HP Touchpad Ads not showing in browser

Normally this would not be a broblem for me. But I run a website that is a touchpad gaming site and I need the ads to show up corectly. If I go to my site on a pc browser or my iphone the ads show up. But if I go to the site on my toughpad they don't show. Nothing is visible. What is this? I downgraded to 3.0.2 and it still does it. So I have no clue what is wrong. I am about to reload 3.0.4 but want to know it there is a way to make sure it wipes out everything. The ads were showing up fine a week ago. My site is here at www.touchpadgames.com.
If anyone can go there on a TOUCHPAD and tell me if you can see the ads. I have no idea if this is just a problem on mine or everyones.
Thanks.

Hi djphatjive,
I think this has to to with how you are displaying your adds. I can't really tell what's going on with all the JavaScript, but I have a good guess as to why the adds aren't showing.
After looking at your source code, your <img> tag has an improper src property. It's using a relative path to a directory that doesn't exist on your server rather than using the absolute path to the GoogleAd server.
If you can correct that, you should be able to view adds from the TouchPad.

Regardless of the settings you choose, Firefox is not showing any browsing history. It's happening in version 3.6.20 for Mac as well as V 5 for windows. I see a lot of the same questions on the internet but no answers

I'm on Linux. There is no QuickTime for the Linux platform, but I see the player loading (caching) that movie. The Gecko Media Player doesn't seem to be able to play that file embedded, but does play it if I open the .mov file directly in the player.

  • Rapport does not show in browser

I use Trusteer Rapport as extra security on my Windows 7 Firefox browser, I cannot find why it does not show in browser bar, I have checked my Trusteer Rapport software, and can find no problem, so I am thinking this is being stopped by Firefox security as I have just updated Firefox to V5 and Rapport was working in the bar before. Any info I can use?

  • Adsense and other ads not showing up in Firefox or Safari

I've got a pretty irritating error coming up, no matter what I do I cannot for the life of me get ads to display in FireFox OR Safari. I've tried using different connections, and no dice. I've tried nixing every open process expcept a browser, and still.. I can't get those darned images to show! Any advice on how I might fix this would be much appreciated.

Interesting... most people would not complain at NOT seeing ads! Are you asking as a web developer concerned that ads on your site are not showing up? If so, this is not the forum for you, since it's probably a problem with your site and not with Mac OS X.
If, on the other hand, you are a twisted soul whose greatest wish is to be fully assaulted by the best weapons internet commerce has to offer, then I think more questions are in order. Do you have JavaScript enabled? Are you blocking image display? Are you accepting cookies? Are you behind some kind of content filter (such as the ones used at most public schools)?

  • Project pictures not showing in browser

When I moved a project into a folder although the pictures are still listed in the inspector as being in the project they do not show up on the browser.  How do I get them to show.  I am using the vault system.

In the split view I see nothing when I select the project.  When I select one of the albums below it the pictures show up in the lower line but not the upper part unless a lower one is selected.
I have done much since the controversial move so I'll have to wait till it happens again for a before & after.   But  these may help.  This is the browser mode.

  • Adsense ads not showing

Finally got my site uploaded to hostgator and but I can't get the ads to show. Are the ads disabled if you aren't on (the now defunct) Mobile Me? If so, what is a good web design program for Mac that I can run on 10.5.8?
Thanks in advance for any advice or help.
    Pam

Thanks, BGreg.  I tried that, and disabled the only thing that looked like it might be relevant (something called Ghostery), but it didn't make a difference.
For some reason, I can't find the window with the 3 things the Genius Bar guy disabled to make AdSense appear.  Since he did it for me instead of walking me through it, I have no idea where to find it.
Maybe it wasn't an add-on.  I realize I'm not very helpful, but I appreciate your attempt.
    Thanks.

  • Applet popping up in own window, not showing in browser

    Hello,
I have created an applet which is, by nature, supposed to load in the browser window.
In my case, it loads, but not in the browser, in its own window, outside of the browser.
    Any ideas?
    Haig

It sounds like you're adding your components to a Frame and then setting it visible. If you want your applet to be embedded in the browser, you have to add your components directly to the applet itself.

  • Pages Not Showing In Browser

    Hi all,
I am new to Dreamweaver, I was using the demo and just
    purchased the full version.
The pages I was working on do not show in IE 6.0 and prior.
They are fine in later versions of IE and in Mozilla and Netscape.
Any ideas on what I could have done to cause this?

  • CS3 jpgs do not show in browser

    Hi,
Whenever I save an image as a jpg from Photoshop CS3 it will not show up in any browsers. It shows as a broken image icon. If I open it up in Photoshop CS2 and save it as a jpg it then will show up. Does anyone else have this problem?
    Thanks

Warren, do you see the version I posted okay? (obviously, your link was good, because I was able to download the image)
I can only guess that it is either your upload process, or the final server, that is causing the issue.
You could download the version I posted, and try uploading it, because we know it is good...
Are you using an FTP program? Do you have another upload route you could try?

  • File Names and Ratings not showing in browser or viewer

I seem to have a bug where Aperture sometimes fails to show the file names or their rating.
This happens in both Browser & viewer modes. Just the blank background.
I can see the name in the Metadata tab, but not underneath the files.
    Any ideas

I'm having a similar problem. The U key is active and the photo name (referenced from Finder) shows up. But I can't get the ratings to show up. From what the instruction manual says, I should see the stars in the lower LH corner, but I don't see anything. I've looked to see if there is a way to make them show or hide, but haven't found it.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Sue

  • The Path to nowhere - help! swf files not showing in browser

i need help with getting a swf file to show in the browsers. (it previews in dreamweaver)
created a website in dreamweaver cs4. created a simple slideshow in flash 4.
on the index.html page inserted the flash file.
it previews in dreamweaver BUT when i text in browsers it shows as a white box.
have been reading through all the info about paths etc.
can you simplify this entry below from adninjastrator on the adobe forums sept 19 2011???........
"Still looks like a pathing problem to me. For review:
    Pathing issues
Almost always when it works on the local machine and not the server, it's a pathing problem.
You can put your Flash related files in whatever folders you want, they do NOT have to be in the root, they do NOT all have to be in the same folder. But if you have a problem and if sticking them all in the root folder works, then you know that the issue was a pathing problem.
Just remember that paths used in the .swf become relative to the Web page on which the .swf is placed, NOT it’s physical location.  So for example, if your .swf is in the flash/data folder and you use that .swf on a Web page in the root folder, you are in effect, removing that .swf from flash/data and putting it in root. So if the .swf is loading any related files (xml, images, video, etc), the path used inside the .swf to load the .xml file has to be relative to it's new location in root and then back down into flash/data. This is true even though when testing the .swf by itself, it can be inside flash/data and work just fine, since relative to it's location, the path is just fine, they are in the same folder. But if that same path is used when the .swf is placed on a page two folder levels up, the relative path has changed, the old "same folder" path will not work.
In fact if you are placing the .swf on a web page in a different folder than the .swf is stored in, and that .swf calls external assets, then direct clicking and opening of the .swf in it’s folder should NOT work! That’s because the paths to the external assets should be relative to the Web page and not the physical location of the .swf.
So just be sure that you use addresses relative to the final Web page locations (not physical file locations) and you can put the Flash related files in what ever folders you want.

i am not sure why this sounds so foreign to me.....
i understand the page code instructs the browser to find and load the flash file from a path.
i do not understand "/2812gtbros.swf (i.e. start at the root of the site and look for that filename in that location)
i have the html fla and swf file in the folder on my computer named 212GTflashpics (2012freelance/2012gtbrothers/212GTflashpics/2812gtbros.swf) and i have it in the website folder GTbrothers1 with all the images scrpts sprys and html files
the files be in the website folder o
    in your previous Question...
    "This line -
    <param name="movie" value="/2812gtbros.swf" />
is telling the browser to look for the flash file in the root of the website.  Is that where it is?"
what is before the / in the value=" /2812gtbros.swf? wouldnt that tell us the path of the file?

  • Applet not showing on browser even if its loaded

I have created an applet which has some textfields and buttons.
But when i want to see the applet in browser , it says it has been loaded but shows nothing. i have used swing for applet creation.
    help me out of this.

    What browser? What HTML code?
Email me and I'll send you an article I've written on this subject. It is NOT as simple as it was 10 years ago.
You'll need to use <APPLET> for macintosh, <EMBED> for MSIE and <OBJECT> for Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox/Opera. Then you'll need to understand 'code=' (see my reply to CleopatraL).

  • Clicks from new Google ads not showing in AdSense. Anyone resolved this?

My old ads show impressions/clicks fine. But clicks/impressions on new ads on my blog are not registering. This may have coincided with the MobileMe upgrade, but not 100% sure. Anyone having this problem?
