Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!

in case there are still adverts shown in places where they aren't supposed to be afterwards, it sounds like an issue with malware on the system. please run a full scan of your pc with the security software already in place and different tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx microsoft safety scanner] or [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan].

I have an Ipad mini but the screen seems to have a sticking problem around the O&P DELETE area if in Landscape mode which results in the continual typing of these if in Keyboard mode or the selecting of whichever app is in that area despite me not actually touching it. Any ideas how this can be fixed at all?

Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device, it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

TS4185 I am having microphone trouble on face time. Others cannot hear me. I have checked system preferences and everything looks ok. Mic symbol has a line through it but nothing happens when I try to click on it. Internal mic is selected.

The problem is I have an old account from an old I-pod which is now broken.Well the I-pod has been binned.I have a new i-pod and have a new user name.I have tried to access the songs i purchased yeateryear on my old device but and this is a but .....The new account will not allow me to access these older purchased songs. iPods (that are not iPod touch) are not directly linked to any "account." They are associated with your iTunes library. The account in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is used to purchase and download content from the iTunes Store. It lets the iTunes Store know who you are when you sign in.
Songs that are currently sold by the iTunes Store do not use DRM (copy protection). However, songs purchased during the earlier days of the iTunes Store do use DRM. If you have such songs that were purchased using a previous Apple ID (not your current Apple ID), you need to authorize your computer for that previous Apple ID.
Find one of the songs that does not play due to this problem. Right-click on it in any iTunes list, and select Get Info. On the song's Info window Summary tab, look for Apple ID. That is the Apple ID used to purchase this song.
From the iTunes menu bar, under Store, select Authorize This Computer. In the dialog window that appears, enter that Apple ID used to make the old song purchases (plus password). Do not enter your current Apple ID and password. Click Authorize.
The computer is now authorized for BOTH your old Apple ID and your current Apple ID.

then to my experience that is your imessages. Every picture that you sent and video, is saved again and again in every friendly conversation.
Keep in mind that it takes three backups until size of the backup is going to reflect changes, since icloud holds up to three.
Keep in mind that your photostream does not go against your storage.

I have registered my copy of CS4, but this does not allow me to use discounted price on my account

I want to signup to Creative Cloud using the 40% discount. It states on the site to register one of the products to validate I do in fact have a previous valid version.
I registered by going to Photoshop CS4 -> Help -> Register and filled it in. However the discount is not showing when I go to pay for the product.

Nobody can know. We do not know under which conditions your CS4 was purchased and whether it actually qualifies. it may have been under some special promo or licensing model and thus not be eligible. Either way, only sales support can give you a definitive anser, so use the web chat to contact them.

After foolishly loading a desktop feature for "PANDORA RADIO" I now cannot use fIREFOX. The screen only goes to "PANDORA" and is unusable......How do I get rid of "PANDORA"?

Upon trying to open FIREFOX, the screen displays a blue PANDORA RADIO radio screen and does nothing else and I cannot use my FIREFOX. This the rusult of ADD-on for my google home page. I am assuming that this is some kind of virus or malware that came in with the "PANDORA" add-on...the result is that I can't use firefox anymore???????

The problem has been resolved for me. I am a little fuzzy on how it got fixed.
I only have 3G, so I think I went to the library to use wi-fi.
I think I just deleted the stuck apps, and the downloaded them again. You do not have to pay again when you download a previously purchased app.
It is now August, and fortunately I have not had any stuck apps lately.
As you may already know, you cannot download an app over 20 MB via 3G.
I have the Kindle app also. No new updates lately. I only bought one thing using Kindle. It was a guide to iPad that was only $1.99 or so, but it did not really have anything that cannot be found in normal free Apple guide.
I have borrowed an ebook from the library using Overdrive app. You can choose the ebook version from Kindle.
I don't have any weather apps.

Photo stream switch does not show up

When trying to switch on photo stream , I go to settings then iCloud , I give my account data and the rest of the switches (mail, contacts, ....) appear but not the photo stream switch

I just realized that I can drag and drop the photo on the album in question.
Once I did that, it appears as expected.

Old Photo Stream in does not synch back to new iPh-Library

Hi,
after a crash of my old iPhoto library I had to start a new library (using iPhoto '11 ver. 9.4.3.). Now I want my photos from iCloud to be synched back to the new library. But since this "old" stream ist still linked to the old library, I am getting only photos synced, wich are recorded after the switch. How can I get also those old photos synced back to my new library? What am I doing wrong?
I was searching a while other threads but couldn't find anything similar. If I missed something, please link my there...

So you're running Yosemite and iPhoto 9.6, right? In that case do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
