How to use variables POST and personalize the fields form names

Hi friends, I need to send POST values to a external URL from APEX application to proccess a credit card and later receive the POST values to save the transaction, also the fields require have a personalized name, APEX create the field with standar names properly from APEX.
Any one can help me to solve this problem?
Thanks
Libio Balbin

I'm assuming you mean that you will be posting your page form to an external URL. This also means that the items in the form will need to have the element name be a certain name expected by the external URL. Look at Re: item name isn't what i specified to how to do this.
Basically, in the page HTML Header add a javascript function to change the name of the page items and then change the submit to go to the external website. Add to the On Load section to call the javascript when the page is loaded.

  • Used variable substitution to substiture the field 'date' in file name

    Hi gurus
I have used variable substitution to substiture the field 'date' (dd/MM/yyyy/hh/mm/ss) in the file name so when empty payload (a valid xml ) is generated by Message mapping then the communication channel is failing by showing the following error
File processing failed with com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: Error during
variable substitution: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.varsubst.VariableDataSourceException: The following variable was not found in the message payload
    : date
As of now the business is not getting effected as the business scenarion needs only customer master data at the reciever side But when ever there is no custmer master data in the sourse side the message mapping is generating an empty payload and the communication channel is failing ( so it is an internal issue and is there any way which could solve the both (ie the business must not get effected and as well the communication channel must not fail)
any coments on this will be higly apreciated
    thanks and regards
    sandeep

    Hi Sandeep -
Yes If you use the Variable substitution from the payload , that perticular field has to be generated in the target structure.
To handle this You can do the following:
    Sourcefield --->exists -> IfThenElse-->TargetField
    Where     SourceField>exists(node function)-> If
                   SourceField -
    >Then
                   CurrentDate(Date Function)----->Else
    Hope this will help !!
    Regards.

  • How to use User Options and User-Defined Fields in DC Group function?

    Dears,
As title, when should I use above fields?  I did not see the related information in SAPME help library.
    Thanks!

The user options fields are just information fields you can store at the Data Collection Maintenance activity. You can think of these as extra information fields for storage purposes only.  I can't give you a use case except to say 'information fields' only.
With regards to the User-Defined fields in DC Group - you can think of these as extra data fields to be collected.  They will appear immediately underneath the data parameter they are defined in in the DC Plug-in for the POD.  They do not have limits but are just extra pieces of data you may want to collect about the specific parameter.

  • A guest at our home used his ipad and changed the network name. How do I change it back to the apple network

A guest at our house was using his ipad and changed the apple netwrok name to another and put a password on it.  How do I eliminate this netwrok and get back to the Apple Network?

Please check out the following AirPort User Tip for details on resetting the password. Once that is done, you can access the base station to change its Wireless Name (or SSID) back to what you prefer. To discourage other "guests" from changing the AirPort settings, you should also change the default base station Administrator password.

    Thank you.
And another question if the data is already there in the child table if i try to load alone it must delete the old data in the child tablee and need to get load the new data and
    How to do this ?
    Arunraj Kumar
You can do that with an IF EXISTS condition
    IF EXISTS (SELECT 1
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    DELETE t
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    INSERT INTO YourChildTable
where Bkey1,Bkey2 etc forms the business key of the table

My MacBook Pro hard drive is almost full and I wish to store my Aperture Library on an external drive, how do I do this and is the use of USB2 suitable or do I need to use a Firewire external hard drive?

You'll get better performance if you use a Firewire hard drive (especially if you buy a 7200 RPM drive). Firewire's IO speed is significantly faster than USB 2.  USB 2 has a theoretical max speed of 480 Mbps except that it has extremely high over-head.   The fastest speeds you can typically get are about 300 Mbps.   Firewire, on the other hand, has very little overhead.  The fastest speeds you can get are very nearly 800 Mbps.  You will typically be constrained by the maximum read/write speed of the drive, not the speed of the I/O on the Firewire bus.  Now if you had one of those nice shiny new Macs with the Thunderbolt I/O and a Thunderbolt drive (Light Peak) ... I think they alter space and time so that your data arrives before you know you want it.
Also... unless you want to buy a solid state drive (very expensive), try to keep your hard drives from becoming much more than about 60% full if you want great performance.  A nearly "full" hard drive is, on average, only about half as fast as the same hard drive when nearly empty.
USB 2 will work perfectly fine... just not as fast.
Also... it's much safer to move the entire Aperture library than to "relocate masters".  Your images must be managed.  You can Aperture manage them, or you can manage them.  But someone has to manage them.  If you "relocate" them so that they are no longer stored inside the Aperture library then you'll need to work out a system of how you decide to organize things and it's critically important that you don't start moving files around or deleting things without Aperture's knowledge.  If you do, you'll break the links to your masters and start having problems with missing masters.  If you have Aperture manage the library then you don't need to worry about any of that stuff.... it's safer.
Do make backups (use the Aperture Vault or use some other backup program, but make sure you back up your work if you care about it.)  There are only two kinds of hard drives in the world:  (1) those that have failed and (2) those that are going to fail.  There are no exceptions to this rule.  Hard drives are cheap.  Backup software is built into Aperture and into your Mac.

  • SSHR reskin AKA 'How to Use Adobe Flash to Transform the Look and Feel...

There was a presentation at the OHUG 2011 Conference titled 'How to Use Adobe Flash to Transform the Look and Feel of Oracle HR Self Service'. It presented a method of 're-skinning' SSHR to present a different UI to the user.
Looking for anyone out there that has attempted to apply this to their Oracle HRSS pages. I know this company has developed (is developing?) a product based on this approach. I want to see if anyone has done it on their own and would be willing to share some details.
Follow-up question. Has anyone availed themselves of the bespoke UI Development based on this approach from Applaud Solutions (as mentioned on their website), and care to comment on your experience?

Any update on this please? Even we are looking for some pointers in this area.

I shot a video using my iPad 2, and it is too far away from the subject. How do I zoom in and save the whole video like that? Thanks!

Sorry to be such a moron with this, but I just don't have much experience with this iPad.  I have had it for over a year and I just keep adding stuff to it and it has worked great.  Now that the memory is used up, I am trying to figure out how to free up space and not lose what I have paid for.
So, Step 1 is complete, as I have "Transferred" all of the purchases.
What is Step 2?  I unchecked the concert on the iTunes library, did a sync, but it's still on my iPad.
    Thanks again for the help!!!

  • How to use method POST to send XML using utl_http?

    Hi,
I am trying to work out how to use the POST method to mimic submitting data from a HTML form, using utl_http.
I cannot use SOAP for this as the people I am sending the data to are just expecting an XML document to be sent to a standard CGI script running on their web server.
There is a lot of documentation on how to submit data using the POST method (using Utl_Http.Write_Text etc), but I cannot find anything that tells me how to submit form variables.
The examples on OTN say this:
"Alternatively use method => 'POST' and Utl_Http.Write_Text to
    build an arbitrarily long message"
but don't tell me how to actually place the data into the required input parameters of the CGI program I am hitting.
I need to hit a URL such as
    www.asite.com/cgiprogram
and pass in a parameter, eg
    in_param="test+data"
I am currently doing this as a GET, which works, but the XML document I am passing in could potentially be bigger than the GET method will allow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Leon.
