It mentions "loss" NOT theft. you cannot find a mention of theft protection. Find my iphone is NOT theft protection and has never been advertised as such. -
After installing the 64 bit version of itunes my iphone still won't sync. I get the explantation that I mobile driver application did not download and i need to remove and reinstall itunes (which I have done numberous times). Any help?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now? -
i have a 2004 30gb ipod colour.....it was previously set up so i could manage the music on an old mac book pro g4.....i now have a new mac book pro, but i cannot get the music from my old ipod on to my mac......how do i do this???

Once you have successfully done that you can go ahead and choose Erase and Sync when you plug your iPod in.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check. -
i downloaded the icloud to my pc it says to login with apple id and it says it is a valid apple id but not cloud but i cannot get the control panel for icloud to come up to set it up on my pc which runs windows 8

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here;
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Click Go
Then right or control click the Flash Player.plugin then click Get Info
The version number is noted there.
Assuming you are using Safari ...
Check Safari > Preferences > Security
Make sure: Enable plug-ins is enabled.
Sometimes uninstalling the currently installed Flash plugin then reinstaliing new can help > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video / audio from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.

I have a problem with my iPhone 4s. An Apple rep looked at the phone tonight and determined I will need a new phone. I am now trying to back up my data to iTunes but I cannot get the phone to turn on. I have it plugged into my computer monitor but it just slowly flashes the Apple symbol. Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

If you cannot get the previous owner (who may not be the seller) to release it the phone is useless; return it to the seller.
Normally someone releasing an iPhone for resale will erase their personal data first (for obvious reasons). To do this they must release Activation Lock. So the previous owner either forgot to do this (unlikely) or the phone was stolen from them. If it was stolen then you are in possession of stolen property, which in itself is a crime, even if you didn't know it was stolen.
There are a few ways to find out who the phone is still locked to. You can try contacting them, but if the phone WAS stolen the outcome will not be a good one. So the best thing you can do now is return the phone for a refund. -
On Apple TV, my pictures have loaded, but I cannot get the slideshow function to work. It has been "loading" 28 pictures for five minutes. What am I doing wrong? I have Windows 7 on my PC.
I don't have any direct experience with D-Link equipment, but I may be able to provide some general advice. See if you can use a Web browser to connect to the D-Link's configuration screen. This probably involves visiting a URL such as http://www.192.168.0.1 . If you haven't changed the sign-on parameters, a quick Google search should find them for you.
Once there, note as many configuration details as you can find. You'll need those to configure your Time Capsule.
Use the AirPort Utility to configure the Time Capsule.
One last thing: It's quite possible that the Verizon network will have locked onto the "MAC" address of your D-Link router. Something needs to be done to reset this. If there's a separate box at your house that came with the FIOS equipment that's "upstream" from the D-Link router, I'd cycle power on it to see if that does the job. Otherwise you'll probably need to call Verizon to ask them to reset things once your Time Capsule is installed in place of the D-Link router. -
In itunes, pressing alt to display the menu bar totally worked for my windows running machine but I CANNOT get the menu bar to show in itunes on my imac. what's with that?
You got me experimenting ... and it was viewing the display with the green button (rather than amber) on the left that revealed the menu bar. Hovering didn't do it. Thanks for your help. First time in Apple Support.

I am a first time user of the new airport extreme time capsule 2TB. I use a macbook pro and imac. I installed the router today and got on wirelessly. BUT I cannot get my 2 printers that were previously wireless to find the router signal. The worked fine on my current set up OS Mounitain Lion 10.8.4. Apple tells me it is the printer mfr issue and printer companies tell me it is apple issue. Any help appreciated.

Arguably, they're both right.
Changing your router changes everything, so your best course of action is to research the respective printer's documentation and determine how to reset them to factory default condition. Then, add them again using System Preferences > Print & Scan.
For that, I recommend you first "reset the printing system" according to these instructions: Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system. Its instructions for Lion are identical to those for Mountain Lion.
As the article states, it will remove all your existing printers, leaving the Mac's printing system in a similar "factory default" condition ready for you to create a new print queue for each printer, which you should probably do.
