Hi, i'm looking for an old MAIL version for 10,6,8 OSX.
I can't find it in the installation CD. I can't find it on the web.. Someone coud help me ? Thanks

Yes. The mail version you require is 4.6 (1085). This should be on the Snow Leopard Combo update per the link below.
Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
If you are still on 10.6.8 it will not hurt your files to download and apply it but be aware, it is a big update and takes some time.
Oh, and if you do take up the Combo download, there are several software updates you must follow up with, dealing with security and iTunes.

A while back I was running Snow Leopard & had installed an add on to the apple mail program that allowed me to alter the window showing the new incoming posts to where I could hi lite an email & the contents would show in a window to the right of the list of all the received emails. I have a friend still running 10.6.8 & I would like to instal it on her computer. Anyone remember what the program was called?

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Im trying to load my old PS CS2 and its looking for my old disk of 5.5 or higher.. I lost the disk but have the SN# how do i load this. I know in the past Adobe helped me do this..??

When you install the upgrade, the installer will check for a previous qualifying version already installed on your computer. If it cannot detect one, it will ask you to input the serial number for the older software version to verify if it is a valid upgrade.
Once you input the serial number, the installer will use that as a qualifying criteria and continue installation.

Netflix does in fact have the old version of their app available.
In iTunes on your computer, download the App you want a compatible version for using the same Apple Id that the iPad has for the App Store. For Paid Apps its best to consult with the App maker to make sure there is a compatible App. With the App Downloaded to iTunes on a computer you can go into The App Store App on your iPad, Tap on Purchased, and Look for the App there. Tap on it to begin the download. It will likely say its not compatible, but if there is a compatible version it will offer to download it. Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X

I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Post your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
If you have already changed your account information with Apple at my Apple ID, in order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

Loaded up iTunes, no problem, downloaded all the songs I've purchased, but when it came to syncing, it said the phone was looking for my old computer. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

See these steps for setting up Wi-Fi syncing between your iPhone and new computer:

Wi-Fi syncing
Open iTunes
To set up Wi-Fi syncing, connect your iOS device to your computer with the included USB cable. Select your device under Devices on the left-hand side.
In the Summary tab, select "Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi".
Whenever the computer and the iOS device are on the same network, the iOS device will appear in iTunes, and you can sync it. The iOS device will sync automatically when all of the following are true:
The iOS device is plugged in to power
iTunes is open on the computer
The iOS device and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi network
While the iOS device appears in the left-hand column of iTunes, you can select the content tabs and configure sync options.
Click Apply or Sync to sync the iOS device.
If the iOS device does not appear in the Devices section or you are unable to sync, please see this article for troubleshooting.

maybe even before mxp's - I'm hoping that it will for me in
FW8.
It was an animation tool which took an object and based on
your input
faded the object and then brought it back to full opacity. If
I remember
correctly you defined the speed and opacity levels in the ui
and the
tool then created the animation, frames etc.
Does anyone remember this and if so where I can get it.
btw - I'm thinking J Lowrey may have been the creator - but
that is a
guess :-)

I haven't searched, but I'm sure you should be able to find it on the Internet. I found older firmwares for my rv016 this way. You can also try contacting Cisco as they may be able to send it to you.

Renamed a 2012 license server but it still looks for its old name

I renamed a Server 2012 machine that I had installed remote desktop licenses on. The server shows the licenses are available under the new name, but when you log in remotely, it's still looking to the old name as the license server. There isn't any remote
desktop configuration function on 2012, so where do I tell it to look to the new name for licensing? When I do licensing diagnosis, it still shows that it's looking for the old name.

If the server is part of collection in a RDS deployment then you would set the licensing server name in Server Manager -- RDS -- Overview -- Tasks -- Edit Deployment Properties -- RD Licensing tab. If the server is standalone (not part of RDS deployment)
then you may set the licensing server name in the local group policy (gpedit.msc). The setting is under this path:
Computer Configuration\ Administrative Templates\ Windows Components\ Remote Desktop Services\ Remote Desktop Session Host\ Licensing
