The first time I synced my iphone 4 with my mac, I didn't realize that all of my photos from the iphoto library would transfer over to the phone (more than 3,000). Now, I need to remove some, as they are taking up too much space. I cannot figure out how to remove them from the phone. I tried to uncheck boxes and sync again, but I get a message that there is no room on the iphone. I've read as many articles as I can find, but still cannot manage this. Thanks for any help.

If the Photoalbums were loaded from iTunes on a computer they can only be removed by Itunes and a computer.
If the albums were created on your iPhone then they are deleted on your iPhone,
Ih tyey are iTunes sourced albums you need to connect back up to iTunes/computer that you have been using. In the device Photo tab deselect all the checkboxes that are being asked to sync.
Select apply in the lower right corner.

I wanted to see what was in the loops folders but now will never use them and I need the space.
Yes, I am logged in as the administrator. When I drag a loop to the trash it does nothing. The trash doesn't recoginize the item as trash and doesn't pop up and say trash like it does when I drag items from other programs to the trash.

How do I get my 300 playlists back on my IPhone after installing new IPhone software? The playlists still show in my ITunes on my computer but not in my IPhone. When I switch to synch by playlists and begin checking off the lists, the memory bar fills up. These lists are suppose to be in the ICloud and not go against my memory . I had access with my playlists to more than 18,000 somgs on my IPhone until this new Apple IPhone software update came alg. What do I do?
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

Hello. When I turned on my Ipone 4s today all of my contacts were gone. They are backed up in iCloud but can't figure out how to get them from there back to my phone. Aren't them supposed to sync automatically over wifi? Can someone please help me?

Check to make sure that Contacts is toggled on to sync by going to Settings > iCloud. Also go to iCloud.com to see if the contacts are showing up there to see if it syncing those contacts.

I trasferred pictures over from my computer to my iPhone 5 and now i cannot delete these pictures from my phone, and i cannot work out how to delete them from my phone by the computer as the pictures do not show up in my files on the computer, how can i remove them i have over 400 pictures that need removing?
If you have a Mac with iPhoto, plug the iPhone in and open iPhoto. Choose to import the photos. Once they have been imported, there should be an option to "Remove Imported Photos from Device". Choose this.

I want to change my apple id primary e-mail from a .msn address to a .gmail address. The problem is that currently my .gmail address is my recovery address; I cannot figure out how to remove and replace my gmail recovery address with a new e-mail address. I want to do this because I no longer use my .msn address.
You should be able to change your rescue address by going to My Apple ID, signing in to manage your ID, then selecting the the Password and Security section, and answering the two security questions. If yes, just right-click on one of the other tabs and select "Basic" from the context menu that's presented. -

The last time I synced my iphone to itunes, I lost all my contact info, photos, calendar, and voice memos. This time I still have them, but I lost all the apps I had downloaded. Also, I just bought an ipad, and itunes does not recognize it.

Storage says apps are taking up too much space!
in About This Mac > More Info > Storage, my Mac seems to be taking up 48GM in apps! I can't find what apps are taking up so much space. I'd like to delete some stuff and free up some space. I used Daisy Disk to try to see what's taking up space, but that utility says my apps aren't taking up nearly as much. Has anyone else had this problem?
