If you don't know the sender, then it is most likely a scam or spam email. I get them every day - I just delete them. I also get daily notices from Facebook or someone called Adriana at Facebook even though i do not have an account there. Can't do anything about it - just delete it.

I know this question has been asked before, but the only place I can find it is in the archives so the topic is locked and there are no answers in it.
I would like to know why SOME users have to reset their password every few months (a big, unnecessary pain in the rear if you ask me) while OTHERS do not.

I have to change my other Apple Discussions ID (now inactive) as that account is associated to both iTunes Store and Apple Store online.
This account I only use for AD and so never have to change the password.
I guess where money is involved security needs to be tighter.

I have been dealing with this problem for some time now. I am using a Torch 9810 (software v 7.0.0.261) and every few months I get a "JAVA ERROR", having no choice I do a battery pull.
The phone boots back up, then all of my emails are gone! new emails are delivered to the device, however the entire archive of emails are gone.
Any idea why this happens, and what I would need to do to get this fixed?
I have three email accounts, one on a BES, one gmail, and one standard pop.

If you mean getting updates for your operating system (Gingerbread, ice cream sandwich), there is no number to call. Updates come automatically to your phone. If you are referring to getting a new phone, there is no way you can do that every few months. You are bound to a two year contract with the phone(s) you have. There is nothing preventing you from buying a different phone at full cost, however.

If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. I'm having the same issue. Just hooked up a Mac Mini and running the internet just fine over wifi, but Facetime isn't working. I'm going to try resetting my router in the morning.

Itunes can't read songs to sync. Every few songs Itunes stops the sync because it can't read the song.

When I sync my ipad or iphone, Itunes will start syncing but after every few songs it syncs, itunes interupts the sync with a message saying it can't read the song. I can go to that song in my list of music and play it in itunes but itunes can't read it to sync. This has just started happening in the last week, 06/28/13.

I didn't understand what you mean. Most of the songs itunes flags are songs I have had on my list for a long time. I did notice something else. After it sends me the message and stops syncing. I press the apply button and it seams to save the song. Then I have to start resyncing and I noticed it syncs the song that it just previously couldn't read. The problem is I have to do this 50 times to get through a sync. Also, Itunes never stops on the same songs that it did the prior sync.

IPhone constantly turns its self off every few minutes

My mother came to me with her iPhone, and told me about this problem she has been having, and this is the best way I can think of to state it.
Her phone turns its self off every few minutes. It never does it while she is using it. It's only when she puts it in her pocket for a little while and then pulls it back out to use it again. It also will not turn on by doing the normal way of holding the ON button for two seconds. It will only turn on when you reset it by holding the On and Home buttons at the same time, and it seems to take much longer than it does on my 3G. It sometimes will only turn on by connecting it to the charger, because the reset method isn't working. She claims it has not had low battery while doing this, because she keeps it charged. I have observed myself to make sure, and the phone is almost 100% charged the last few times it has done this.
Any suggestions out there?

Since a doing a reset has not resolved the problem, the next step is restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the backup. If no change after restoring from the backup, restore as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
If no change after either restore method, time to give AppleCare a call at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

For the past few month my phone line periodically goes dead - no tone at all - with all incoming calls going straight to 1571. I have a cordless phone downstairs plugged into a socket splitter plug at the wall and a ring tone amplifier - I'm partially deaf - plugged into the other side of the socket splitter. My wall connections were put in 25 years ago when we moved here.
I've had the amplifier for years and it's never given any problems.
I also have BT Fibre-optic broadband and a BT You View box connected up to the system, though my provider is EE.
Upstairs I have a corded phone -in case of power cuts- plugged into the wall .
When my line goes dead, no amount of disconnecting or reconnecting equipment downstairs solves it, but picking up the dead upstairs phone and pressing the disconnect button a few times makes things burst into life. I get dialling tones on all phones and all is well again.
I run a business from home and although I have a mobile number, I really do need my landline to be reliable.
Has anyone any ideas on how I can solve this or what the problem might be? I live in an urban area and have had no problems in the past with this line. Thanks.

Changing Monthly Billing Amount every few month.

I am tired of calling ATT every other month. From two years ago, the monthly billing number quoted to me in writing changed in the morning of installation. After I refused installation, the email confirmed quote was honored. After one year, the number keep on changing. I called before the end of the first year to receive promise of fixed monthly charge for the second year. The numbers were never honored. Every one month or two it will go up by $8 to $10 dollars. When I called, it was clear that the original promise was recorded on the ATT computer. The commitment was simply ignored. On July 23, 2015, the number was confirmed to be for $104 until the end of September 2015. In September, I was suppose to call and confirm new numbers for the next 12 months. The August 20015 bill incereased again. This seems to be a patent of how ATT does business. It is designed to not honor commitment and mislead customers. As much as I like Uverse, I might have to move on to Comcast. I am not sure if cable company will be better. Any advice on how to get an honost commitment from ATT on a fixed number not change for 12 months or 24 months? By the way the staff I talked with just promised number not change, and 10 minutes later admitted that the number could increse by $25 or more in couple months. I have the employee number of this guy. ATT is supposed to be a reputable company. What happened? Do they have to behave this way just to improve their profit margin?

Z10 heating when not in use, battery dead in 4 hours

I've had this problem since monts. Even with no apps running and phone not in use, the phone become very hot and battery goes flat in 4-5 hours even less in some cases. It's becoming useless and even in the shops (e.g. Vodafone, Carphone warehouse) they tell you not to buy the phone because of the battery problems.
On the web there's plenty of ppl complaining about this but I can't find a solution that works.
Customer service of blackberry on twitter is totally useless since they tell you to go to a store and that's all they know. But if you purchased the phone in an airport as I did, you can't do that.
No other ways to contact blackberry and no way to get someone service the phone, since shops like Carphone warehouse service only theirs (same mobile phone carriers).
Any hint??
