You want one backup (ie Time machine) and one (or more) data archive of just all your raw files (drag and drop, or cloned etc.)

As has been mentioned Adobe Reader cannot export PDF page content. Nor can it create PDF or manipulate PDF page content.
What you can do is use one of Adobe's online subscription services. Two provide for PDF to Word export.
There's ExportPDF and PDF Pack.

How can i find a library that is on the same network as me so I can share?

There are multiple people on the network that share iTunes libraries, but the certain one I'm looking for is not showing up. Is there anyway for me to search for this specific library? I am using the most recent version of iTunes.

There is no way to search for a shared library. If the computer on which the library is being shared is on the same subnet as your computer, it should appear automatically. If it's not appearing, perhaps the library isn't really being shared or the computer is on a different subnet in which case you cannot connect to it; iTunes Sharing does not work across subnets.

Can't find movie files that are eating up my memory

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 inch, Late 2012) and last week I kept getting notifications that my memory was almost full so I checked out "Storage" under "About this Mac" and it showed that about 120 GB were being taken up by movies. I removed all the videos from my Mac and removed all my files from iPhoto, adjusted search criteria in Finder for movies, and emptied the trash and restarted my computer several times. Now it shows that I have 113 GB of movies and I can't find out where these alleged files are. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Do I need to reformat my computer?

If you are talking about rendering then just use any production codec that FCP supports. You have access to them all. Use the Render Cue or create a custom preset in the Adobe Media Encoder.
If you want to do something like dynamic link with FCP, that does not exist. You can save a PPro project as a FCP XML but any PPro effects or PPro settings unique to PPro will not come across. If you turn an After Effects project into a FCP project by going through PPro as was suggested then you will NOT get any of the effects you applied to your composition or any of the animation or anything but the footage In and Out points, opacity, rotation and position because that is all that will be moved into PPro because After Effects plug-ins are not compatible with PPro. If there is a dynamic link to an AE project in your PPro project that will not move to FCP at all. You'll get nothing.
So the long and short of it is if you want the work that you have done in AE to show up in FCP you must render the project. I use ProRez 444 10 bit for any work I do on FCP. You can make a custom Output Module preset to help speed up the workflow.

How can I extract .rar files that are dependent on the next in order to finish the extraction?

Ex: Part 1 finishes, then asks for part 2, so on so forth!
Trying to open something a colleague sent me, but is rather large. I have 5 .rar files. I cannot extract them seperatly or it errors/fails. Yet I cannot find a program that asks or searches for the next files in the extraction process. Tips? Programs that do? I know that WinRAR has what I need but they do not make a program for Mac, that I can get to work.
P.s. please keep in mind i'm new to macs, my first one! and i really know nothing mac-specific, howver i know a fair bit about computers.

It gave me the error when I ran the program, if I need to post a screenie I will. Also if unRarx does work, am I using it wrong? I've got all 5 .rar files together in one folder. Start unrarx, click browse, navigate to the first rar, click extract, then this error at the end:

Only a Gig of space left can't find FCP files that are taking up 45GB

My friend has FCP on a laptop, he shot a wedding, cut it in FCP on his PowerBook, he thought he removed the work files but his computer is down to 1GB of space left and he can't figure out what is taking up all the space.
Any thoughts what he should be looking for to clean it up? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like the footage is still on the computer, especially if you know the files are using up 45 gigs. I would try opening the project file (if you still have it). If anything isn't offline, right-click it and open the Item Properties. From the window that pops up you can find out where the item is being stored.
The best thing to do for a project is to set your scratch disk to a specific folder. Then, when you are done with a project, you can simply delete the folder and everything in it.
So check where the scratch disk was set to and delete any related items, and if you still have the project file see what's online and figure out where it's being saved.

Calendar events are part of your iPhone backup. If you synced with iTunes while these events were still on your phone and haven't synced again since losing them, restoring from this backup should recover them. Note: restoring from an earlier backup will revert all data and settings on your phone to those in the backup, not just your calendar. If you have newer data you must save this before proceeding. Then do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically". This prevents you from inadvertently overwriting the backup you are trying to restore from by triggering an automatic sync when you connect your phone..
Now connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing.

Actually the real space it needs for download and upgrade it's a bit bigger, few more than 4Gb. Make sure you sync with iTunes so you don't loose anything. Moreover, you can safely delete any app because you can download it later on as it is linked to your Apple ID.
