Want to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Ran uninstall for itunes and QuickTime. Unable yo remove Bonjour and Aple program. Error message that they are in use or the folder is open, ipodservice.exe is not running.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I started to download Firefox and without realizing it I agreed to some additional programs that I do not want on my computer. The ones I can identify are ConstaSurf and SearchProtect. For step 1 - Uninstall ConstaSurf program from your computer - thru the Control Panel
If that's where you get that message about them bring in use, try closing Firefox and any other browsers that you may have open and then try to uninstall those two. -
When trying to log into my MSN Hotmail account (@msn.com), after I enter my credentials, Firefox gives me an error message that "Firefox can't find the server at blu152.mail.live.com". Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

Never had an issue before. Have installed latest software update and now only some of my photos will download. For many weeks now, my iTunes has failed to update. I download the updates and they go through the installation process, but then I get an error message that they failed to install. How can I update?
Wild guess but if your WinXP system has formatted your drive(s) as FAT32 then the maximum file size is 4GB. Could be that the download in 1080p is >4GB? (if formatted NTFS then this should not be a problem).
Again just a guess with iTunes on WinXP but something easy to check first. -
Why do some of my songs have an exclamation point in Itunes? When I try to play it gives an error message that it can be located?
This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I have moved and changed ISP from Brighthouse to Verizon. I am receiving my icloud emails, but the senders are receiving messages that they are undeliverable. I can't find the cause or solution to the problem. Any thoughts?
PS. I have deleted Roadrunner accounts, and reset new email account.You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

Your timely response saved the day -- it was a little hairy there for a while, with .jpg files all over the desktop, but after resorting to pen and paper (still necessary at times) and recording the numbers of all files, I am now good to go.
The little green star and the bogue award of 10 points doesn't begin to convey how helpful your post, but it's all we're given (plus these words, of course).
To briefly sum up -- This morning (after the debacle last evening that started all this) I was trying to reconcile myself to the fact that my photos were lost for good and that I had only myself to blame.
Now, I have all my photos back (more than 200 hundred, some of them really kind of cool, if I do say so myself) and all are now sitting nicely in iPhoto waiting to be manipulated, edited and otherwise toyed with.

When trying to uninstall iTune (because the current install has problems; iTune error message states it cannot sync and that I should reinstall the application; also, it fails when I tried to upgrade to the latest release), I get the error message 2324. What should I do to reinstall the application?
That installer error is a "Can't open file" error
It suggest that you may have a corrupt file.
Try running a disk check

If it fixes errors try uninstalling iTunes again.
If that doesn't work, is it possible for find out the name of the problem file, is further information available? Try looking in your Action center - that's on the control panel. Another place is in the Windows Error logs. From the start menu , right click on "Computer" and select manage, then Event viewer.
If nothing emerges, try a manual uninstall of iTunes and related programs according to this method:

Don't worry if an uninstall fails, that is expected. Go on to the part where you have to delete files (2. Verify iTunes etc completely deleted) . Hopefully you manage to find a file that can't be deleted, that is the one we will need to deal with. -

I have tried rebooting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, making sure all plug-ins are updated (they are), disabling every other plug in to see if it was interfering (they weren't -- still got same message), and reinstalling adobe reader (and flash, just for good measure).Did you try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox?
