HP Deskjet 3052A Software downloaded but drivers won't install (windows 7 home premium 64 bit)
I am trying to re install my Deskjet 3052a. I have uninstalled the software and upon trying to reinstall I get a message that says cannot install drivers. I have used the HP Print and Scan Doctor with no success. I was sent a troubleshoot file by HP-- didn't work. I have disabled start up apps, I have disabled firewalls, and antivirus... still NO solution!
This is the error message I get.

What do I do now?

Adobe AIR won't install - Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Im just going to copy and paste a previous discussion I saw, simply because, everything is the same with me.
"Sorry, an error has occurred.
An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
Well, I asked myself and verified that I am allowed to install any programs I wish to at will.
I even toyed with adding extra permissions for the .exe and shortcut [see below], to no avail.
I also checked your Adobe AIR installation troubleshooter section before posting. Unfortunately, none of the solutions 100% applied to my circumstances or OS, yet I tried a few anyway and had it confirmed by a Windows dialogue that I need not have bothered as it assured me that they weren't applicable in my case.
I found another thread like mine where somebody suggested creating a shortcut with an additional -uninstall parameter added to the .exe path. It didn't work.
I used Microsoft's Installation Cleanup Utility and that didn't work to "un-confuse" the installer either.

I have Adobe Standard. I'd like a free trial of Adobe Pro because moving pages around in a 400 page document in Standard seems to be a nightmare. It says Pro downloaded but it won't install because it says I already have a superior product.
I think the point is that you have a registered product and that is being interpreted as superior. Anyway, you may have to uninstall (after deactivating) Std to look at Pro. Don't do this if you do not have a backup of the Std install file and S/N that you should have saved to a backup CD and/or backup HD.

C4580 won't run wirelessly on driver downloaded for Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Got a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. c4580 not compatible with Windows 7. Working with HP Instant Care, downloaded Windows driver for c4500 series all-in-one printers. Printer now works using USB cable but does not work wirelessly. Techs from HP were to call me back within 48hrs (from 2/11). No callback. Still have open service ticket 8034746768 but have spent so many hrs on my cellphone with HP I have run way over my allowed minutes per month, about $80. worth. Hesitate for that reason to call them again. Can anyone help?

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit SP1 download/install problems

Bought a brand new laptop from an electronics store in Nov. 2010 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit pre-installed.
All is well with being notified of all avail. MS updates and I am fully patched with all of them....except SP1. I have never been notified that sp1 was available to download and install.
I have tried everything.
Checked "winver" and no sp1 is not installed
Downloaded SP1 from MS website which requires validation (passed validation of course) and tried running sp1 from desktop and get error "Directory name is invalid"
Turned off A/V and Firewall ran again and same result. Burned and .iso of sp1 ran it, same result.
Ran in safe mode..same thing
Ran MS troubleshooter and updates are fine

Cannot install itunes 11.1.3 to my windows vista home premium 32-bit. After it finishes the download that it verifies the file I get a message saying "this file cannot be downloaded". My Macbook Pro downloads software updates but it won't install them?
My late 2011 MacbookPro downloads software updates but when I try to install them, it tells me that it's not supported? The software is currently OS X Lion 10.7.5 and I tried upgrading a few things but it won't install. For example, I tried to get the latest update for iMovie, which is crucial for my studies, but it just tells me to update my macbook which is driving me nuts! Help please?

You can upgrade to Mavericks from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mavericks can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
Upgrading to Mavericks
To upgrade to Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Mavericks from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mavericks is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mavericks
1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.

I downloaded but it won't install, keeps asking for a password
I am using Vista and I downloaded firefox. After download complete I clicked on run and a window popped up asking for administrator and password. It also had a button to switch to me and I did both but it won't install. Nothing happens.

You did download Firefox from the official Mozilla site (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html) ?
Did you try to run the Firefox installer as Administrator via the right-click context menu ?
If you keep having problems then you may need to disable your anti-virus software temporarily.
