HP Desktop F4500 Wireless Printer Won't Connect to Router!

So Here's the Diagnostic Test:
Wireless On: Pass
Wireless Working: Pass
Network Name (SSID) Found: Fail
Security: Pass
Connected: Not Run
Signal Strength: Not Run
Other networks detected matching your network name (SSID): Not run
Wireless Networks Detected: 11
Downlink count: 0
Channel: Not Run
My Router is a Verizon Fios Router and when i press and hold the "Wi-fi Protected Setup" Button, the printer doesn't automatically find the network or signal or whatever it should connect to and the wireless light on the printer does not light up unless it is pressed.
--3 sheets were printed when i was setting up the printer at first, I don't know what buttons I pressed to do this but the three papers are labeled on top as:
1.)"Hp Network Configuration Page"
2.)"Wireless Network Test Report"
3.)"Number of 802.11 networks discovered: 11"
--Not printed in that specific order though.
I need help please!!

First, WEP is not in the least secure.  Also, it will not work with Wifi Protected Setup (WPS).
Change WEP to WPA or WPA2, create a passphrase that is at least 13 characters, numbers and letters, upper and lower case and try again.  Of course, all of your wireless devices will have to re-login to the wireless network after you change it.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • Wireless print server cannot connect to router

Hi - I just got the FiOS installed.  When I went to set up my print server via wireless, it has failed.  It has previously been connected via Ethernet and worked just fine.  The print server thinks its connect to the AP/router but the FiOS router does not see it.  I went into the system logs and see the following errors:

  • Hp C4580 printer won't connect to wireless network, but see network is available.

I've sat through quite a few of the threads here with regard to photsmart C4580 printer not connecting to wireless network.
My issues started with a cartridge issue, which I resolved with a new cartridge, but only after trying out different solution offered on HP forum.
Now printer won't connect to my network which it has been connected to for over 2 years with no issues. The wireless network is working perfectly fine and I even printed out a HP photosmart C4500 series connectivity status and in this report printer can see the network I need to connect to.
I've tried downloading various programs from Scan doctor to complete install of all HP programs and even tried installing printer from Windows 7 "add a printer", but none can see this printer.
lastly I was hoping trying to locate IP address for printer which looks like it may help, but report says IP Address "not applicable".
I believe printer, wireless network and PC are working correctly, this there a way to switch printer to online so it can be seen.
    Help would be great.

  • My printer won't connect wirelessly any more

Since upgrading to the latest software my HP wireless printer won't print from any of my devices. I've rebooted both my iPad & mac but still no joy.

Turn off everything including the router. Wait thirty seconds.
Turn on router and wait until it finishes startup and indicates a good connection to the Internet.
Turn on computer. Wait until it finishes startup.
    Turn on iPad or iPhone.
Then open iTunes on the computer. Use the menu to check for updates. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
Connect your iPad using the cable that came with the iPad. Do not use a third part cable.
    Select your iPad in iTunes.
Click on Summary in iTunes and check the settings for Wi-Fi sync. If Wi-Fi sync is off turn it on. If wifey sync is on turn it off, wait a little but, then turn it back on.

A wireless printer connects to the network just like your computer, or iPhone/iPad, etc. connects using wireless.
The printer must be set up intially to scan to "find" available wireless networks, then your specific wireless network needs to be selected. Then the password for the network needs to be entered.
Once the printer is configured to join the network, it is always connected to the network. No further configuration is required.

    Hi Pebbles2313,
It sounds like you have an issue with your printer software. You may find some of the software necessary to run your printer through the following link:
OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download - Apple Support

Try downloading the driver directly from Canon's web site.

  • My Apple wireless keyboard won't connect to my Mac mini any more.

My Apple wireless keyboard won't connect to my Mac mini any more. Going through the Bluetooth Setup Assistant doesn't help - the computer finds the keyboard, but when I type in the pass code it fails to pair with it. The green LED on the bottom of the keyboard flashes twice at roughly two-second intervals. I've tried replacing the batteries and this has had no effect. I have all the latest software updates installed.

    Welcome Cheirhandrea!
There are easily hundreds of variants of the iMac dating back to 1998. Many of the pre-2006 iMacs this forum covers cannot support an Apple wireles keyboard. Because this model has been in production for so long, it is important for you to let us know as much about your computer as possible so someone won't give you information that may not be appropriate to your iMac variant.
    So we need to know:
    1) Your processor type and Mac OSX version, both available by doing "About this Mac" from your Apple menu at the left end of the menu bar:
    2) The make and model of the keyboard.
I asked for your Mac OS version because "iOS" as currently shown in your equipment profile cannot run on any Mac computer, only Apple's mobile devices. Once you get the OS version from "About this Mac," please change your profile to avoid further confusion and get help faster without the delay of someone having to ask for clarification before they can start helping.

  • Can I get my HP F4500 wireless printer to work with my Ipad?

Can I get my HP F4500 Wireless Printer to work with my Ipad....It is an IOS 4.3.2

    Philip-
I don't see a 4500 HP printer on the list of AirPrint printers, so you will most likely need an alternate way to print to it.
One way is to use an iPad App such as Print n Share.  It has its own browser, mail, photo and text programs that can print to some non-AirPrint printers.  I don't know if it can print from within other iPad Apps.
Another way is to use a computer to share the printer as AirPrint over WiFi, using a program like Printopia for the Macintosh.  For a free solution, search the web for AirPrint Activator.
I recommend you try the free iPad App, HP iPrint Photo.

Impossible, there are zero, as in none, zip, nadda viruses for OS X. If you have viruses on it they are for MS Windows and will not affect OS X. I suspect the hard disk has crashed, if you have backup then it's not a big deal to have it changed, just take it into your local Apple Store or AASP for service. If you have not been backing it up you may be in for a painful lesson on why backup is critical.

  • After installing Snow Leopard my wireless printer won't work

I installed Snow Leopard now my HP wireless printer won't print.

I suggest you check the properties of the printer in control panel and make sure the IP of the port matches what the IP address is allocated to printer by the hub, sounds like a miss match somewhere
