How/ where to change a weekly off to working day, working day to weekly off by maintaining IT0007 is 7-time evaluation without payroll integration

We are doing Negative Time Management where we record only deviations
But customer has third party time machine which required to be integrated with SAP system
As I know, from the time recording terminal, i should map SAP number to all employees and then get a text mail the details with employee attendance for the respective dates and times. Then, have to create a ABAP report which will read the text file and update clock in/out with date into SAP system. After this we can check employee attendance infotype 2011.
But, Before going for above, time administrator wants to set IT0007 as 7- time evaluation without payroll integration, then maintain data in IT0050 & IT2011
Then run Time Evaluation then the out put will be according to the data maintained in IT 2011. Now the requirement is, time administrator wants to change eg. the day is suppose to be working day for any employee but based on adjustments that day became weekly off, another employee suppose to work but again due to some adjustments that day became weekly off, so how this time administrator can change this and where. This is like, time administrator need to see the total work schedule for an employee and needs to change whichever data and whenever or after time evaluation, he could see the total work schedule as desired.
And also, time administrator wants to change schedule manually for any of the employee during that particular period and view the same.
Please note that, ESS/MSS haven't implemented yet.

I have created a workschedule on wednesday In a year there can be weekly off 5 or 6 times on Saturday or Sunday So in that case there is no need to create three workschedules we can create one workschedule and change the days Again we need to regenerate the workschedules inorder to take 'off's" in to account. that is what iam thinkinng at the moment. Yes there is no need to do anything in IT 007 If there is any change in Shift in that Case User has to change workschedule in IT 007.
If there is weekly off he can select the dates on which day it is falling and generate the workschedule.
for changing shifts he should change work schedule in IT 007
Is this is right approach please throw some light on this
My client requirement was Sometimes there can be weekly off in the company It can be either wednesday off or saturday off or
unday off or it can be any day.

You can't install Windows software natively on your Mac but you can run Microsoft Virtual PC <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc> if your Mini is a PowerPC Mac or you can use something like Parallels <http://www.parallels.com> or Apple's Boot Camp <http://www.apple.com/bootcamp> if your Mini is an Intel Mac.
Virtual PC comes with Windows but Parallels and Boot Camp will require you to install your own licensed version of Windows purchased separately.
Then you'll be able to run Windows on your Mac, which means you can use ActiveX in your IE browser.

How do I change the compatibility view so that my words are not running off the page?

I do data entry and in the system I am working on the words are running off the page. In internet explorer there is a little broken page on the tool bar that lets you change the compatibility and I am not finding anything like that with firefox. Please advise how I can change the setting so that the words will wrap correctly.

As far as I know, Firefox doesn't have a similar compatibility feature.
I assume this system is not accessible to forum volunteers, so I'm going to ask you to do a little sleuthing. I assume you are entering text in a multi-line textbox (an HTML <textarea> control). Could you do the following:
* Have your text entry form open in one tab, and a reply to this thread in another tab.
* Right-click in the control that doesn't wrap and choose Inspect Element. A small pane should open with part of the HTML highlighted in blue.
* Right-click the highlighted <textarea> tag and choose Copy Outer HTML.
* In your reply tab, paste the HTML, and remove the leading < character to avoid messing up your post. This will show any legacy settings on the tag that might be affecting how it wraps.
Here's an example using this very box:
textarea style="width: 567px; height: 616px;" rows="10" name="content" required="required" placeholder="Enter your reply here." cols="40" id="id_content"></textarea>
If it's not a textarea, then that would be useful to know as well.
* Back in your form, you may or may not have a pane to the right that shows various style rules. If not, click the Style button at the lower right to open it. Look for any rules with the '''white-space''' property (the properties normally appear in colored text). If you find one, right-click and choose Copy declaration line. Switch back to this tab and paste the rule.
With that information, hopefully we can find a workaround.

How do you change the settings you have the screen dim before it shuts off

I know on older OS the screen would dim before the computer shuts off. I was wondering how to do that on Maverick. It doesn't seem to come up on display settings or energy saver.

How can I change the width of columns in (e.g.) the week view in Thunderbird / Lightning?

As it currently displays, the Lightning display of a week doesn't fit in the window, so I'm forever scrolling left and right. I'd like to reduce the width of columns so that all 6 or 7 days (depending on whether it's a work week or full week) can be displayed within the window's width, without scrolling. There seems to be no standard way to configure this to happen.
I have the calendar pane on the left reduced to its narrowest (I still need this for navigation, so I can't just get rid of it).
I have tried zooming out, but all this does is reduce the height of events etc. within the columns, it does not affect the width of the columns.

While they may auto adjust to what it thinks is a correct width, far too often it allocates way too much room and that causes lists with 4 columns to be much longer than they need to be and without the ability to adjust them, lists look strange.

How do I change the Prompt values in a rep sched to run weekly

My clients run reports on regularly, monthly, weekly, bi-annually you get the idea. I want to know if there is a way I can automatically increment the date values to mach the run frequency of the report. I want to make this as bullet proof as possible so if I can avoid manual input by the client that would be great.

Create date variable in Universe which calculates the days automatically and use these objects in the condition and schedule the report accordingly.
Eg: If you want to run a report daily to bring previous 7 days data create an object in desinger with the def sysdate-7 (if it is oracle) and use that object in the condition. Then schedule the report. so whenever the report runs it brings the prvious 7 days data.

How do I change the default map to one that works. Apple maps nearly killed me today in Leicester as it tried to take me down 2 pedestrian areas, 1 no entry and told me to do a u turn about 6 times at no u turn junctions.

Need to change default map on iphone. The default maps app is dangerous - it wanted to take me down pedestrian areas and through no entries whilst trying to navigate in Leicester. It needs to be removed from my phone as it is a hazard. I clicked on a link in an email and the maps app was opened and so I used it to navigate. Big mistake. This app is a serious hazard!

I don't really want to get into a long debate here, but just to put in some background info. I travel a lot in the uk and have done for many years. For the last couple of years I have used either Nav free or waze as sat nav maps on my iphone. Whilst there has been some errors, they have been useable - and of course you have to use your common sense whilst using them.
On this occasion someone emailed an address to me in Leicester. I wanted to drive from on point in Leicester to this address that has been emailed to me. I clicked on the address in the email and it defaulted to the apple maps and plotted a route. It was about 1 mile away and told me it would take about 8 mins.
This was the worse journey I have experienced with a 'sat nav' - it tried to take me through 2 pedestrian areas and 1 no entry in that short journey. Clearly I didn't go I. The pedestrian areas or turn into the one way. However, the apple. Aps persisted to try and make me take these route, and I. The process kept urging me to take a u turn where it was clearly sign posted that it was illegal to do so.
In the end, I pulled over and switched to Waze - it directed me straight to my destination without any errors.
The point is, I am not talking about a mistake in the middle of no where. This is a major city in the UK - and fairly central ie near the city centre.
Generally I love Apple products and don't knock them as a company.
The original question was genuine- can I change the default mapping app so that I don't end up using the apple maps app again. It was a disaster like nothing I have seen before.
I now know that the answer is no.
Apple clearly need to sort this out.

Every time I open itunes I have to put in my password, I also have to enter my password to access the store, my account etc even though I have already entered it on openening the programme - it is extremely annoying!! Check the settings in Gmail for whether each email opens in a new tab or the same tab.

How do I change search engines if /searchreset doesn't work?

I just upgraded to FF 23, and either that or some other upgrade changed my default search engine to Yahoo. I want to change it back to Google, which I think is the default. Another Support thread led me to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/, but that didn't work. I went into about:config and changed Yahoo to Google on several lines, but that did nothing. I tried to change searchreset.backup.keyword.URL and keyword.URL, but they would not change from the Yahoo setting.
Not only is my default stuck at Yahoo, but even if I click the down arrow in the search box, I can't select a different search engine manually. The drop-down shows me a list of search engines, but selecting one of them does nothing. Help?

How can I change the event display in an APEX 4.2 calendar?

Colleagues: The APEX calendar feature is pretty neat, but of course there's a feature I'd like to use but can't find how/where to change it. In other calendaring apps (e.g., Thunderbird) when an event is logged, like tomorrow's staff meeting, the time is blocked out vertically for the length of the event. So for example: if staff is from 2pm-4pm, both 2-3 and 3-4 are colorized so a quick visual will show what times during the day are not available.
The APEX calendar will show a colored bar for the start time of the event, but not a blocked-out vertical for the entire event. Make sense? Any way I can change the calendar/event view to accommodate this?
