HT1918 keeps saying my security code is wrong
I keep putting different credit cards and its telling me that all cards security codes are wrong when im clearly looking at the card in hand, which is my bank card i use daily. Cant update or download nay apps because of this

If the security code or anything else is rejected the rejection comes from your card issuer. Apple is just passing the message along. So you need to contact the issuer.

Why can't I update or download apps on my iPhone? It keeps telling me my security code is wrong when I know it's correct. It's the same card I used to download the apps to begin with.(and yes, it's a good card)

HT1918 Keeps saying my SECURITY CODE is not valid
From time to time Apple wants to update my payment information but when it asks for the SECURITY CODE... Once entered i get an error message saying my SC is NOT VALID. I know it is valid because I entered directly from my credit card.

This is rediculous. Nobody on these forums are any help. There are tons of people who are having this problem and Apple is doing nothing. Personally my card just up and stopped working the other day. It works every where else but iTunes. I think this is what Anita is trying to say.

The security code is the 3 or 4 digit code on your card - on most cards it's on the back of the card on the signature strip, but on some cards (e.g. Amex cards) it's on the front.

MY iPhone won't let me download apps, it says I need to sign in and verify account payment options. Even for a free app and then it says my security code is wrong on my credit card! Ugh!! Help please!
Did you ever get this fixed? I started getting this same message yesterday when changing my card to a debit card that I had used previosuly for years. My last purchase was Saturday morning. Creating a new account results in the same message no matter whar card I try. They must flag accounts by computer ID for this to be happening.
I got a message stating that my problem has been handed to a senior advisor. I hate this wait especialy since I have had my account since 2003. -
I've been trying to update my apps but it keeps asking for my billing info so i retype everything and it keeps saying my security code is invalid when i know its not. It is same card they had on file before and the same security code but now it wont take it and i cant update anything. HELP!
If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank. -

If the App Store doesn't recognize your password, you should try to log into iTunes on your PC and make sure your password still works. If it doen't work there you may have been hacked and you will need to get in touch with Apple directly.
