Are you getting an "iTunes has stopped working" message after the black, screen? Or is something a bit different going on?

I have tried to reninstall lion but to no avail and it wont let me reboot from a previous time whats happened to it and can i repair it please help
Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
When I create a text message from my contact on my iphone 5, the contacts mobile number appears and not there name. But when they respond to my text, is shows up as a new text message with there name. How do I fix this?
Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears. -
whenever i try to install creative cloud a prompt appears saying " adobe quit unexpectedly, its missing or damaged download a new one.. when i do it just says the same thing! how do i fix this
Jprice000 what operating system are you using? Has the Creative Cloud Desktop application worked previously?

IMovie - When exporting a video it zooms the video in. How can I fix this?
Ok this is on my iPad not iMac.
So basically when I try to export my movie to camera roll, it exports fine but when I click to watch it on camera roll the movie has automatically zoomed in, but when I go back to iMovie it is zoomed out like normal. How can I stop/fix this?Howdy Lumagofe,
I was thinking that you may need to reset the iPod Nano, outlined here How to reset iPod http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1320.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button simultaneously for at least eight seconds or until the Apple logo appears. You may need to repeat this step.
If the above step did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.
If that doesn't quite get the iPod going again, then it will need to be restored. Use this article to help with that Restoring iPod to factory settings http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1339.

Whenever I open a new window in Firefox, it not only opens a new window with a new tab, it also opens all my existing tabs a second time in the new window. This has been happening for several days. Closing Firefox and rebooting doesn't solve the problem.
A related problem is that if I close all tabs and close Firefox, then reboot and re-open Firefox, all the tabs that were closed re-open too.
This is new behavior in Firefox in my experience.Firefox opens the home pages in a new window, so if you want to open a new window blank then you need to set the home page to about:blank
You can check the startup setting:<br />
Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" | "Show a blank page" -
Quicktime keeps wanting to upgrade, but it will not finish becasue it cannot find the file quicktime.msi. The file is in the folder where it thinks it is. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but because it cannot find the file it stops. I have tried to run Quicktime but it says it is not there. How can I remove it so I can install it again.
It appears it is fixed. FYI. I went to Major Geeks and it said:

Hi guys, I really need help trying to figure out why Final Cut Pro will not allow me to export my project. I have done this in the past and had no problems at all with other projects, and I have done nothing different from what i can tell. Any help???

Thankyou for your help. No, I have done this and it does not work. I have tried clicking and dragging, selecting the file in the project library, selecting individual files etc etc etc. The only thing that may have helped me out was last night...I clicked on a tab in FCP on the far right side (that must have something to do with exporting as well) and a small screen popped up after clicking it stating i cannot export the file while it is still referencing media off of the camera. I dont understand this either? I do have to have my camera connected before FCP will RECOGNIZE the media clips, but they have all been imported to my external hard drive and once i click import from camera, it is complete within seconds, so the hundreds of video clips i am using are obviously saved on there somewhere already....im at a loss here as to what to do. Do i have to literally download ALL MEDIA in each project to my computers hard drive before final cut pro will allow me to export any of the projects i create?? This seems like such backward thinking...I dont have nearly enough room on my computers intenal memory to do this with all my video clips!!! -
I downloaded Itunes to my computer today to update my ipod's ios (4.2.1 yes i know im way behind) but when i click check for updates it tells me my ios is the current one. How can i fix this? please help!

I am trying to download through Itunes the news iOS 4.3.3 software to my Ipod touch 4th G. it starts downloading just fine, but when it gets about 200mg into the 600 mg file, it comes back with stopped (err= -3259) has anyone seen this??? I have tried downloading this at different times of the day, and have also tried it on different internet service providers ... still recieve same error msg...

If it still says installed when you go to Purchased in App Store, click somewhere else, and option-click Purchased. That allows you to redownload already installed software. -
I bought the song 'Go the Distance' by Michael Bolton. It said it had completed downloading but when I play my song it stops 1.01 minutes into it and goes onto the next song. How can I fix this?
It seems like alot of people are having this problem tonight. I dont know how to fix it but i hope apple fixes iTunes soon.

Tabbed Panels border-bottom color problem
Small problem. Page has black backround, and to match it, the border-bottom is set to black on the active tab. Trouble is that this breaks up the outline on the vertical left side in FF and Chrome (but strangely, not in IE). Any solution?
