HT1414 Attempting to restore my iphone 4 to factory settings. My computer is refusing to allow me to do it. Stating that cannot verify the reset and cannot connect with Itunes at this time, try back later. Can anyone help me bypass this message.

Itunes will not let me restore iphone 4 to factory settings. I have an iphone 5 now and just looking to reset. Saying that it cannot verify the reset with apple. Any help on how to reset the phone and bypass this message. THanks

Reset iPhone, Reboot Computer.
This happens if
iPhone was hacked and iOS modified. And/or
Computer was used for hacking this or any other iDevice.
Check Hosts file, if it has any entry gs.apple.com. Put # in front of the entry. Reboot and try Restore.
Restore on another computer which has clean Hosts file.

You certainly are not following my work flow - that is the info window in the main iPhoto window
I said (steps numbers for ease of following my work flow)
1 - Simply select the photo and
2 - print,
3 - select the printer,
4 - Select the paper size and
5 - select a print size (keep the image ratio in mind so you do not get unwanted cropping) that will fit the required number of photos on the page with small borders - you have to do the math - and
6 - if the preview does not show multiples of the same photo click customize,
6 a - click settings and
6 b - select multiples of the same photo on a page -
the preview will reflect this selection - and
7 - print

If you've forgotten the passcode and it's now locked then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) , and you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

If the phone was hacked to unlock it, it will not be able to activate until and unless the original carrier authorizes unlocking it. Since the UK carriers will not authorize an unlock for a phone that is not actively in use on their network, and you will not be able to activate it on any network until after it is unlocked, you will most likely not be able to activate and use it at all. It's a catch-22.
Return it to whereever you bought it and get a refund. Then buy a phone from a legitimate source.

When was the last time you did a backup with iTunes? If your latest backup has all of the material you have been using you can recover by connecting to the computer you sync with and restore the content via iTunes. Attach to your computer, open iTunes and do a backup restore.

I have a new computer with windows 7 and I downloaded the latest version of iTunes and when I open iTunes it wont show up in the devices section. My computer recognises it in the usb 2.0 slot but, iTunes wont. My ipod nano is being detected by itunes but cannot be identified properly. I have already been through the steps advised on apples website including reinstalling itunes and this has not worked. Can anyone help me resolve this problem?

I am using a HP laptop with windows 8. I have installed the most up to date version of itunes.

Nevermind that first part as I forgot that nothing shows up for the Nano at all in Device Manager,

Do you maybe have your contacts separated into groups? If so, perhaps you have unchecked the group that the missing contact are in.
In the Contacts app, click the Groups button in the upper left corner. Make sure all groups have a check mark next to them.

That's a folder containing several apps. Look for it on another page. If you still can't find it, you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. That will place all the original apps in their original locations with any added apps following in alphabetical order.
