I just bought an Iphone4. When I tried to hook it up to Itunes it said i needed to update to 10.5 or higher. My Mac says 10.6.3 is available for download but it won't complete the task. It says my software is up to date. I DON'T want to start on Icloud. I have friends who have it and hate it. I like working from ITunes. Please help me figure this one out.

You could try going to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and downloading the installer to your desktop and running from there.

Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID ("email sign in") you want to use.

Please helpThe iPhone can be synced to one and only one computer at a time. Before you "marry" it to your new computer, be sure your new computer contains all the old computer's information. When you sync the iPhone to a new computer, it will be erased first. Then, whatever is on your iTunes Library will be synced to the iPhone.

With FireFox as my default browser, I create a shortcut on the desktop as per instructions in 'help' but when I click on the shortcut it opens in a browser which is not even running.

Make absolutely certain that FireFox is designated as your default browser.
Do this: Tools / Options / Advanced / Check Now / correct the setting
OR right click on any shortcut icon / Open With / Choose Default Program / select desired Browser / check Always... box / OK

What do I do now? My only options on the pop up are cancel or update.After the update you sync your content back to your phone. It should all be in your iTunes library & thus there should be no issues putting it all back on your phone.

What to do if the screen is stuck on the draft screen? I was writing a mail, saved it as draft, then later, was able to send it. However, the screen did not revert to the inbox page. The draft page seems to be hung or stucked. Safari and all others are working ok though.
I sent the draft to myself several times. That did not seem to be working, but when I opened Mail this morning, it has been sent all of the times and the Mail screen is no longer frozen.

I save my project by returning to my songs, but the app quit. Now I can see my project, but when I try and open it an animated gb guitar whooshes up and the app quits. I have tried rebooting. I'm really not techie at all and will only understand answers that say a) your project's knackered or b) your project's fine, just do this one really easy thing. I am using an iPad 2 and there are no updates waiting.
Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. I would recommend that you try temporarily disabling your security software and utilizing the directions listed at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html to install InDesign CC.

I am trying to make a photocard in iphoto '09 but when I open an album and then click on card the area where the photos to drag and drop should be is blank. I have managed to make a calender (which has the photos there to use) and can't work out what I am doing wrong. Please can someone help? You can't sync or drag your non iTMS music back directly from an iPod to iTunes. The transfer of non iTMS content is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod to discourage it's use as a device for mass file sharing. However there is a manual (free) method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I have an iphone 3GS that I have inactivated as of today. I still wish to sync this phone with iTunes (did a restore as I transferred my data to a new iPhone). However, iTunes is giving me an error message that there is no SIM card installed in the iPhone I'm attempting to activate. I've powered off the phone, held the power button & home button until iTunes popped up with restore note. Re-did the restore (twice) but still coming up with same error message.
Kind of what I figured.....will I be able to sync to iTunes in future as many times as I want without the SIM card (once it's activated again)?

Open itunes, connect ipod, select what you want, sync.
No need to restore. Just sync. It will erase the current content and replace with the content of the new computer. -

What if you try renaming both the SLCache and SLStore folders prior to launching Lightroom?
