HP Recipe Box add new category

I have tried to add a new category however I cannot add a category name. Please help!

Hi,
From the Start screen, click the HP Recipe Box tile.
In HP Recipe Box, right-click on any blank area of the screen.
In the options bar that opens, click + New Category. A blank category form opens.
Enter the category name in the field at the top of the form.
Add a photo by clicking the Change Photo button. Navigate to the desired photo, click the photo, and then click Open.
If desired, click the Change Color button, select a color, and then click the Choose Color button.
On the category form, click Create Category.
The new category appears under Categories.
Click the new category to open it. Follow the directions in this document to add recipes:

Hi,
The list of cost centers in which the activity type is planned is given in KL02 under planning data. In order to add a new cost center to this, you need to enter the activity type in transaction KP26 for a particular year.
Goto transaction KP26
Give version - 0
from period 1 to 12
year - 2011
cost center - mention the cost center
Activity type - mention activity type
goto overview screen F5 and add the plan price for the activity in the cost center. This step will automatically add new row in the activity type control data.

Good point, in order to add a Page into that area, you will need to define a Custom Action. You can learn more about creating Custom Actions here:

I created new category by navigated Application developer - attachment - category
but i dont know how to assign the above created category for Project master creation form

I'm not sure what you mean by "the + box". Is that a feature on one of your toolbars?

Hello,
You can add new account assignement category in IMG-->Supplier Relationship Management -- SRM Server -- Cross-Application Basic Settings -- Account Assignment -- Define Account Assignment Categories.
For an example:-
Select Account assignment and add a new entries
Account assignment - CC
Description - Cost Center
Active - X
Back end acct asst category - K (according to ur backend system)
Select the added Account assignment and click on Account assignment fields
Acct assignment Field(techincal name) : COST_CTR
Description - Cost Center
Leading Acct assign Field - X.

Cannot find a way to edit bookmarks or add new folder as there is not a category edit bookmarks when I pull down the bookmark menu

Updated to firefox 4.0 and can't find either the edit bookmarks or add new folder.

I forgot that you are using a Mac. Please read this article:

How to add new button on Add content box in DVT

Currently we are using Dynamic Visitor Tool in weblogic portal 10.3.2 and want to add one new button e.g. "Favorite Portlets" along with portlet list when user clicks on Add Content menu option. Could any one explain what is the exact procedure to do it what are places/files we need to modify.

You will have to use the mixin mechanism provided in dvt. Here are the mixin classes you will need to add and methods to override within them.

In the abve code, follow the pattern to add a new menuitem in the place where you need it to show up. The method that gets called when the menuitem is clicked will go in the following mixin class -

Note I haven't run the code above so please check for syntactical correctness before you run it. Also note that, unfortunately, the granularity of the buildNavigableMenu method above is very coarse in that you cannot add new menuitems as small snippets all by themselves. So you will have to include the base menu building code along with your new menu item building code snippet.

Can you make a new category in the movie library?

Can you make a new category in the movies library? I put my home movies into the "Home Videos" category. I put movies into the "Movies" category. I would like to make a new one. "Work Videos" . Is this possible?

You Cannot make a new Movie Media Kind, they are set by apple to be Movie and Home Video. However under Genre you could create a new Genre and call it whatever you want by typing in the Genre Box in the Get Info , Info page. This will then be available for future selections.
I am sure there are other ways to achieve what you want with different naming convention - it is up to you but you cannot add another Media Kind like Home Video

Adding a new category

Hi All,
I want to attach a PDF file to the delivery in teh shipping transactions form, when i click on the paperclip symbol a dialogue box opens where in i am able to see a seq, category etc etc. In teh category the default is "Short Text". I want to add another new category in that. Can somebody help me on this and help me on the navigation. I t would be helpful.

How do I erase a CD read/write disc on my macbook so I can add new data

How do I erase a CD read/write disc on my macbook so I can add new data. If a disc is a RW, I shouldn't i be able to write to it after it already has some data on it?
I get a screen note saying I can't add anything because something is already on the disc... but it's only one little 3 meg file. But apple i info. shows no room on the cd.
How can I erase the cd and reuse it? I find no erase command and when I try to drag the file to the trash, i get another note saying i don't have permission... even tho I've check off the permission box.

Open Disk Utility, choose the CD on the left side and click "Erase" on the right.

How do I add new photos to my external back up without duplicating the entire library?

My iPhoto libraries are a complete mess. I can't be the only person who:
a) wants a number of libraries for different types of image (digital art, holiday snaps, etc)
b) wants to keep the bulk of his library on an external drive, to free up space on my main hard drive.
One problem is that iPhoto does not show things clearly. It does not say:
a) which hard drive the currently displayed iPhoto library is in
b) which iPhoto library is currently open (at the top it just says iPhoto instead of giving a directory).
Another problem is that when I import photos from my iPhone or camera, they automatically go into the iPhoto libaray on my main hard drive; I don't seem to be asked: "To which iPhoto library do you want to import these photos?"
On top of that, whilst in some cases a pop-up asks if you really do want to add a duplicate image to a certain location, I haven't found a simple way when doing back ups to ONLY ADD NEW IMAGES to an existing library ('Apply to all' etc.)
As a result, I have loads of duplicates in different libraries, with crazy titles like: "Mostly family photos up to Sept 2010" or "Digital images to June 2012, many duplicates."
A friend recommended iPhoto Library Manager but I don't find that well laid out and haven't used it.
As I've also had difficulty upgrading my iPhoto libraries, I've started saving my photos in a regular folder (not iPhoto), with View set to large icons. I find that easier to organise.
So....Can anyone advise on a simple clear way of organising my photos and adding new ones in to the appropriate folder?

Correct - it always uses the last selected library - If you use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - to manage your libraries you do have a display showing whaih=ch library you are using
And with iPhoto '11 you can switch libraries from the file menu
You can always suggest a new feature to Apple - iPhoto manu ==> provide iPhoto feedback

Correct IF you do not have a good plan for managing multiple libraries and IF you do not folow it - iPhoto is a basic program designed for the mass market and knows only about the current library - it has no idea about any otehr libraries - it is far better to have only one library - but if you choose to have multiple libraries tehn you must ahve a good plan for managing them and yo must follow yoru plan - if you do not then it will not work wisince what you doing is not a feature of iPhoto

Well your friend made a good suggestion and it is a great product for manageing multiple libraries - but if you do not like it then you should not use it

Then the question arises "why are you using iPhoto at all?" It does not work like you want, you prefer using teh finder to organize your photos and you have created a mess by trying to use iPhoto in ways it was not designed to be used - your best choice is to not use iPhotoa and do it your self the way you prefer

Yes - use one library and learn how to use iPhoto (BTW in iPhoto folders do not hold photos - they only hold albums and other folders) - the solution is to have one library with multiple backups and to organize using albums, folders, Keywords and folders in the single iphoto library
Otherwise you need a different program and different workflow - what you have is not working and is almost impossible to make work - either use iPhoto the way it is designed or use a program that is designed like you want
