How to view progress of a file in a hidden folder.

Question

We are pushing out a 7 ish GB .zip file from SCCM to around 1000 remote servers. I need to be able to check all 1000 servers for the temp file it puts the file in before it is completed. From what I have read all the file names could be different on
each server as SCCM makes the temp file for each new software push.
I would need it to be able to show the date the file was created and what size the file is. 
So far I have only been able to get the file to show up when it is 100% completed using

I am at a bit of a loss as what to do next.

Our software dist team want's to be able to check and see if the file has stopped downloading or see if it has error out.  
I know I can check  when the file is completed, I would like to be able to avoid having to check each of the 1000 servers to see how far along the temp is.
