Repair permissions and restart your computer. If this does not work, zap the pram. You should now see your external hard drive.

It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.

You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working. -
This has been going on for weeks. I've deleted and reinstalled Firefox at least a dozen times.
After EVERY search, I click the site i want, and get redirected to a completely different site.
Not to mention Firefox crashes quite a bit.

JWhy not just restore from the last backup you have?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Whenever i try to sync apps, tones, music etc, it says me to authorize my computer. But i had already authorized it and had even signed into my account. Can you please help me? I am facing this problems since long. please.

Whenever i connect my iPhone5, it starts to sync. later when it reaches the 4th stage of 'Tranferring Purchases' it stops and says me to Authorize my computer.
But i had already authorized it and even signed my apple id.
Moreover, i have only authorized 1 out of my 5 computers.

From what i understand i see that - Cookies are not transferred between your website and your webapp when installing the icon on the home screen (for authentication purposes for example). It was working until 6.1 and now it’s not working anymore.
