As far as deleting the songs, in a situation like this, you should restore the iPod which will delete the songs as well as allow you to sync your own music.

This is after you reload itunes and it say successfull install have removed and reloaded itunes at least 5 times. Apple is of little help have spent hour on thier diagnostics. one thing odd it says to remove a program called quicktime that i never find.

Well you actually can use it to hold all kinds of files.
If you don't like the itunes interface there are a whole lot of apps that will wired or wirelessly swap files back and forth with your iPod.

amd these are just the ones I use on a weeklly basis, most were cheap or even free, check them out at the itunes store or from appshopper or something like that.
OR goto ifixit and order a new sceen and put it on yourself for cheap

Delete ALL your email accounts.

I think that would be super useful before you go to an event, create a folder on the phone for that event and just use it to take pictures. All the pictures for the event will be in that album and no need to move pics around at a later time!

That would be great, but unfortunately, all new pictures automatically go into the Camera Roll.
I wish that once you created an album and selected it to import from the Camera Roll, it would delete from the Camera Roll.

We are talking about that Nike device. We have a iPod Classic (software version 2.0.1) and an iPod touch (iOS 4.2.1, an earlier model....maybe 3 years ago). When we plug in into the classic it says "the accessory is not supported) and when we plug it into the touch it says "no receiver required," but neither will load the nike+ running app. I believe it said that our iPod was incompatible with this app. Is there something we need to do to make it compatible? I have recently updated my laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I have just added three new playlists to my Ipod Shuffle, 3rd generation. On the panel in ITunes in view on the computer, all looks fine and music plays. However, after syncing a million times, when clicking to "hear" the playlists, the voice will call out all the old playlists just fine - except for the 3 new ones I've added; it calls them out as "playlist 3, playlist 8, or "purchased". All software for the ITunes has been updated as of the moment. Why would switching from Vista to Windows 7 cause this frustrating issue? All help appreciated.

If VoiceOver is disabled in iTunes, you hear an abbreviated menu of playlists in numbered order, but not by name (for example, “Playlist 1, Playlist 2,” and so on).
So you'll want to make sure VoiceOver is enabled to correct this.

Just do a Remove All.
I would first find two consecutive EOL characters and replace with an extra line feed or a visible marker like an ampersand. Then Remove All EOL characters. Then replace all the all the ampersands with a CR/LF. It's pretty quick. A lot quicker than trying to remove 500 EOL characters one at a time.
Or, ask the sender to create the document in a word processor, zip it, then send it to you.
