Go to your Home folder, locate the Downloads folder. Select the folder with the mouse and drag the icon into the right side of the Dock. Voila!

I accidently removed my dowload folder as well. Your tip easily put it back in the dock, but now the folder opens differently. It used to show the most recent downloads at the bottom of a vertical list of icons. Now, a huge folder opens up in seemingly random order. How do I get it to go back to the previous preferences?

Double-clicking on an .itl file makes iTunes open the last database that it opened, not necessarily the file clicked on. To switch libraries press & hold down shift as you attempt to lauch iTunes. If you don't see the choose or create dialog close iTunes and try again.
If you've opened the "correct" library but it doesn't have the expected content see Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash...

I've never had Siri ask me anything when I pressed the home button, only when I asked her to do something. Check your settings in Preferences>General>Siri>Voice Feedback. Make sure it's set to always. That may fix your issue.

What do you mean it's lost? Did you actually put it on the new computer?
Simply installing iTunes and logging into your account does not cause content to magically appear.

I lost all of my photos and videos after download of iOS 5? how do I get them back?

So I updated to OS 5 last night an low and behold I lost all of my photos and videos? how do I get them back, I did do my download on my mac book pro. I would have thought that all of that stuff would have transferred automatic during the download of 5, but I guess that would make too much sense? So how do I get that stuff back?

I did the same thing last night also with my MacBook Pro. None of my music, video or photos not taken originally on my iphone were reloaded back onto my phone. I received an error message instead. I had to just re-drag the music and videos that I wanted back to my iphone. As far as my photos taken on my iphone...by chance, I had just backed those up earlier that day. I'm not sure where the photos are that I had put on my iphone in the beginning...they still show up in people's contacts, but they no longer show up under photos - ? This is very frustrating!

To download previously purchased apps, books, music or TV Shows to your computer
Open iTunes 10.4 or later on your computer. (You can download the latest version of iTunes here.)
If you're not already signed in, click Sign In and enter your Apple ID and password.
After you've signed in, click Purchased on the right side in the iTunes Store under the QUICK LINKS the section.
From your Purchased page, click the tab for the content type you're looking for (Music, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
Click Songs or Albums to change the page view and All or "Not in My Library" to view your purchased content that currently is not downloaded on your computer.
Click the download icon to the right of each item to download that item.
Note: Previously purchased music is only available through iTunes in the Cloud in Australia, Canada, Cypress, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Unfortunately you can't. You could try contacting Apple and asking nicely, but they're under no obligation to help you. If you can wait until fall*, when iCloud is officially launched alongside iOS 5, you can probably download them all again then.
The small print at the bottom of http://www.apple.com/au/icloud/ says "some music features of iCloud are available in beta now in the U.S. only"
I can't find anything which guarantees it will work outside the US after the beta, but it probably will. iTunes Match is definitely US only, for a couple of years at least until the legal stuff is dealt with.

I purchased a rental and it did not load all the way andI was never able to watch it. Since I can't ever get anyone on the phone, does anyone have any idea how to either get credit or be able to try i again without getting charged?
