You can only sync with one iTuns library/computer. It sounds like the Nano was previously synced to another computer/library.
Just make sure that you also ways sync to the same computer/iTunes library.

Thanks lllaass, but I am not computer literate and do not understand exactly what it is I am supposed to do. All of my photos were stored on Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery. When I now access the gallery the only thing that is there are the folders with the title of the folders. The pictures that were in those folders are now gone. I can no longer access them on my IPOD either. My photo library on my IPOD is now empty.

ITunes syncing hundreds of songs that were already on my iPhone every time

Title says it all, I'm using the latest iTunes (9.1.1) and have the 128kbps downscale option checked. iTunes is randomly selecting hundreds of songs that were already on the iPhone, and syncing them again, taking at least 30 minutes per sync.
Anyone else experiencing this?

How can I re-download a song that's already been purchased, but for some reason, is not on my computer? Is there any way to do this? According to the iTunes Store, the song has been purchased, yet it can't be found under "Purchased" and the song is nowhere in my library. What's going on here?

You are looking in the wrong "Purchased" section (a bit confusing, I know). You need to click on the iTunes Store. Once there, on the right side you will see a Quick Links section - under that you will see Purchased. Click on that Purchased. A window will display with Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc. Click on Music, then on Songs. Also, at the top of the window, you will see All and Not on this Computer/Mac, click on All.
You should then see a list of all purchased songs, and any that are not downloaded currently will have a little cloud next to them. You can click individually on a particular cloud to download that song, or you can click on Download All at the bottom to download all that are not currently on your computer.

Muse can open .muse files only. Sites downloaded to your hardrive as HTML cannot be imported to Muse. Pages need to be designed in Muse in order to be saved as a Muse project that you can always publish to the web.

When I try and download the itunes files, a message appears telling me that 7 songs purchased under the old apple id cannot be added to itunes on my macbook( the rest are added ok). I know the previous apple id, but have forgotten the password. When I try and retrieve the password using the security questions, I am asked for my birthdate. When I enter my birthdate, I am told this information is incorrect! Thats as far as i can go!
How can I update my apple id( and remove any old ones) if I can't retrieve the old password?

Hi - I seem to have a similar problem. I was prompted to update to iPhoto 11 yesterday (don't know why yesterday, I'm in iPhoto all the time). So I followed the instructions, library updated, all existing events and albums are there. I uploaded some more pictures and created a few new albums and did some new year spring cleaning, moving stuff around etc. And I started making a calendar.
I've opened it up today, my calendar is still there as are all the new events, but the pictures are empty outlines. If I open up a picture I just get the "!" but I can still see the thumbnails showing in the slider in the bottom - I don't know if that means the source files must still be there somewhere, or if it just means it captured thumbnails yesterday.
I've gone into it via "show package contents" and there just don't seem to be any masters for an upload yesterday. I also just had a look in the last import folder, because of a comment from someone above. As I scrolled down through the folder the images were there and literally disappeared in front of me - by which I mean, the thumbnails were there as I scrolled down and then would turn into empty outlines...!
All my old folders are still there, thankfully (although they're of course the ones that are also all safely back up).
Although I have a timecapsule, my photo library is too big to keep on my hard drive, so I keep it on an external drive - so it only gets backed up when I do it manually (thanks Apple for that, I will never understand why it was designed to work - or not work - that way). So if the pictures have been lost then they are gone for good which is super-frustrating (I just got back from South Korea and was in the middle of sorting out all my shots from that trip). It seems that this can only have happened because of the update - I should have known better than to have pressed yes.
If you have any ideas, I'd be most grateful!

These devices will sync with one computer at a time. When you sync to a new one, then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy of your old computer to move everything over.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your devices. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You will need to enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the new computer as well, otherwise that content will be erased as well. If you have a unique entry, then you should get the option to merge the data.
Hopefully you have your backup copy of your old computer and will not have to go through this.

It isn't an issue if you still have the backup, either on your computer or in the iCloud. You cannot restore to a backup that you have deleted.

Am I Paying for Pre-order + Songs that were Already Included in Pre-order?

I pre-ordered an album (hollywood undead day of the dead deluxe edition) but when I tried to download the songs they released prior to the album release date such as live forever and disease it wouldn't let me kept giving me an error so I pressed on the $1.29 for the song and was then able to download but it is a seperate charge for these 2 from my pre-order so the question is am I paying $13.99 for pre-order and the $2.58 for the other songs? It may not be much but i'm in college and every cent counts!

Itunes says my new laptop (windows 8) isn't authorized to play some of the purchased songs that are already on my iphone (I previously synced it with my old laptop). It says it will delete them from the phone unless I authorize the computer.

This results in an endless loop where I authorize it, and then get the same warning. I have already tried deauthorizing all the computers on the account, and then reauthorizing the new one yet the problem persists. Also, only three devices are associated with the account. I can't find the solution anywhere so help will be welcomed. All songs were purchased through the itunes store and it appears to be older ones that are targeted for deletion; however, these older ones are still available for purchase in the itunes store so that's not the problem. Is it hidden by Parental Controls? iTunes>Preferences>Parental Controls
Next try using the search feature to try to find it since the Purchased section is saying it is on your computer.

This is how the iphone is designed.
Copy everything form your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
