How to upload the Form 16 with digital signature to ESS?

Hi Experts,
We are not using .pfx format for digital signature. For this reason we download Form-16’s from SAP & get it signed by using 3rd party tool. Now we want the form 16 to upload in ESS. Please let me know the process to upload Form 16 to ESS.

We have configured ads and implementing form 16 with digital signature,we have done the all configuration as per SAP Guide and dezso blogs,but when generating the form 16 with digital signature its giving
"Adobe reader could not open _xxxxx.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or corrupted,
we have done the same configuration in dev its working fine and prd its not working,request you to please provide the solution for the same.
as per some check list i have cheked ads_https is working fine,but when executing the report fp_pdf_test_00 with rfc ads_https its asking for user name and password,we have maintained the same user name and password for abap and java for both adsuser and ads_agent still same issue,
pelase suggest.

This can be done but you must use the Document Form var to route the signed pdf. You must configure the FormGuide submit button to 'Submit from PDF' in Guide Builder.
Also the button on the form must be configured to submit as 'PDF' (not XDP). This change is done when you open the form in designer.
Note that after you have submitted the signed pdf you will be dealing with a pdf subsequently.
Attached is a sample FormGuide.

Can anyone please suggest me how to know the forms associated with a specific transaction.
For Example In Finance module.
I came to know from SDN the form associated with F.64 as F140_acc_stat_01.
But i need the steps how to track the form name.

1.We cann't find the forms associated with a specific transaction.
2.But,based on requirement we can go for the form selection.
3.Suppose in account payable and receivable , we have different forms like customer statement, Dunning and Chek form etc.
4.The functional people can find the form name in SPRO and give the details of the requirement.
5.If u have the output type or formname u can go for the TNAPR and TTXFP tables and u can search for the respect object.
6.For FI u can directly find in the SPRO, by searching it with the form name.

Alternative Solution for Form 16 with Digital Signature.

Dear All,
My Basis people have tried lot, but they have failed to set up ADS Server, for Digital Signature to be implemented for Form 16.
Can anyone, please provide me with any other solution to get Digital Signature implemented may be via some Z programs or Z customizations. Kindly help me out, as this is an important requirement from the board members of my client. If I fail on this, it would be having some serious repercussions.
Looking forward for an earnest reply. Please don't provide solutions related to SE78(Sapscript .jpg upload).

Form guide with digital signature inside workspace

Hi,
I want to use form guides for user form filling, but also the resultant PDF form must be digitally signed. I'm presenting the form inside Workspace and as a part of workflow.
I've read Form Guides Getting Started document. There, it uses xfaForm type input variable for the process. As I know, xfaForm is data only. So it doesn't work when signatures are needed. I've tried to change the variable type to documentForm in the Sample Mortgage Loan Flex process, but with again no success. This time, on the second step of process, the form rendering on Workspace gave an error as follows:

How to format the text in a Digital Signature for a PDF in landscape orientation?

I have a custom Digital Signature plug-in which prompts the user to enter few details on a dialog and then renders the signature. Now, the problem is for a page which has PDPageGetRotate value as 90. In this case, the entire content(text) in the signature is rendered reversed i.e its displayed upside down. However, for a page in portrait mode, i.e with rotation value as 0, signature is correctly displayed.
Can anybody help me by explaining which callback/method to use to frame the text appearance? I think there needs to be some change in the parameters passed to DigSigAPCreateLayeredStreamEx, am i correct?
Let me know any comments/suggestions on this issue of correctly rendering text in a digital signature for a rotated page.

Go to SE38. Put in the program name RSTXSCRP. Execute it.
Mode(Export/Import) : Import.
Give the file name from which you want to upload and execute it.
<b>For Smartforms</b>
TCode : smartforms.
Give the form name.
Utilities-->Upload form.

You can't upload files with Javascript, that would be a huge security hole. At highest you can use Javascript to submit a form with a file field, but the user still have to select the file himself.

The FM 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE' makes it possible to load a worksheet into an internal table in ABAP.
However, if you want to get the data from several worksheets, I think you are stuck with OLE access to your Excel Workbook...

I think you can easily modify it to handle any number of worksheets.

Have you looked in the IMG menu path: Financial Accounting > Financial Accounting Global Settings > Withholding Tax > (either Withholding Tax or Extended Withholding Tax) > Generic Withholding Tax Reporting > Define Output Groups.
View the output group used in the S_P00_07000134 selection screen. In the Printouts section, Printout 1 and Printout 2 have smart forms identified, either Smart Form or PDF form types.

Through processFormSubmission(), I got the submitted form data as Document obj.
Then I have called the workflow kickoff program.

You need to create a process variable of type IN if you want to be able to pass data to your process. Then the params parameter (HashMap) contains a list of all the IN variables with their content that you want to pass to your process. They key is the name of the variable and the value the content. That way you should get it in your process.
Now LiveCycle will create a column in the database for every process variable, so the content will be saved in the database just by creating that process variable.

Do u mean the Form output in 2-3 languages ...like form output will be having english russian etc...
for the above case , what u have to do ...
first have to get the transalations for all the fields
say for example : if the english word is PO Number , then u have to get the transalation text for PO Number :
after this , what u have to is ,,, Log on to SAP with russian language , then in the form o/p u have to paste that russian test ( translation text ) ...
do like this for all the components in the form .
