HT1689 I am in the UK and have always been in the UK but for some reason iTunes now has me in the US and i cannot correct the information on my account
I have had an iTunes account for years but now find it extreemly complicated to understand. I don't even know how to get into my account!!!
My questions are:-
1. I have always lived in the UK but on iTunes I am now listed as living in the US!!! and as such cannot correct my details.
2. I used to be able to just log inmto my account, but now dont know where to go to do that.?
3. I haved an app for a Daily Newspaper on my iPad that i wish to cancel. How do i do that?
4. I had a good iTunes library, but all of a sudden all the songs/albums i had loaded on the the library myself disappeared, leaving only the albums i had purched from iTunes. Someone told me not to sync my iPod, iPad, or iPhone with my Library as it would take off all the songs i had put on.!!!
5. I paid an annual subscription to iCloud as i was told al;l the songs/albums i had uploaded would be in there but dont know how it all works and/or if they can be put back on to my library permanently.
6. My children used to buy me iTunes vouchers and i built up a credit of £80 on my iTunes account but the account was hacked and it all disappeard.
7. I am 67 and now find iTunes impossible to use...............i need help please.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPad, and sign into your account again.

Google, Twitter, StumbleUpon, and YouTube are a few site that it effects. Facebook seems to be the only thing not effected but Google is in this annoying type and what seems like everything else is too. I went to the preferences and checked with one of my friends preferences but they are both the same.

I have synced my ipod many times, but for some reason it will no longer sync the apps, and says there are apps installed that can not be determined. What should I do?

Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -

I downloaded a movie last night from iTunes and it downloaded to my laptop and my phone but for some reason it now won't play on my laptop. The album artwork on my laptop has gone and it exists perfectly on my phone. What do I do?
I paid for it so I'd really like to avoid paying again just to see this movie. Is it because it's on my iPhone? I have an external hard drive which has my i-photo on it & some movies from i-movie that I have on disk now. But for some reason my ehd has a caution symbol on it & I can't move my event to free up space on my hd so that I can export i-movie events. Help!
Usually the caution symbol means that it's formatted as a PC compatible format like NTFS or most likely FAT32. For iMovie to use it the ehd must be formatted Mac OS Extended. Then iMovie will show it without the caution symbol and you can drag/drop open any Event/Project from that hard drive.
To find out if it's formatted as PC:
Go to the desktop, holding down the Control key click on that ehd and in the pop-menu choose 'Get Info'
Under Format: It will say whether or not it's Mac OS Extended (Journaled). The only way to undo a PC formatted ehd would be to copy everything off of it first, Erase/Format the drive using Disk Utility in the Applications>Utilities folder on your Mac, choosing the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format in the pull-down menu there. -
Alright, I've had this problem for a while now, and I'm at my wit's end. Hope someone can help me.
First of all, I'm running Windows 8.0 on a Lenovo, using iTunes 11.1.5, and an iPhone on iOS 7.0.6.
Problem is, when I plug my iPhone 5 into my computer, the computer recognizes the iPhone, but for some reason, iTunes doesn't realize it's there. On top of that, every time I plug in, my phone gives me the same "Trust this computer?" prompt, like it doesnt recognize the computer I told it to trust 5 seconds ago. A couple times, I got lucky and iTunes dignified me with a "An iPhone has been detected, but could not be identified properly." prompt. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile device driver, updating everything, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, resetting my iphone settings, but nothing works. You bought the phone from this lady right and she did not turn off imessage. Try turning off imessage and restart the phone. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost). Wait a few minutes and turn imessage back on

My laptop has been repaired and for some reason my library on itunes has been wiped. Didn't pay attention and synced my iphone so have lost all the tunes off that now too. Ipad still has all the music on, is there an easy and free way to repopulate itunes from the music on the ipad?

If you can't remember the password for the ID, and no longer have access to the email account associated with the ID to reset it, try contacting iTunes Store support: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. They frequently deal with Apple ID password issues.

I have an ipod touch hardly used but for some reason i cant do anything with it
so it's ipod 16gb model pa627ll version 1.1.3 (4a93) it also has a wifi address not sure if that would help i tried to reset to factory settings and it didnt help it tells me when i try to go open safari that it can't open page because it can't find server
That sounds like the iPod is not connecting to your network.
iOS: Connecting to Wi-Fi
Try:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

If it works considering update the iPod to the last update, iOS 3.1.3. for your 1G (origina) iPod touch. You need that if you want to use app on the iPod.
