What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located. Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed). Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.

As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc.

Reboot your router. You by chance dont have a netgear N300 WNR2000 router do you? I had one of those and would lose wifi on it constantly, Switched to a Cisco wifi router and it works much better.

This was the scenario:
The first time I updated, it was only my music that was lost.
When I got my music back, I lost my apps.
When I got my apps back, my contacts, notes and photos were lost.
Now I got back everything except for my photos.
(Yes, I restored from backup several times since the first update.)
Do you think if I try restoring from back up, my photos that were taken from my ipod will be restored finally?

Use View -> Status bar ; and click on it so the tick/check mark appears.
Note in the next version firefox 4 the status bar is being replaced see [[What happened to the Status Bar?]], and if you want something similar you will then need to use an add-on.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

its pretty much as easy as the question in the title bar, my fiancee has deleted iphoto by accident.
I didnt get any disk with the computer when i got it (its a macbook - the white model, ive had it nearly 2 years) and i know this for sure because the box and all enclosed papers are in my home office, ive checked through and looked online and found something about a download code that some people get if the software is already on the computer... i dont know how true it is, but then again I dont seem to have a code either.
If anyone has a clue please let me know - in all honesty I really like this app and I hate the idea that I may not get it again just because of something silly like an accidental deletion when i've essentially paid for the product in the cost of the macbook.
Sorry to get long winded on you all but there it is - hope someone can help me - and if ive posted anything to the wrong place im sorry! be gentle folks, its my first time on the community boards!

What system did the Mac come with and what system are you running now? If it's 2 years old, i.e. bought in 2010 then it came with Leaport or Snow Leopard installed and would have had install disks. Included in those disk would be a disk similar to one of these:
That would have included iPhoto 8 (09) if bought before October 20, 2010 or iPhoto 9 (11) if bought after that date. In either case you should have a disk like in the screenshot. If not then you'll have to purchase an iLIfe 11 boxed disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11 and install your missing applications from it and then apply the latest updaters from the Apple Downloads web page/

I was updating my iphone in itunes, then it said the update went wrong and now does not recognize the phone. Says that it is an unknown iphone and I must restore the phone. How can I get it back without deleting all of my stuff?

I was updating my phone in itunes and the "update went wrong" and now the phone is not recognized by itunes. I unattatched the phone and it wont turn on or off, just shows a picture of the itunes symbol and a usb cord. In itunes it says that it is an unknown iphone and is in recovery mode so I need to restore the phone. If I restore the phone I loose all my pictures, which I dont want to do...and my contacts. Is there any way around this, so I can get my phone back to normal without wiping it all out? Thanks

In the past Firefox always restored my active tabs when I restarted it. This time it didn't and I can't figure out how to get them back. The restore option in history didn't work either.

I Had previously had my phone synced to my old computer (2011 mbp). This macbook pro is new and I was waiting for iOS8 so I could update everything at once. Once ot was all done and upgraded, i checked and my promary notes, the ones stnced with my gmail account, were completely gone! How can I get these notes back? They Re very important.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Offand, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
If these do not solve the problem you can restore from a current iTunes or iCloud backup.

I updated my Iphone 3Gs to the new system iOS, and after doing this I noticed there was no longer a camera on my phone. I attempted to sync my phone to the computer, reset my screen settings, and even restore my phone. Nothing has helped. I attempted to download a new camera app in the apple store but it does not work without the original iPhone camera.

None of the included apps can be deleted.
Is Restrictions enabled at Settings > General > Restrictions?
If so, is Camera turned on as a Restriction?

You may not have a backup of those files, then. Have you checked for backup according to this knowledge base article:
