How to work open the PDF and edit it as appropriate without going online???

Probably sounds simple but trying to find out how I can work 'offline' without having to sign into the saved PDF document. What I want to do is the following:
1. When I send my PDF document to a client and they want to amend the PDF version. How can they open the document then edit it as appropriate without having to go online?????

Your client would need to sign in atleast once at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" or Adobe Reader to get the file.
Once the client downloads and saves the file, he can go offline and then make changes in the PDF by using Acrobat (not Reader).

You won't lose apps that are installed.   You will lose the ability to update them
Business with the App stores is restricted to those stores in your formal country of residence (your billing address) and a bank supported credit card from that same country.   You can buy and update apps with those details only in that country.
If you have established residences and bank supported accounts in other countries you can also use those.   You can buy and update apps in those countries using those details.
You cannot interchange them.   You cannot merge IDs or purchase details.

Prolems started after uploading the Lion in March. Now at least Windows 7 users can´t open any pdfs or jpegs that I have included into sent e-mails. They can see that they are included but can´t open them. What can I do?

It's a bug in Outlook. Each version of Outlook has its own unique bug that prevents it form displaying email that didn't come from another Outlook user. Apple has attempted to dumb-down Mail and make it more complex in order to work around these issues, but Microsoft keeps changing the bugs in each version of Outlook instead of making an Internet Email standard compliant email client.
Are they able to right-click on the image and save it from the contextual menu?
Otherwise, make sure Send windows friendly, attachments at end of message are checked and send plain text.
Or, zip the attachments and send that way.
There is also a program called Attachment Tamer that many people have found useful.

If I make work in Premiere CC but lose access to CC, do I lose the ability to open the file and edit my work?

I'm currently using Premiere CS6. Premiere CC looks appealing in terms of the updates, but not the payment model. If I can't pay for CC for a while, or switch to another program one day, will I lose the ability to open any of my Premiere CC files? It's shocking how often I go back to an old project that was made in an ancient program that I no longer use, but because I forever own that software, I'm always able to open the file up and make whatever changes necessary so I can bring the file into a more current program. Is this workflow lost if I lose access to CC? If this is the case, I may have to stick to CS6 just because I have the disks and know I'll always be able to install the programs and access my files.

New PROJECT files, and SOME data files (such as InDesign ???) will not open in earlier programs... industry standard files (such as JPG) will open in any program

Updated iPhoto 11 and cannot open Events with double click or any other way. I can only view those photos by creating an album from all of them, then I can open the album and edit or delete etc. Any one have that problem?

After upgrading to iPhoto 11 and the latest upgrade 9.4.1 (701 67) I cannot open any Event. The normal double click does not work, nor anything else I have tried. The only way I can view the photos in an Event is to make an Album of it, and then I can easily open it with a double click and edit and delete, arrange photos etc. Anyone have this problem. Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How does one use the middle and right buttons in AIR without the cursor showing?

All I want to do is use all three botton clicks without the cursor showing (assistive technology situation). So I use Mouse.hide(). All works fine with the Left mouse button. With the middle and right buttons the cursor reappears as soon as the middle and right mouse is in the DOWN state (and stays visible until rehidden--see code). Are there Mouse parameters that could be added? (I can't find any such references.) Do I need to create a custom cursor Class that makes the cursor invisible at all times? Here is my simple AS 3 test code.

Incidentally, I then downloaded the upgrade offered at the top of that page (from v3.2 to v3.2.4) but after ±90% of the necessary time needed, it shut down with a "Failed to Mount" message (whatever that might mean). It took more than 28 minutes to download that much even though I'm using DSL! Have either of you upgraded to v3.2.4 with or without difficulty?

Please go to: Tools -> Options -> Applications
and check what do you have chosen under 'Adobe Acrobe Forms Document". If it's not "Adobe Acrobat", change it.

I can't open the PDF for the free install since both my emails did not come with a password. Did anyone else have this problem???

I purchased 2 new Macs, 1 a Mac Air 13" loaded and an iMac for my wife. I received 2 sets of emails, one with the code and the other with the PDF. When I tried to install last night, I would open the PDF and it asked for a password. I checked both sets of emails, which Aopple sent me 2 sets 3 days apart, and neither one had anything looking like a password. I called Apple Care and they said that it was on the sheet under the Thank hyou from Apple...NOT! She then said they would resend the emails again and hopefully have the password this time. Has anyone had this issue??????

Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

iOS apps will only run under iOS. They cannot be opened, run or used on any other operating system, so they cannot be used on your laptop. The sync and transfer of purchases apps is merely to keep a copy of the app as backup on your laptop. While you can re-download any app you have from your iTunes/App Store account, that will only get your the latest release version. If you want to keep older or previous releases around as backup, then your only copies will be the ones you've copied over to your laptop for safekeeping.

The easiest thing to start with is to reset the Eraser Tool.
Right click on the Eraser icon in the tool options bar and then click on Reset Tool.

I have a pdf document and within the pdf I'd like to embed a couple pdf documents so that all the user has to do is double click on the pdf object inside the pdf and it opens in a new window. The "embed" feature common to MS Office applications is not applicable to PDF (for the why and wherefore of PDF get comfortable and read the ISO Standard for PDF - ISO 32000-1:2008).
You can insert other PDF files' pages into any given PDF.
You can attach files of supported formats to a PDF (of course a PDF is supported).
You cannot "embed". So, nothing is broken.

If I may impose on your generosity one more time, if I understand you correctly if I create a document on Word or WordPerfect, print it and scan it to create a pdf, the search function will not work. But, if I create the pdf document in Word the search function will work. Unfortunately, I am not sure how I create a pdf document in Word other than by printing it and scanning it. Could you please explain.
