.6, i had a Master collection 5.5 suite which includes (obviously) Flash Builder 4.5,1.
I found that I can’t install the 4.6 version with the serial number of the Master Collection.
The Adobe support told me thet I can’t install the single packet but I can upgrade the entire suite of (probably) six months when the 6.0 version will becomes available.
I feel cheated.
I spent a lot of money to buy and upgrade the entire suite and now I can’t upgrade Flash Builder only.
Can you help me?
If there is not a solution I think I'll nerver upgrade the suite anymore, I'will port all of my mobile code in Objective-C and "tanti saluti".

Now, this is how I activated the FB 4.6, using theMaster Collection CS 5.5 serial number:
1.- Uninstalled Flash Builder 4.5 from the MC (Select the 'Delete preferencies'- checkbox).
2.- Deleted and cleaned all program's cache with CCleaner.
3.- Installed Flash Builder 4.6 in TRIAL MODE, and -IMPORTANT!- Be sure that you are selecting the SAME LANGUAGE on wich you installed your Master Collection!!
(I had some troubles because I didn't remember that I installed the MC with "Español", and I tried to install FB 4.6 in "Español (Latinoamerica)").
4.- After a reboot of my PC, I opened Flash Builder 4.6.
5.- It asked me for a serial number, I had to wrote down my Master Collection's serial number.
6.- I was happy because my FB 4.6 serial number was accepted, (after three unsuccesful attempts because of the wrong language installation).
So, everything is about languages.
In the last case, maybe you should uninstall your entire Master Collection (including Flash Builder 4.5) and then reinstall it (without FB 4.5). Then install FB 4.6.
Yep, this is a little annoying, but now I can use the Flash Builder 4.6. It worth the work.
Let us now if you could install your FB 4.6 succesfuly.

I purchased Flash Builder 4.7 Premium for Mac, but the DOWNLOAD section says "Not applicable". So how do I get my download?

Re-start Eclipse as recommended.
I obtained it from Adobe and installed it using the Help > Install software option, but without unzipping it. Maybe that was it.
Now I've done a clean installation and it works perfect. I did it with administrator permissions, don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I read it somewhere and did so just in case!

Hi,
Where can I find offline installer for Flash Builder 4.7 Premium. I have to backup all application installers in my company (regarding web development) and I can't find it anywhere on adobe.com. Is there any chance to get installer after downloading it via Adobe Creative Cloud app or is there direct link?

Problem signing application to BlackBerry from Flash builder 4.6 premium

First, i have uninstalled older flash builder versions, and i have installed Flash builder 4.6 premium.
After, I have installed the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK for Adobe AIR.
Next, I have updated the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK plug-in.
But, my problem is using the deployment setup wizard.
I tried with the BlackBerry Tablet Simulator started, but when I click "Run the BlackBerry Tablet OS Deployment Setup Wizard" to configure your development environment, the wizard is not showing.
I would like generate my application, ".bar" file, signed with the reals certificates of BlackBerry. But i don´t know what is the problem.
Somebody have tested if this wizard is working to Flash builder 4.6.
Furthermore, i have tried to setting the reals certificates of BlackBerry, with the preferences window:
Flash Builder > Preferences > Flash Builder > Target Platforms > BlackBerry Tablet OS > Signing.
Such as at this url:

But when i click Register button, the dialog is not showing.

I have found the problem
BlackBerry Tablet OS search a path that don´t exist in my spanish Windows X.
As my system is at spanish, BlackBerry Tablet OS installer create this path:
%HOMEPATH%\Configuraci¾n local\Datos de programa\Research In Motion
To resolve the problem, you must to create the path in english and copy the content of spanish path:
%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application Data\Research In Motion

Cannot apply Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license

We purchased Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license. When we entered the new key and then the original 4.0 Premium license key, it said "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try again.". From the License Certificate paperwork we have, it does show the serial number is for Flash Builder 4.0 Premium. Could anyone help?

Maximum Activations Exceeded CS6 Master Collection and Flash Builder 4.7 Premium

I have reinstalled my OS on my MacBook Pro without deactivating my CS6 and Flash Builder programs and now I cannot reactivate them. I have serials for Master Collection 5.5 and 6, as well as Flash Builder 4.7 Premium. How can I get the old activations removed from my account?

Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade

Hi,
I have been using my FB 4.7 Standard Edition for more than a year and now I would like to upgrade to FB 4.7 Premium Edition. I checked on your website and there was no option to Upgrade from 4.7 Standard Edition to Premium. If I select "I own FB 4.5 Standard", the price I need to buy is $499 which is way to expensive for an upgrade (while FB 4.7 Premium Edition only costs about $600).
Can you please confirm how I can upgrade my current version to Premium version?

I have flash builder 4.5 premium and want to know if there is an extension / plugin to add the php functions or do I have to buy the Flash Builder 4.5 premium for php version?

No I have the Flash Builder 4.5 for PHP version and I am happy to pay for what ever help i need. but I am looking for a component to emable me to build a specific project.
The project I want to build is a schedule. I looked at an IBM scheduler http://visunetdemos.demos.ibm.com/ganttdemos/humanresources/humanresources.html
This IMB Scheduler does everything i am looking for but is way over kill. My Project is much simpler. So paying $1000 for this would be excessive.

Flash Builder 4.6 Premium License downgrades to Standard License

I've installed the Flash Builder 4.6. When I start it in demo mode, I get the premium version of Flash Builder (because that is the version I've installed). When I enter a license key that is for a premium version of Flash Builder it gets downgraded to the standard edition. The key is definitly for a premium version, I've checked that at the IT support, and one of my co-workers (we have multi-user license) uses the key for the premium version too.
A side note: I have prevouisly installed Flash Builder 4.6 Premium but I had to uninstall it because it didn't work anymore. I have this license problem with the re-installation of Flash Builder.
Do you have any ideas what is wrong?

I am seeing a similar problem too...
I was using Flash Builder 4.6 on a FB 4.5 Premium serial number.
Upon upgrading to FB 4.7, which required me to enter the new FB 4.7 serial number I was sent, along with my old FB 4.5 serial number in order to qualify for the upgrade, FB 4.7 is now running in standard mode according to the splash screen. Additional trying to use the Run -> Profile menu does not work, it tells me to go learn about buying premium upgrade.
According to http://www.adobe.com/products/flash-builder/buying-guide.displayTab2.html FB 4.5 premium, or 4.6 premium, are supposed to upgrade to FB 4.7 premium at no charge.

Server settings for remote Server in Flash Builder 4.5 Premium

Has anyone figured this out? Seems like everyone is talking about FlashBuilder that comes with PHP and that doesn't help me. So I'm still having trouble moving my mobile app to a remote server and I have FlashBuilder 4.5 Premium without PHP.
I have created a PHP project outside of Flash Builder and then I have connected to it using the Data/Service tab, but then it ask for the server information and that is where I'm having the issues.
It works create with the setting like this.
MAC:
Server Options
Web Root: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs
Root URL: http://localhost/
But when you try to export a release build or just like to test it, and insert your server settings.
Server Options
Web Root: /home/username/domain_name/
Root URL: http://mydomain.com
It doesn't Validate which in turn won't let the project work. Also it would be nice to put the remote server in there for testing instead of just for release builds. Any one have an answer. Every tutorial or explanation shows localhost.

$ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS']; is given an error.
I did this:
$_SERVER['HTTPS'] = 'off';
$ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS'];
So add this line....
And it works...

Yes. I have Flash Builder 4.6 and 4.7 running in different Eclipse Luna installs.

On Mac, I had to have the 32bit version of Luna for 4.6, and the 64bit version of Luna for 4.7 (and I recently started using 4.7 with Eclipse Mars).
For 4.6 you need to first download Eclipse 3.6 and install the Flash Builder 4.6 plugin to that Eclipse install. For 4.7 you need to download Eclipse 3.7 and install the plugin to that Eclipse install. Once it's installed in the 3.x version, you can then copy the fb*.link files from the Eclipse 3.x dropins folders into your Eclipse Luna's dropin folder.
There is an issue where something in Flash Builder 4.7 won't work right when using it as a plugin, not sure but it might be something with building ANEs.

以前の1.5のバージョンではzipで落とせたのでアーカイブで読み込めたのですが、2.1ではdmg形式のため読み込めませんでした。
また、解凍したpkgも読み込めませんし、pkgをコマンドで展開することもできませんでした。
[ 操作の詳細 ]
　1. Extension Builder 2.1をダウンロード。
　2. dmgを解凍　→　pkgファイルができる。
　3. pkgファイルをダブルクリック　→　インストーラが起動してインストールが完了する。
上記の手順でインストールが完了しますが、どこにインストールされたかわかりませんし、プラグインはインストールされていませんでした。
ご教示お願い致します。

I think I figured out the issue. By default, the plug-in installer creates the link file for the plug-in in the dropins folder as 600, so Eclipse can't read it:
-rw------- root staff fb-4_6-plugin-encoded.link
sudo chmod 644 fb-4_6-plugin-encoded.link fixed it for me.
