HT1212 What if the backup is putting in that passcode every time that I have forgotten?
Okay so everytime I go to restore to an old backup the old passcode automatically is put onto the iPhone so I can't access it because I don't remember it....
A) What do I do now?
B) Itunes is now saying this everytime I go to restore: "iTunes could not restore the iPhone "Scott's iPhone" because it is locked with a passcode".
What should I do Apple???????? Brilliant plan to reset a passcode or am I just confused at how to fix the problem?

That means that you have NOT successfully put the phone into recovery mode. Can take several attempts to get this right.

Again, iPhone passcode is not & never has been included in iPhone backup.

Once in recovery mode, you will be given the option of restoring from backup.

ChuckThis can be a highly frustrating problem. I just spent 45 minutes working on an email. Nearing the end I go to grab my mouse after typing and accidentally hit mouse 4 and lose everything. This isn't the first time I have lost work or an email. I would say the ONLY reason why there currently lacks a strong feedback against this is because the majority of people do not have mouse 4+5 buttons on their mice. Please add the option to just disable this "feature". It's just far to easy to accidentally hit these buttons accidentally and potentially lose a lot. I don't know anyone who actually uses these buttons anyways.

Since upgrading my Macbook to Lion, the time machine backups are failing - error message: "The backup disk image “/Volumes/Jackie Scanlon's Time Caps/Jacqueline Drabczynska’s MacBook.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1)." I have rebooted the TIme Capsule and it worked OK, but don't want to do that every time. Any suggestions? Thanks

I had the exact same problem and went crazy and spent a hecka lot of time trying to deal with my brand new 2TB Time Capsule and almost brand new MacBook Pro. Then I thought I fixed it...and I tried SO MANY things, I don't really know what did it...except taking out any apostrophe's in names of stuff that Apple puts in there...BUT...now it's back.

What is the best online storage for photos. Specifically one that allows the original image quality to be downloaded should your hard storage goes belly up
I'd put them on an external hard drive(s) and burn them to a DVD as well (at least 2 - 3 copies on different drives/media); I prefer having control and a local solution instead of relying on a server and the possibility of someone (who shouldn't be) downloading my work.

Get a "You Send It" account. Upload it an send them your family the link. They can download it and play it on their computer.
Or, put it up on YouTube as a private video and send them the link.

I,m getting this message, The backup disk image “/Volumes/terry bostock's Time Capsul/terry bostock’s iMac.sparsebundle” is already in use. What does this mean. I've upgraded to Mountain Lion, but it was ok till recently.
A constant bug in Mountain Lion.
Usually, simply powering off the Time Capsule, waiting a few minutes, and starting it back up will reset the network connection.
Give that a try first. -
Had to start Firefox in safe mode cause it kept crashing after i deleted the file. Now Fire fox Crashes every time I open it and I have to put it in safe mode just to use it, also it's not syncing with my iPad.
If you use Norton software, try disabling your Norton extensions. As of last week, there were severe compatibility issues with Firefox 24.

There is something wrong with the volumes buttons in my macbook pro, every time i pressed the one who raises the volume, it leads me to the screen where (i do not no what its called) the background is black with the date and time and a calculator. However, when i lower it, my safari tab goes out of the screen. What do you guys think i should do? I'm getting very nervous.

If you upgraded to Snow Leopard, then it would seem that Suitcase 11 is not compatible with Snow Leopard and you'd need to buy Suitcase Fusion 3 for $99.95.

i got new iphone and when i connect it to my pc, it lost all my current data and replaced it with the backup on my computer, which is from april. so i have lost all my calendar information and schedule. does anyone know how i can reverse this and get my information back?
Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.
