It probably means you don't have enough available storage on your phone. It takes space to store the download - THEN unpack it. Best method is to use a computer with iTunes (This allows you to back up on your computer as well).
PLEASE: Do not purchase iCloud storage space - this will not give you more room for the iOS 7.1 installation.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List. -

fter updating my IOS TO 8.1 (12B411) on 10/23/14, I went to update my blood sugar level in the IHealth app. And now after the new IOS update I'm unable to find the blood glucose option in the IHealth app. Did Apple remove it or just mess up AGAIN?
Apple removed blood glucose until further notice. The reason behind this is that it gave a distorted picture in countries where the medical world used other measuring units. I suspect it will be available again in a future update.

With the new iOS 7 update. Does anyone know what the setting "Bold Text" means or will do? Obviously I do know what Bold Text is. It says if you click on this, it says it will restart your iPhone. Before I do this, I'm just wanting to be sure I know what's going to happen.

-LeeIt just reboots the device and bolds the system fonts. No harm done. If you don't like it, undo the setting, it will reboot and back to as it was.

Trying to uninstall an older version of iTune on a PC running XP pro. It goes to end of install and has a conflict. Uninstalls the new version, but will not reload the older version. No iTunes will boot up.

Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

I tried to install Firefox 3.6.15 several times on my iMac. It then first downloads a file with a .dmg extension. When I try to open this file I get the message that the downloaded copy of this file is damaged. I retried several times, but that didn't help.
Try using http://ninite.com/java/ninite.exe to install Java. Please note that even though you download it you have to double click it to get it to run and install.

Laptop shutdown with more than 20% battery left
Hi,
I am using HP pavilion DVD laptop with Windows 7 home premium edition on it. It was working absolutely fine till a few months back when it started shutting down automatically when on Battery. Even though the settings are quite correct in advance power options, it most of the times shutdown (with any prompt) when there is more than 20% of battery left.
Any suggestions against this behaviour are more than welcome.

And HP is wondering why HP PC division is faring miserably? I have had one and only one HP laptop in my life and that will be the last!
The laptop case is cheap plastic, imperfections in the case clearly visible, battery issues (exactly like the one mentioned above) right after the warranty is over (just after 12 months), the LONE screw supporting the display hinge falls off resulting in cracked case/loose hinge and MORE!

The new MacBook Pro with retina display has more silent fans due to asymmetrical fans. My question is, if this change has been applied to MacBook Pro 13" & 15" versions.

The only Mac with the assymetrical blades is the 15" retina MBP.
And they are pretty darn effective(I can never hear the fans unless I open p something extremely power consuming and still they aern't as loud as my old Windows PC).
Mind you the MacBook can get a little uncomfortable if you keep the base in contact with your skin. Otherwise the fans are excellent.. -
My Iphone 4 switches off automatically with 60% battery balance and doesnt start, also when i connect it to my laptop it starts back and shows the battery balance and it stay on for another few hours even without recharging.
what is the reason for this. do i need to take it to the apple store to get it checked

Hi I am trying to update my email address since I quit work and left my work email address behind. I now only have one email address, but an iphone and ipod classic and want both of them to use the same email address - but am having problems using the address for my iphone as it is already attached to the ipod classic. Instead of steaming you can just download directly from the cloud. Don't you see the cloud icon with a downward arrow? You may have already downloaded then then. Turn off iTM and see if the songs are still present.
