HP solution center home screen problem?

Hi guys, 
I just boat All in one inkjet K209g. I installed all the drivers from CD on Windows Vista.
And I have a problem in homescreen. Here is the picture?
Basically, I can not see any feature buttons: Scan, Print.
I have installed all the drivers properly. It can print properly, the scanning function is not working.
I also checked with HP Scan and Print Doctor, "HP Twain Scan" failed and it says "Unable to connect to scanning software"?
I reinstalled, restarted, reconnected but nothing worked so far?

Hi nomalum, I noticed your post about your issue with your Solution Center and scanning problems. I see that you have installed the software using the installation disk.
I recommended the following:
1. Uninstalling the software. Click here to uninstall
2. Restarting your computer.
3. Reinstalling the software from the download. Click here to install

    Can somebody please help me here, I've just got an N97 as upgrade from N95 and I'm tearing my hair out already.
    The widgets on the main home screen, ie the box you can amend via 'Add Content' with the contacts/calender/mail/camera or whatever ppl want to put there, that surely should shortcut to that partic application? I have the above 4 shortcuts in a horz line across screen but cant access them indiv.
    I just get the option 'Settings/Remove/Change wallpaper' when I touch the box, I get the same kinda problem with the Favourite Contacts box, I cant quickly call or text anyone.
    I must be something really stupidly wrong but it took so long to get the N97 to sync with Outlook properly that I'm getting frustrated.
    Any help would be really appreciated.

  • TS1702 iOS home screen problem

    Has anyone had problems with the home screen on the iPhone enlarging so that only a part of it is shown?  The " slide to unlock" bar can't be used then and there is no way to resize the display so the whole screen is visible. And the only way to use the phone again is to reboot by hard reboot as the slider bar to turn off can't be used too.

    Double tap with three fingers.
    Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom OFF.

  • Anyone have solution for gray screen problem?

    Acrobat displays gray screens only for each page of file when opening from flash drive.  Files open properly from same flash drive on other computers so fiies are OK.  Latest Acrobat update installed.
    Problem started within last few weeks, worked fine prior to that.

    I'm having the same issue opening an attached pdf from Outlook 2013.
    From the age of your post, I see Adobe is very concerned about this.

  • IPhone Home screen problems!

    Hi,
    I have just recently purchased my own iPhone. I was just messing around with the "arrange key feature" when i moved around the main buttons on the bottom. (phone, mail, safari, ipod) Then, i put everything back to the way it was before and didn't move anything around again. Then, once i turn my phone back on after being shut off, the buttons are back in the order i had it in when I was messing around. Could someone please help me figure out how to keep the buttons in the original position.

    Going through the activation process again is not required when restoring.
    Restoring completely erases your iPhone, and then re-installs the current firmware version. After the current firmware version is re-installed, you will be prompted to restore your iPhone from your iPhone's backup - which is created and maintained by iTunes, or as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
    The backup stores your iPhone settings, SMS messages, notes created with the Notes application, recent calls, call favorites, visual voicemail available on your iPhone, Maps bookmarks, youtube bookmarks, alarms, cities tracked with the weather widget, stocks tracked with the stocks widget, and photos captured by your iPhone - but I wouldn't depend on this one. If your iPhone includes any photos captured by your iPhone, you should import these photos to your computer - the same as with any digital camera. Basically the backup stores everything not included with the iTunes sync process. iTunes content - music and video, contact information, calendar events, and bookmarks are not included with the backup since this data should be available with the supported applications on your computer. And the same for photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.

  • Lenovo Solution Center Backup alert problems

    LSC 2.0.020 is alerting me that my last backup was on 05 January 2013. In fact my last backup was on 1st May which Rescue And Recovery 4.50.0025.00 displays as 01/05/2013. R&R is showing the date in US format and presumably miscommunicating it to LSC. I am in the UK and my Win7 regional settings are correct for the UK locale.
    R&R should either respect the Windows regional setting or use the international standard date format.

    Did it say you have not enough disk space, for backup, and offered a link?
    I cant comment. Sames issues Since Feb 2012 when Pc-doctor was dumped.  It you dont like the fun software, uninstall it.

    I was able to succesffuly install my HP 1400 series all-in-one printer with my Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium PC.
    However, I can not operate the scanning function or configure scanning features  of the printer, since I do not have the HP Solution Center software installled on my Windows 7Home Premum PC.
    That is the HP support link for me to download tand install the HP Solution Center

    Hi Warren,
    I assume you simply plugged the printer without preinstalling any software. Please correct me otherwise.
    Please remove the existing device as following:
    Unplug the USB from the back of the printer.
    Enter Control Panel > Devices and printers
    Right click any 1400 printer icon, then click Remove Device.
    If there are several icons of your printer, repeat the same for any of them.
    Reboot your PC.
    Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    Left click once any presented printer (e.g. Fax), then click Print Server Properties on the Top bar.
    Click the Driver tab.
    If there is any 1400 listed, select it and click Remove.
    Select to remove the 2nd option. Remove printer driver and printer driver Package.
    Download and install the Full Feature Software for your printer (HP PSC 1400 Series) below:
    *Make sure not to connect the USB till prompted to do so during the install.

    I am having the same problem with my Iphone 4. After update the phone will not control audio from the control center (Friend with Iphone 4S is having same issue). Tried to reset phone and it started working "once". Next time I tried to use the control center it didn't work again. Their needs to be some kind of a fix for this?

    I've found a new way .. I restart the phone manually. And it works. But sometimes , the Problem reappears and sometimes it doesn't . But when it does , its just too annoying. Therefore, restarting the phone manually is a temporary solution. But what's the permanent solution for it? Let's wait and hope that someone comes up with one.
    And I hope this restarting hint solves your problem too.
    P.S- instagram or any other app won't make a difference. That's what i think .. Cz I don't have that app on my iPhone.

  • Solution Center problem

    My solution center always pops up on the screen.  It won't go away unless I stop it through the Task manager.  It says.  the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-Rom or other removable disk that is not available.  I cannot find my CD.  Is there a way to download this and where do I find it and which one do I down load?
    I have a HP officejet J4580 all in one.  My printer, fax & scanner have worked in the past.  The printer does work now but I cannot scan.  I am using window XP Media Center.  How can I soluve this problem??

    if u have the cd then open up the cd(do not install the software or run it)
    then open the up setup folder and u would find solution center there.
    then open it up then u  would find the solution center installer.
    then make a right click and click on repair.
    then the computer will prompt to restart the computer.
    then after restarting the computer the solution center will work.
    if it doesnt work uninstall L3 from the cd.
    the path is util>ccc>uninstall L3
    then try to install the software from the website.
    this will surely work.

  • Adobe Flash Player / HP Solution Center Problems!

    Last night everything was working fine. Until I installed the latest Flash Player 10.1.53.64 RC7. Upon reboot my HP Solution Center was corrupted triggered a pop up error and tried to get me to reinstall it. I did a restore back to earlier in the day and proved it was Adobe Flash Player. My HP Solution Center then worked great. Tried installing the latest Adobe Flash Player again and same problem. So I did another restore and everything is working great still. What conflict or what could be causing this bug in Adobe Flash Player 10.1.53.64 RC7 and HP Solution Center? Are you working on this and will there be a patch soon? Are you aware of this conflict?
    I am running indows XP Pro SP3 and my printer is an HP C4580 Photosmart. This same problem also happened on my Wifes Laptop running Windows Vista Home SP2 using the same printer. Very frustrated here.

    I can't add any widget or home screen app for facebook in my Nokia N8. I tried to Install 'Social update 1.2' But it didn't install. Phone says 'Unable to install." I tried to install from Ovi PC suite. But again got a message 'There was a problem installing the file. Error code: 2148535541"

    You can use the social application widget built into the phone , or try the Socially app which gives homescreen  notification and social contacts intergration with contacts.

  • Lenovo Solution Center install problem - Error 1721

    Hello, I'm trying to install Lenovo Solution Center to my computer again, after not properly uninstalling it. I simply deleted the files and repaired the registry thinking that it would be fine, and it is not.
    I'm getting the Error 1721 upon installing, installer tries to execute 'KillProcessLSC.exe' under Lenovo Solution Center folder and it cannot, since I deleted them. I need the files under Lenovo Solution Center folder so I can make the installer pass the 'Killing LSC' step, or at least think it passed.
    I got the idea to fixing it from this post. The guy restored the files from Recycle Bin and installer worked just fine. Since I already cleared my Recycle Bin and I did this over a year ago I cannot get the files from recycling. I simply need the files so I can make the installer execute the program it wants and passes that step that I get stuck on. If any other solution is available I'm free to try it, otherwise I'm pretty much sure putting the files in the Lenovo Solution Center folder will fix it. Thanks.

    Lsc during the last year has had issues where LSC software fails during a  manual run of hardware scan. Symptoms include Lsc service not available. You have the latest version of LSC.  Monitor what you see and post back if the "service not available"  screen shows up. Describe if this hardware scan was done manualy or a result of the scheduled monhtly run.
