How to use frameset in flash 8

Hi can somebody help me with my web page i create some
buttons using flash. i used frameset tag in my web page. So i have
2 rows in my web page and the second row has 2 colums. so i put the
buttons i created in flash in first column of the secon row, but
when i click any button i want this button to open a new page but
not in a different place. For example this button is in the first
column of row2, when i click this button i want to open a new page
but in the second column of the same row. I dont konw how to do
this. Everytime that i click this button opens in the same column
of the second row. How can i make this button to open the page in a
different row or column using flash.? Some body help me
please.

I went through the change log to see what was added, and it looked quite good.
I have tried to compile it, but my experience with fb4 is very limited. I have only worked with it for a couple of months.
I would like a description of how to compile and use this tlfx liblrary in a flex application, so that i can have table supprt as well as support for bullets and numbering.

How to use search on Flash 8

I am using Flash Pro 8. I created a .fla file which contains
several objects, each of them has the ActionScript. Now I want to
search through all the ActionScript for a variable such as named
GeneratedXML (already used somewhere in the application).
So I go to Edit --> Find and Replace or Find Next. Neither
can locate the "GeneratedXML". But I know there is indeed a
variable named: GeneratedXML, because I can see it right before me.
I just want to test the search function of this tool(Flash
8). I need do a lot of searching and location of a parameters,
function names, etc throughout the .fla file.
Then how to use or do a search for a text in (the
ActionScript) in Flash 8?

If you just click the magnifying glass in an actionscript
window its only a simple find and replace for that frame.
Try using the Edit Menu Find and Replace option...

Language Reference>Actionscript classes.

How to use graphs in flash?

User can change values in textbox and accordingly graphs change.

Yes you can do that. I don't think there is any component, you can draw them yourself using the Graphics class. You could make a line graph with the moveTo and lineTo methods. You can make a bar graph with drawRect... Pie graphs are a bit more work, but not too hard once you get the basics of drawing with code down.

How to use usb flash drive

So i tried to use a usb flash drive to save a word document on my macbook, but i couldnt find the flash drive, or even where to find the usb port. can somebody tell me how to use a usb flash drive on macbooks?

The USB ports are on the left side.
Just plug in the drive, and it should show up on your desktop (or in the Finder - click the happy face icon in your dock). Drag and drop the files into the drive. Or, select the drive as the save location when you pick Save or Save As in Word.
When you're done, drag the drive's icon to the trash (it will change to an eject symbol), or click the little eject symbol next to it's icon in the Finder. You can then safely unplug the drive.

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to figure out how to use the new "Flash Field" inside my form.
The form we are working on required the user to interact with the "Flash Field" (i.e., click on the bar on a bar-chart) and the "Flash Field" should return some value (defined in the Flash logic) should be returned to the host (the PDF form) as the FlashField.rawValue, for example.
BTW: The SWF object that is consumed by the "Flash Field" is built by the Flash Builder latest edition (4.5). So we do have a total control on the logic inside the SWF project.
The Q here is: What is the possibility to modify my code inside my Flash project so it can expose the SWF object computed value to the rawValue property of the Flash Field?

I'm more or less in the same boat. I've got the admin console
up. I am able to run the vodtest application locally pointing the
video file to rtmp://localhost/vod/sample.flv or using the server
name instead of localhost as in rtmp://mclmedia/vod/sample.flv
I can also load the html and swf file to my xp machine that
has access to the server via our internal network. (DNS isn't
configured yet) But the connectionFailed message appears when I try
to call the videos using rtmp://mclmedia/vod/sample.flv
