Need to change acct to Canadian from American but it won't let me without using up my balance of $1.27. There is no way to spend exactly this amount. I do not want to use a credit card. I have a Canadian iTunes card that I want to redeem now that I'm living in Canada.

You will have to do more than simply changing settings in your moms account. To set up everything in your own account, go to Settings > iCloud > scroll down and press sign out. From this, check out this link for how to setup iCloud on all of your devices after making a new icloud account on your phone: https://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
Before you set that up, you will have to make a new iCould account which you can simply do after you sign out of your mom's account on your devices.

You have to be in a country to use its store - you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account to be able to use the US store (that applies to buying and redownloading).
You can use iTunes Match in South Africa, do you not have a backup copy of all of your US iTunes purchases so that you can subscribe to it and upload those that aren't in the South African store to it ? -

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Nonesense, why would a service that offers redeemable cards as cash would require a credit card verification. Who is answering this question? I am sick of Apple! I am here because I want to buy music for the year end festivities and had this card that I got when I bought a very pricey Mac Book Pro for my daughter, I thought at least I was getting something out of an outrageously high priced machine, but no, they cant' just make things easy for you... Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...

HT1918 My credit card was replaced and it won't let me change my CC info
I had to have my credit card replaced and my itunes account won't let me change my payment info for my debit card. When I finish typing all the numbers in, selecting the expiration date, and the security number I have tried to click done and it says "Please enter a valid security code". I have tried several times and it won't work time after time. How do I use my new debit card to pay on my itunes account? I can't download anything because it wants me to verify this information, which is now different, but it won't work. Can anyone help? Please and thank you!

I have changed my apple e-mail address in itunes and apple successfuly but now, every time I use my iphone 5 it is asking me to sign in but it still has my old e-mail address there so when I enter my password it says wrong id or password. I recently was living in the USA for 4 months I had to use vouchers to use my USA account now I am living in Canada I want to change regions but it won't let me because I still have credit on my USA account I want to remove that credit and switch to the Canadian store can apple wipe that credit for me.
