I have downloaded the most recent updates on my computer to Photoshop and to Bridge and I am still unable to open images in camera raw to edit them. When I try to open the "Camera Raw Preferences" in Bridge, nothing happens. Could this be a problem with my computer and not the software? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
Sorry, I cannot take your word for your "the most recent updates". Very often users think they have the latest and greatest and it turns out they are wrong.
Please specify EXACT version numbers.
Also, more info is needed.

I cannot get the thumbnails for my catalogue. I have tried downloading the Lightroom program again and it tried to fix it but could not. I have gone to the page to check off thumb nail and that hasn't made any difference. I have the most recent update of lightroom. I can download the picture but I do not know which picture it is. This is frustrating as we are on vacation and i casnnot work on my pictures.

There are two different things here, an OS update and a software update.
Mac OS X 10.5 is the version of OS while the .8 at the end is the software update (release patches)
The most current software update for Mac OS X 10.5 is 10.5.8
No more software updates available. You would need to upgrade the OS, which would be to Mac OS X 10.6
Your new iPhone 5 would require iTunes 10.6 which is only available for OS X version 10.6.8 or later.
Your would therefore need to upgrade your Macbook to this version of OS.
It maybe brought on DVD via Apple directly (Contact Apple ) or using any good online vendor like Amazon.

Just connected apple tv. Everything works perfectly but the screen is not in color. I have tried reversing the HDMI cable and changing the output in settings and restarting. The screen is still black and white. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Okay my Apple TV is now asking me to go,to iTunes on my computer and verify my payment information. I only ever redeem iTunes cards and currently have a credit of dollars 26. I want to purchase but cannot because of this. In addition it is taking forever to access the iTunes Store and more often than not I get a message iTunes Store currently not available. I purchased the most rent iOS download from iTunes to update my 1st gen iPod touch and after it was done downloading it started to restore my iPod with the update and now my iPod wont update and it keeps showing error 1604 and won't come out of recovery mode how do I fix it so I can update my iPod touch with this software. This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

Tried to install the latest ITUNES update, but now it won't open my ITUNES at all. Saying I have a "Runtime error" and that I need to reinstall ITUNES. Tried a "repair" in Programs on my computer, but that didn't work either.

Restore the phone from backup using iTunes. If that doesn't work, restore the phone as a new device. If you still have problems, then you likely have a hardware issue and will need to bring the phone to Apple for evaluation

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

Try Resetting your iPad: Hold down the sleep and home buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.

the most recent update resulted in a loss of ALL of my bookmarks. This is not the first time this has happened and it is very disruptive. I tried the steps suggested to find the bookmarks but that failed.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
