The basic calendar data transfer is OK but the birthdays (little box icon) are a day early & cannot be changed to the correct date. The birthday entries in my Outlook contacts have correct dates.How can I fix this?

The following peocess corrects the calendar entry:
edit the contact & change the birthday, save the change; edit the contact & change the birthday to the correct value, save the change again. The calendar entry then displays on the correct date. Alternatively as a temp solution I can just de-select the "birthdays" calendar which stops the icon being displayed.
Thanks for your advice, I think that it's n going to be a slow process to fix all the entries for not much return.

Yes, I've that and it didn't work. Today, I reinstalled printer software on one printer and the "paused" message changed to "offline". It's a three-in-one printer. I turned off and on again and it still says "offline"

It sounds like you can't open your Music app on your iPhone after the update? First, try force closing the Music app if it is open in multitasking, which you can find out how to do here:

And if that doesn't work, I would reset the device:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I gather you are using Photoshop CS5? The most recent Camera Raw version that CS5 will accept is ACR 6.7. Support for the Canon 7D Mark II was added in ACR 8.7.1. You will have to use the DNG converter to covert your CR2 files to the universal DNG raw format. Here are the links for the DNG converter:

I installed LabVIEW 5.1 on an XP machine and some of the VI's, such as fit to curve, do not have icons. Instead, they have a ? where the icon should be, and they cannot be inserted into my VI's. Can anyone fix this?

I am using a Dell Inspiron I8100 Laptop with Windows XP Home and am running LabVIEW 5.1 in Windows 95 compatability [I also did so for the install to get rid of the "wrong os" message]. I am able to use nearly all of the functions, but a few of them did not make the transition to my machine. I cannot use some of the VI's contained in the Mathematics sub-palette, I cannot use some of the demos, and it is really setting me back. Instead of an icon for the Mathematics>>Curve Fit sub-palette I get a ? in an icon-sized box that says Curve Fit for it

From your discussion I have seen that you try to use LV 5.1.
It seems that 5.1.1 will work correct. The difference is that 5.1.1 is compatible with Win 2000 and 5.1 is not. This can by a issue.
Another thing I have seen under Win2000 is the rights a user has. Since you use XP Home there should be no restrictions to the user of the machine. One thing to take into account is do you install and use LV as the same user?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.

Facebook turns black when changing tabs... How can I fix this?

Whenever I'm on safari and I open my facebook it works just fine. But when I go to another tab and return to my facebook tab the page is all of parts of ik are black and I have to refresh the page for facebook to look normal. This has been going on quite a while and it never really bothered me, but now it's just getting annoying! Does anybody have a solution or know what to do? Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem but if you go back to another tab and quickly back to facebook it'll go back to normal. I know it doesn't solve anything but its an alternative to refreshing the page... probably just as annoying though

Firefox sent an email to me to confirm that I had asked the above question. The email had a link to click. When I clicked it from Firefox, nothing happened. Then I opened IE, signed into Comcast, opened the email, clicked the link, and it brought me here.
