HR:
HR deals with the INFOTYPES which are similar to Tables in General ABAP.
There are different ways of fetching data from these infotypes.
There are different areas in HR LIKE Personal Admn, Orgn Management, Benefits, Time amangement, Event Management, Payroll etc
Infotypes for these areas are different from one another area.
storing of records data in each type of area is different
LDBS like PNP are used in HR programing.
Instead of Select.. we use some ROUTINES and PROVIDE..ENDPROVIDE.. etc
and in the case of Pay roll we use Clusters and we Import and Export them for data fetching.
On the whole Normal ABAP is different from HR abap.
For Personal Admn the Infotypes start with PA0000 to PA1999
Time Related Infotypes start with PA2000 to PA2999.
Orgn related Infotypes start with HRP1000 to HRP1999.
All custom developed infotypes stsrat with PA9000 onwards.
In payroll processing we use Clusters like PCL1,2,3 and 4.
Instead of Select query we use PROVIDE and ENDPROVIDE..
You have to assign a Logical Database in the attributes PNP.
Go through the SAp doc for HR programming and start doing.

PDF0 --> Convert form for remun.statement
PDF7 --> Delete form in customer client
PDF8 --> Copy form from SAP client
PDF9 --> Copy forms within customer client
PDFA --> Convert payroll journal form

Error for deletion flaged material

Dear Guru's,
Sales Order should not be generate for deletion flaged material.At the time of Sales Order creation system is giving warning massage like "Matetial is marked for
deletion" but i want error msg for the same.

As per my concern you need to use the User Exit to get error message when you save the sales order with the deleted material.i.e System should not allow to save the Order wirh deleted material.

Prevent calculation of Volume in Basic Data 1

Dear Experts ,
The system calculates the volume automatically when we input length , width & height.
But we donot want to maintain volume . How can i prevent it.

We are getting the dumps(150),TYPELOAD_NEW_VERSION with only one particular user in one of our production servers,there are a few background jobs scheduled with the same user and all the jobs have got finished successfully.
below pasted is the detailed dump message
Data type "MC11VA0ITM" was found in a newer version than required.
What happened?
Runtime error
The current ABAP program, "SAPLMCEX", had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed at runtime.
What can you do?
Try restarting the program.
If the error occurrs several times, consult your SAP administrator.
Choose "Print" to obtain a hard copy of the termination message.
You can use Transaction ST22 to display and manage short dump messages.
It also allows you to retain them beyond their normal deletion date.
Error analysis
The data type "MC11VA0ITM" was reloaded from the database while the program
was running.
However, the system found a version of the type that was newer than
the one required.

One of my inetrfaces i am using ABAP-XSLT mapping some times i am getting the following erre "Error while calling mapping program ZXXXX_XXX (type Abap-XSLT, kernel error ID CX_XSLT_RUNTIME_ERROR) No valid source context supplied"
What does it mean and what is the reason for that error.

Reg SDCCN and USMM - Abap runtime error

Exception : CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
When I run a T.Code SDCCN and USMM, got abap run time error
"SQL error in the database when accessing a table" that errors are below.
Internal Call code is ..........[RSQL/OPEN/TBTCO]
"DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"
"SAPLBTCH" or "LBTCHF19"
"EXECUTE_BP_JOB_SELECT"
The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
"EXECUTE_BP_JOB_SELECT" "(FORM)", or its possible occurrence must be declared
in the RAISING clause of the procedure.
This kind of errors found.
what can i do ? Pls give me advice

Hi,
If u want to have the required report catagory, while creating the program under Attributes in the initial ABAP Editor click change and then POP-UP will come there Give Logical database PNP and bottom u can find HR Report Catagory push button click on it, then another Pop-up window comes there in the input field Master data press F4 , SAP has allready provided no of Catagories chose one which meets u r requirement or else u can find Create HR Report Catagory in the same screen. Click on that and create as per u r requirement.

In Human Resources (HR), the following logical databases can be used as a data source for HR InfoSets:
PNP
PAP
PCH
By selecting a logical database, you determine the HR data that can be reported on using an InfoSet.
Logical Database PCH
This logical database generally enables you to report on all HR infotypes. However, you are advised not to use this logical database unless you want to report on Personnel Planning data.
Logical Database PNP
Use logical database PNP to report on HR master data. It is possible to use logical database PCH to access this data, but PNP meets such reporting requirements more quickly because it is best suited to the task of selecting persons.
Logical database PNP enables you to access HR master data and infotypes from Personnel Planning. For example, you have the following options:
Reporting on the costs, number of attendees booked, and instructor for a business event on which an employee is booked
Reporting on working time and planned compensation for a position that an employee occupies
Reporting on the validity and proficiency of a qualification that an employee fulfils
From a technical perspective, this means you can use PNP to report on all of the infotypes that exist for objects (infotype 1000) that have a direct relationship (infotype 1001) with the Person object.
The ability to access infotypes from Personnel Planning using logical database PNP is a special feature that you can only use in the context of SAP Query and Ad Hoc Query. You cannot use this functionality for ABAP reports you programmed yourself.
You can also use logical database PNP to report on data from Personnel Time Management (infotypes 2000 to 2999) and Payroll (special payroll infotypes for the USA and customer infotypes; for more information, access Customizing for the Human Resources Information System and see Payroll Results).

Logical database PAP enables you to access data from Recruitment.

The most easy Way is here:
1) Test any Webdynpro Application from SE80 when the webdynpro Browser opens to display output
Copy its HTTP link, Suppose we get the below link
http://r3d01web1.Siemens.dk:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/z_dynamic_view?sap-client=002&sap-language=EN
2) Now replace some part of the above link ( webdynpro/sap/z_dynamic_view?sap-client=002&sap-language=EN ) with the new link part ( gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=PA30 )
So that the newly generated link is such that the below one:
http://r3d01web1.Siemens.dk:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=PA30
Note in place of PA30 you can put any of your desired tcode.
3) Now Just Make a webdynpro component and in its View layout put a LINK TO URL ui element
and in its property REFERENCE just past the http link ( http://r3d01web1.Siemens.dk:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=PA30 )
4) Activate and test your webdynpro Application.
