My iphone has a smashed screen and my laptop which it was connected to has died under warrantee and been replaced. I am going to replace my iphone but want to back it up first. Unfortunately the screen wont work and there is a password on it meaning I cant access it from my itunes account on the new laptop. How can I disable the password from itunes and back up the phone. It wont turn off or activate any sliders.

You can't disable the password. If you could, what would be the point of having one?

SYnce them to the iPod from your iTunes library.
Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod.... and follow the instructions.

How can I re-download Digital Copies in HD from my iTunes Account?

I've been updating my iTunes library and re-downloading some films that I had taken off my old machine but I now have lots of room for all my films. It was a really nice surprise to get iTunes extras with a lot of the films I redownloaded. However, I wondered why this hasnt happened on all the films that I have in my library (SkyFall, American Pie: Reunion etc etc) even though they have iTunes extras show up in the store?
Also, why are my digitial copies not downloading in HD when they are all from Blu-Ray and available in HD?
Any advice/help would be much appreciated!

Your email address (used as your Apple ID) does not matter, because iPods are not directly linked to a particular Apple ID.
NOTE: You can still use your old Apple ID, even if your that email address is no longer valid. As long as you remember your Apple ID password. Go here and click on Manage your Apple ID.

First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

you can't sync songs from your phone to your computer, syncing is a computer to phone process. if you purchased songs on your phone from itunes and want them to go to your computer so you can listen to them there, you right-click on the name of your phone in itunes and choose 'transfer purchases.' these are the only songs that will go in that direction

Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

If she is using the same iCloud account you can sign into iCloud.com > Find my Phone > Devices > select her phone and wipe it only if she had Find my Phone enabled in the iCloud settings on the phone.

She needs to sign out on the phone.

Settings > FaceTime > Apple ID > Sign ut
