HT1478 I found my old iPod that I haven't used since about 2010, and I no longer have the computer that the library was synced with. Is there any way to get my music off of it so that I can put it on my new iPod?

I found my old iPod that I haven't used since about 2010, and I no longer have the computer that the library was synced with. Is there any way to get my music off of it so that I can put it on my new iPod? The old one is a 30 GB from 2005.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back.  So probably won't run on modern operating systems.  If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

  • Our hard drive on our 27in Mac crashed and was replaced. Is there any way to get our music/movies from our iTunes account back?

Our hard drive crashed (it was the one that was recalled) and Apple replaced it. Is there a way to access our iTunes account and get our music/movies back? Or do we have to re-download everything? What about music we purchased?

Perhaps without a lecture level 10, it has long been a basic requirement to backup one's computer. Of course who would have thought one would have to backup something that is downloaded from a premium service like Apple's iTunes with the iCloud.
Much of the media purchased from Apple appears to be redownloadable, except for things that are arbitrarily not (because of licensing or whatever, but these reasons are not apparent to us, the lowly customer).
This is hard to understand until one has a problem, and finds the article listed above, or tries to enter a support ticket and ends up in the forum with someone who has obviously answered too many questions.
So how about we ask that a product manager at Apple consider a novel new feature - provide an online locker for movies purchased with real money through iTunes.
Let's call it iCloud and tell the world about it!

If you haven't got a backup copy and if it's still in the store then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download (there is no guarantee that they will) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • HT204266 I purchased a navigational app yesterday and it is not what I was wanting.  Is there any way to get a refund from a purchase if its been less that 24 hours.  This app was $50.00!!!

I purchased a naviational app yesterday and it is not what I was wanting.  Is there a way to get
a refund if it's less that 24 hours ago?  The app was $50.00

Purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will credit or refund you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

my computer crashed and lost my itunes, now i have a new computer...is there any way to get my music back from my account

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, not good, then you can redownload some purchases in some countries.

    - Just transfer the apps and iBooks to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
In iTunes 11 use Control+B to show the Menu bar then go to iTunes>File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
    - Preferences and photos taken by the iPad are included in the backup that iTunes makes

  • Is there any way to get my music back?

i bought all of my music/videos from my ipod touch. it then got stolen and i have no music on my computer. however, my account does show my purchase history. my question is, is there any way to get the media content on my computer since i purchased it all?

You do not need a serial number. Select "Music Purchases" then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll see an "Email Us" button which will take you to a form via which you can contact the iTunes Store.

  • I deleted contents from pages school report by accident. is there any way to get it back. I reopened the file and it is blank, I deleted the contents from a school report by accident. is there any way to get it back. I reopened the file and it is blank

I opened a file to print and by accident highlighted and deleted the content. Then in a panic I closed the file and now when I open it is blank. Is there any way to get it back.  I have looked and can not see anyway. I dont have anything in my backup?

I'm not sure about older versions, but in Pages 3.x (OS X 10.9.x) select File > Revert To > Browse All Versions.  Hopefully there will be an earlier version that you can "revert to".

  • TS2481 All of my calendar history older than 30 days has disappeared from my iphone5.  I have not synced it with my computer.  It just suddenly disappeared.  Is there any way to get it back?

All of my calendar history older than 30 days has disappeared from my iphone 4S.  I did not perform a sync with my computer-it literally just disappeared!  Is there any way to get it back?

Unfortunatly for me I did not, do you think there might be any other way? Maybe by accesing it directly through direct USB contact and not through iTunes?

  • I recently had to have my computer wiped.  I cannot find the CD I backed up my I-Tunes library onto.  Is there any way to get my music back?

I recently had to have my computer hard drive wiped.  I backed up all my I-Tunes music but now I can't find the DVD or CD.  Is there any other way to get my music back?  Thank you for your help.

    Unfortunally not.
Although, if you bought them on iTunes you can redownload them.

  • Is there any way to get my music that I've downloaded via different apps or made via my MusicStudio to show up on my music app?

I have been researching and trying different apps all night and I've ended up spending four dollars that I ended up wasting. I'm sure there's a very easy answer.  I have an iPad, it is the newest iOS software, my question is, is there anyway to get the music that I've downloaded on say Amazon or that I've made via my MusicStudio app to show up in my music on my iPad without having to then download it to my computer to get on iTunes to transfer from my computer to my iPad again?  I've got the music on my iPad, but both of the apps that I use to make a video with the music just use the native music app to search for the music on the iPad and shows the some 69 songs that I've either downloaded via iTunes or transferred from my laptop to my iPad. it won't show any of the other stuff that is on there. Is there any app that I could get that will help me to add music to my  native music app so we'll show up or is there anything I can do other then transferring it from iTunes on my laptop back to my iPad?
    Thanks.

You will need to go via your computer's iTunes - to get music into the Music app you either need to download it directly on the iPad from the iTunes store app, or sync it from your computer's iTunes

  • Is there any way to get itunes music from my ipad to my ipod without a computer and only 4g?

Lets say you have an ipad (a new one) and an ipod.  Thats all you have.  The ipad has 4g.  You can have access to other small hardware devices like cables and stuff but no other computer like device and no wifi internet.
Is it possible to get itunes music from the ipad and onto the ipod with just this?

Would those work if I am using the 4g wifi hotspot on the ipad to get the music onto an ipod touch?  I am willing to give up third party music if this would work. Just not sure if it would work since the 4g wifi has that 50mb restriction

  • Is there any way to get video information off of app MxTube

My touch screen is currently not working, and I'm trying to get all of my stuff off of it before I get a new one. I'm having a particularly hard time with this app...does anyone know how to see what videos you had cached on there?
NOTE: my touch screen DOES NOT WORK

    Does iTunes see the iPod?
If yes the easiest way is to backup the iPod and restore another iPod, iPhone or iPad from that backup.
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That app may use file sharing so if you iTunes sees the iPod get the info via file sharing.
    iOS: About File Sharing
Otherwise go to the developer's support site

  • Since upgrading from FF 3.x to 8.0.1, I'm experiencing more hangs and crashes. Most recently, FF lost ALL OF MY OPEN TABS. Is there any way to get them back?

I had a TON of browsing history in those tabs and there is NO WAY I could recreate it all manually. Is there any possibility that FF could get them back even though the "Restore Previous Session" menu option is greyed out? BTW, I've had more hangs and crashes with 8.0.1 than with any previous version of Firefox.

Did that inadvertently (can someone at Mozilla tell me if the download procedure has changed? I only wanted to download the new version, not install it right away, but it got installed with no input from me. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT. Starting to lose my love of firefox.)
Everything is just GONE. Thanks, firefox team, for nothing.
