HT1386 i got a used ipod touch and when I connect it - it doesn't show up on my computer. I have an Itunes account and it does not show my device at all. any clue what I', doing wrong? The ipod is on and plugged in
I am having trouble - when I turn on my ipod touch - the only thing on the screen is a usb cable with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. I got it from a friend who cleared all of his stuff off of it. I can't get any of the stuff I downloaded on it. maybe it didn't sync with my computer. it doesn't show up when I go to the itunes store on the top bar next to the library tab either. HELP ! lol

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????
Please advise,???

My Company has recently issued company ipads. I currently havea iMac for personal use in which I have an iTunes account. Is there a way to down load all the music I have on my iMac itunes account to my iPod as well? Also will I be notified on email when I have a response to my questions? Thanks for your response!

Just bought new iPod touch. When I connect to computer to sync it tells me "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not send a message to device." Not sure if it is b/c of an older version of iTunes but connecting via wifi sync unacceptable
What version of iTunes is on the computer? You need at least 11.4.

If you mean iTunes libraries, import the files and playlists from one library to the other.

Hi,
Just bought a new camera (Nikon D610) and found out that Camera Raw in Photoshop Elements 11 does not support the RAW (NEF) files. Works fine with the Nikon D5200. PSE11 states that it's up to date. Support documents on Adope Website do not help at all. Some say the D610 is supported other say it's not. If I have to update Camera Raw, which version do I have to use for PSE11? Where can I find the download file?
I find it somehow strange, that it's not possible to contact the support in a common way, but have to use this Adobe Community. Anyway, if it works... :-)
Would be great, if someone could give me a hint, how to solve the problem.

BorisJust got the new PSE12 and found out that Camera Raw 8.4 plug in can not be installed, if the system runs on Vista!
So I got a new Nikon camera, new software (which can not be send back) and it looks like that I will need new system software and probably a new PC... :-( -
So my ipod 5 wont charge nor turn on and whenever i plug it with thee charger all it shows is the low battery sign with the lighting bolt under it and i left it like that but like the title says its been like that for 2 days straight and it still wont turn on nor charge. I dont know what to do. It won't be able to reset or respond to any of my actions. i tried the DFU mode but it wont work unless its on. PLEASE HELP!
Sounds like the battery is dead. Take it to Apple and ask them to check it out for you.

I've got itunes on my computer and have an iphone synched. My girlfriend has just bought an iphone but her old computer is broken, so she has an itunes account but can't access it.
She has connected her iphone to my computer and at the set up specified that it was a new phone, however there doesn't seem to be any option for her to select a different itunes account?

you could authorize your iTunes to play/use content purchased with her iTunes account.
that's basically very easy. all you have to do is +log out+ of one account (click on the account name in the Store window and select +sign out+ from the pop-up dialog) and into the other, and then they will both be authorized. (be sure to just *log out*, not de-authorize ).

when i want to sync my ipod touch 4g it doesn`t work so the ipod gets into maintenance condition and i have to restore it ( sorry for my english i´m from germany )
all operatins systems are on the newest version: That means newest ipod software and newest i tunesYes, but the upgrade would have started a whole new ball game and their may be a collision occurring/problem with the driver for either device. Check the sites for each and see if there are any updated drivers available (is the mouse a Logitech?) and install them. If the problem persists go into Device Manager and manually assign a much higher device letter to the iPod, such as M: or T:.

I have an iphone 4S and have a ringtine app. This app needs me to have a ringtone option in the left hand menu of my itines. I do not have a ringtone option.
I ahve tried to use the support website but as my itunes account is not on apple hardware, it is on a Dell laptop, I can not get a serial number and therefore can not progress. How do I get the necessary serial number to allow me to the support section?iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>General>Show>Tones.

I have had my frist account for a very long time. I was the first in the family to an apple product. After awhile my family joined in on my account. So instead of having to deal with all their music getting on my ipod/iphone I created a new account. Well, I recently updated my iphone and for some reason it wouldnt let me listen to my music. It would just skip around and never play anything. So I ended up deleting it all and tyring to start over. I have all the music from my first account on it but now it wont let me put my music from my second account. It says " This Device is already associated with an apple ID" " If you download past purchases with you Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days." then it gives me the option to "cancle" or "transfer". I dont know what to do after that. I am scared to click transfer because I dont want to lose any of my music I had just loaded on. Help?
It is not telling you to update your iphone, it is telling you that you need to update itunes on your computer.

Am attempting to create an in-app purchase with a few files embedded. It appears that the hosted content selection would be what I need, yet Application loader is not accepting a .pkg (or .mpkg) that PackageMaker has created after I loaded the files into PM. What am I missing?
I have the same problem. Apparently PackageManager is for creating bundles for the Mac and not for in-app purchases.
Im just about to quit on host the in-app purchase on apple and just creating my own server for that. Its very frustrating because there´s no documentation on how to create a iOS in app package. In the application Loader documentation is assumed that the package is already created. -
iTunes has stopped synchronising my iPod Touch. When a reserve copying begins, sunchronising just stops. Usually. I tried to update iTunes, but this didn't help me. For God's sake, someone, please, help me!
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

It seems like your iPod touch is not recognized by iTunes on your Mac, but your iPhone 6 is working normally.
I recommend starting with these steps to troubleshoot your iPod touch and connection with your Mac:
Check your USB connections
Unplug other USB devices from your Mac and try again.
Try a different USB port.
Try a different USB cable.
Restart your device
Restart your iOS device or reset your iPod.
Restart your Mac
Turn your Mac off and back on.
Update your software
Check for software updates on your Mac.
Check for an iTunes update.
Check your security software
If you have security software installed, learn how to resolve issues between iTunes and your security software.
